When I go there around holiday times, NEVER any grocery carts. Dead scooters near ALL the time. Other than that, I have NO complaints about shopping in person, but my gripe is about the pickup "service." Food NEVER ready at the time I picked, and once, after waiting like two hours, I was texted and/or called saying my food was ready, only it was 8 pm. When I get there, pickup was CLOSED. Why let me know it's ready when they've already closed? I sat there a LONG time and when no one came, I had to go into the store, and got a very rude manager type person. I told her she WAS going to go back to get my items, and she said "nope, not doing that." I had to go back the next day, and I was out of necessary items. She comped me, but not that much. It should have been free, as my friends said. Here I am, tried it again, again they say it will be ready by 7 or 8. OR 8? Again, if I were to go there, it would be closed. So, I'm not even going to bother. I'll get it in the morning. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I get it, everyone, since at least the Pandemic, has been short staffed, but, don't people want to work anymore? If it's too short staffed, just stop offering it. Problem solved.

Living out in Newark, I'm basically restricted to Kroger (hell on earth) or Wal-Mart (that place you hang out before you make it to hell) and this little gem I decided to check out. Concept of it is, no advertising, no grocery bags, 100% recycling of materials and limited selection = lower prices. You can buy plastic or reusable bags or they will give you boxes if needed. The brands are mainly not really well known, the selection is just as you'd expect going into a store that is 1/8 the size of the other two places. But, it basically has everything you'd need in a basic grocery store trip. The veggies are fresh and local, a lot of the brands are local and for basic food staples - the prices are really amazing. I've made this my first stop for my grocery needs then I back-fill from the other locations as needed. Added bonus is the ladies working there are all super nice and the store is kept very clean.

And this one is fairly negative too. It's Walmart. So, chaotic parking lot, chaotic aisles, mentally disturbed customers (explains my presence,) staff who are former customers and just as clueless. I tried to pop in for three things. The place is so big there are multiple places for each thing, so you have to wander the whole store. Pillows? Three places that I saw, probably more. Oven thermometer? Actually, most of the kitchen stuff is in one place, so this didn't take too long. Health and beauty? All sorts of items scattered along one entire side of the front of the store. I would have asked for help at the pharmacy but there was a line, and I had to brave carts and customers at random angles in the aisles. I left as soon as I could. Which was awhile later, because half of the self-checkout stations were closed, and customers at a couple others had issues and were waiting for the clerk. Who was helping another customer install an app, and taking her sweet time. I heard her say "and it tells me how much time I save at Scan and Go" and bit my tongue before I asked if that was measured when all the self-checkouts were operational and available. Two stars because they did have most of what I needed, at reasonable prices. But I am questioning the life choices that led me here.

It's NOT an Ohio law. It said that some stores might say no because they can't scan the paper ID. I went to the BP on 79 and they had no problem looking at my paper and expired license.
