Expired today - the whole door full.

A whole door full of expired milk! Be sure to check; the store personnel obviously know it's expired!

I think I come here 6 days a week and I am glad they have all our needs! They have a good variety of produce to choose from! The employees are always there to help and the store is clean and shelves are full.

The meat was rotten before the expiration date.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because the employees are Phenomenal!! Absolutely adorable them!! Except the tall Hispanic manager who's there during the day. He is unprofessional, rude and unprofessional. Like dude, you're "just" a grocery store manager, not a doctor to be having that stuck up attention. I asked him a question, he did reply but kept walking and made no eye contact. He doesn't care if the lines are long. I always buy my ground beef there (85/15,) but lately it's been absolutely disgusting! I bought 2.50 pounds on Tuesday (looked very light colored,) skeptically made half on Wednesday (exp was for Thursday 6/19) by Thursday it was so nasty looking and smelled rotten. Just a heads up. And our WinCo brand white rice had worms in it!

The refrigerators in the Moreno Valley Winco were filthy. This is where they stock the beer and buzz ballz. I have photos they are attached. Nasty enough to make someone sick Customer service lady is lazy and should not be working this counter

I don't live anywhere near the store anymore. My family lives in Moreno Valley and I wanted to order a sheet Cake. Winco has always been very convenient because it is 24 hours. I spoke to Emily in the bakery and it says I can place an order online for a cake that I need tomorrow, but there was no option to do so. She explained to me that there is no way of ordering over the phone or online even if it's paid for an advance. I explained to her that the drive would be about two hours and she said there was nothing she can do about that. Totally understandable, it's not her policy. I asked her what the chances are of me going early tomorrow to purchase a cake in person and she said the chances are very high. She was very Short in her responses and the responsibility of getting a cake for a party tomorrow was just put in my lap a few minutes ago, so the urgency of being able to purchase one is pretty high. Because she was not forthcoming, and her responses were made on a daily basis to give me a better understanding of whether or not I would be able to purchase one. She said they are made. I asked her what time they are usually made and put out for sale and she said she had no idea because she was a closer. I asked her what the chances are of being able to purchase a cake by walking in on a Saturday morning and she said she isn't sure because they don't make them every day. She literally just told me they made them on a daily basis. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to that might have a little more information and she told me that she is the only one there. It's pretty wild to me that there was absolutely no way to get some very basic answers, not only from her, but that there was absolutely no interest on her part to perhaps ask someone else that might know a little bit more. I confirmed that she actually worked in the bakery. Very frustrating altogether. This is a giant store, and anytime that I have gone there in the last year, it seems like there are less and less employees available or interested in providing any form of customer service. I prefer to shop at Winco because I know that the employees hold a share of the company but clearly that hasn't mattered to the Moreno Valley location.

So convenient

Ask the Community - WinCo Foods

Do they have a full service deli?

Yes

Do they carry Thai tea? Loose or packaged.

They do not. You might want to try some of the local Asian markets.

Where do i file a complaint about a rude employee?

Zero people skills and lack of human decency. is what winco likes to hire its a very common winco thing.

How are the cakes there that you order from the bakery?

Hi Judy! We like them, and so do our friends =D Be sure to talk to your bakery next time you are in - or some of them you can order online at WinCoFoods.com/shop for payment & pick-up in store with 24 hour notice. Thank you!

Can I bring my own container for bulk? For example, the spices and such. Or will it be a problem? I have some bags to put bulk items in to reduce plastic-waste use.

Good Morning Bre! Thank you for the great question. At this point, we do not allow customers to bring in their own containers to the Bulk Foods Department - this is for food safety, tare weight & a variety of other reasons. Please know that our… Read more

Do you carry green olives stuff with garlic?

Hi Eduardo! We don't see them listed, but it could be an item your Moreno Valley Deli may have - be sure to ask an employee owner on your next visit or give your store a call at (951) 867-3066 - thank you!

Where the savings really add up is in the bulk foods (I've yet to regret going bulk on anything), meats, and the bakery.

I will say that prices are definitely on the higher side for many items, but that's somewhat expected for "healthy" grocery alternatives. Unfortunately, my experience could have easily been 5 stars if it weren't for one employee (a heavier-set man) who initially treated us very kindly. However, once he saw my family member paying with an EBT card, his attitude noticeably shifted. The warmth and friendliness disappeared, and we felt treated differently after that moment. No customer should feel judged or treated unfairly based on their method of payment. It was disappointing, especially after what started as such a positive visit. I hope management addresses this, because aside from that interaction, the store itself was great. Every customer deserves to feel welcomed and respected. In customer service, professionalism and kindness should be consistent, regardless of how someone pays.

There were a bunch of employees on the floor throughout the store, no greeting, no acknowledgement, no offer of assistance, etc. on top of that, the two items we came for (normally stocked items) were the only two they did not have which is odd because every other location I have ever been in, it's a staple in all locations. Their AOS aisle was also very haphazardly disorganized with random things just shoved on the shelves with no rhyme or reason. ALDI is my jam, but I for sure wouldn't return to this one.

They're basically all just cucumber and rice. The ones with any fish seem to be priced at $6 and even then it's like the tiniest slivers of tuna. They have poke bowls as well, but something is seriously wrong with the seaweed salad in them. It's straight up gray, not green, and so I've been too scared to try one. There are managers specials frequently, as well as discounted prepared food often available in the late afternoon. I'm fond of the kale and apple salad, and there's a black garlic shrimp platter that is delicious as well. If you can catch them on sale, I'd definitely recommend picking them up! One thing that was super tragic is that they've discontinued so many of their refrigerated vegan products. I was happy to pick up a ton of vegan protein for cents on the dollar the one day I caught the massive clearance, but my stock is finally running low and I'm sad I won't be able to find a lot of the same stuff here anymore.
