And I vintage Polaroid for 40 bucks. and the person the cash was really nice too. I really like how they are using an old building for the original purpose. Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.

Though many of their acts of kindness went unnoticed by the public with some going as far as to shame them for their race and spew unwarranted hate in their direction the people who ran and operated Valley discount still did their best to help people and other small businesses in the winchester area. When we first came to the door at 11:45 am it was still closed and the paper on the door says that they open at 12pm. Just as we were heading back to the car the owner open the door and invited us in a bit early which was nice of him. Looking around you will find a lot of variety of items such pet supply, car items, jewelry, pillows, and more at a discount. After walking around we found some items that interested us and paid at the register. They have a big parking lot so no issues there. All in all, my experience here was good and would recommend everyone stop by here before the closed down forever in a few months.

Gas is competitively priced, but is still a high price relative to where I live. There is so much traffic through Breezewood! So many people visit Sheetz and you can barely get a gas pump there, so I like to avoid the crowd and stop at Sac's. No waiting for a gas pump here and the gas prices are usually the same. Store is located just outside of Northumberland on Route 11, immediately next to the American Legion. Parking lot can get tight if the store is busy and it's built on a downhill slope, so unattended shopping carts can roll away. What will you find product wise? A decent fresh fruit/vegetable section. Frozen food section with a lot of discontinued products. Tons of canned good including bulk #10 cans. This location off season sells various fountain fireworks. They also have small kids toy selection. Compared to the Berwick store, this one feels like it has less stock in general. Why I knock a few stars off is you need to check expiration dates on EVERYTHING. No exceptions and at this store they are less well marked on items like cereal. Toiletries and other general pharmacy items are not competitively priced. Paper products have about the same quality as generic items at Dollar General (not great.) Overall, I like Surplus Outlet, and it's worth stopping in to see what they have.

The store is spacious for a discount grocer and had a large section of beauty and health products, more so than others. Many were damaged packaging or expired but that's to be expected. What I didn't expect was such a large and impressive freezer and produce section. Had I had more room in our travel trailer camper I would have bought a ton more! Prices were low and the selection was very broad and fully stocked. Ditto for the produce which looked to be in very good condition and not "seconds". Since discount grocers tend to carry discontinued products I did find several items I'll probably never find again, but at least I enjoyed them once! The staff on the floor was also helpful in directing me to the dept I was looking for. The cashier however had the personality of a slug, and when hubby and I tried to engage in conversation with her she made eye contact but no response. Four stars because although they had a cart wipe station the wipes were completely dried out. A sign at the door insisted there would be no entry unless masked. However a big family with a ton of kids (all touching stuff and a muck around the store) ignored the mask rule and were allowed entry. Also when I tried to go back Sunday on our way home to stock up they were closed. No Sunday hours is a huge let down.

The pricing goes by the day so Sunday-Monday seem to be the prime days to get the best stuff at the best prices. The employees aren't very easy to spot and most don't speak much English, but the store is pretty self explanatory and I notice they do a good job tidying up. I've found a plethora of items here from Amika blowout spray to puzzle advent calendars, and even cases of Celcius and C4 energy drinks! Would recommend visiting, but maybe bring gloves or hand sanitizer!
