My husband decides on a salad and two chicken strips. My soup was a very generous serving of chicken with pasta noodles. It was hot, hearty and delicious. The full size chicken wings were perfect. My husband's salad appeared to be super fresh and his chicken strips were very nice, not greasy or salty, just fresh. For dessert we decided on the always fresh and delicious donuts. They were so good that we purchased a box to go for the family. No matter what time they are purchased, they are always fresh. We really enjoyed our very casual lunch and Ingles will always be an option for a quick and easy lunch on the go. ***In addition to their hot food bar, you can always get a custom made sandwich with Boar's Head cheese. This Publix is located in a fairly small shopping center that shares parking with various smaller businesses. Parking is usually easy to find any time of day. So back to the items that I will come specifically to Publix for. Fried chicken: some of the best fried chicken you'll have period. Skin is flavorful and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy. Sub sandwiches: forget any other chain type sub place, Publix is the way to go. The subs are huge and delicious. Do yourself a favor and order online and have it waiting for you because the line and wait are usually pretty long. Steaks: cuts of meat here are awesome compared to Kroger, lean and not as fatty. Again, not my first choice for grocery shopping but not a bad option depending on what you're looking for.
