When ever I am out visiting my mom and step-dad out at the family farm, I my stop in to get a few things, especially the prize winning locally grown and slaughtered meats. Talk about quality and fresh. I think it is the best meat in Ohio, for you carnivores out there. They also have fresh Amish style baked goods, and produce. This market has thrived through good times and hard times. Even with a Kroger super store that opened outside of Heath, or the local Walmart. They can not compare to TCs. I tried to pop in for three things. The place is so big there are multiple places for each thing, so you have to wander the whole store. Pillows? Three places that I saw, probably more. Oven thermometer? Actually, most of the kitchen stuff is in one place, so this didn't take too long. Health and beauty? All sorts of items scattered along one entire side of the front of the store. I would have asked for help at the pharmacy but there was a line, and I had to brave carts and customers at random angles in the aisles. I left as soon as I could. Which was awhile later, because half of the self-checkout stations were closed, and customers at a couple others had issues and were waiting for the clerk. Who was helping another customer install an app, and taking her sweet time. I heard her say "and it tells me how much time I save at Scan and Go" and bit my tongue before I asked if that was measured when all the self-checkouts were operational and available. Meijer's Bakery WOW WOW WOW…read more Wow -- what exceptional service from the bakery department at the Meijer on Columbus Pike! We needed a Mickey Mouse birthday cake in less than 36 hours for a little boy's special birthday wish, and no other bakery in the area could guarantee it. The Store Director, Dessie, personally walked us through decorative options and assured us it would be ready by Sunday afternoon -- and she delivered on that promise. There was a minor issue at pickup, but Natasha corrected it within five minutes with professionalism and a smile. That kind of responsiveness truly makes a difference. The final cake was exactly what we hoped for, and our son is going to be thrilled. It's rare to find a team that steps up so quickly and makes things happen when you're in a pinch. We sincerely appreciate Dessie and Natasha for going above and beyond. Thank you!
