We were planning to grill, so we picked up two beautiful ribeye steaks from the meat department. One of those steaks was so large it easily fed three people! We also stopped by the seafood counter and asked if they could steam some shrimp for us. The butcher helping us was happy to do it and told us it would take about 10-15 minutes. We finished the rest of our shopping, swung back by to pick up the shrimp, checked out, and headed home. Great selection, friendly service, and a smooth, stress-free experience. I do believe they charge for bags because even though it's on Lakeline, it's on the Austin side . YELP Austin Elite All Star Approved!!

Not only did he have an attitude with me for interrupting his phone call and I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or talking to her because he was talking to both of us at the same time - he also sold me the wrong phone card that isn't compatible with the phone I selected. I called a manager when arriving home to tell her my complaint but didn't know the card was the wrong card yet. Then I had to purchase ANOTHER $35 phone card at home online to use the phone. Now I have to drive 30 minutes back to the Walmart to return the incorrect phone card JOSEPH sold me while he was extremely rude on his personal phone call. Flat out terrible! Who does this?!

Grocery store strawberries are routinely big and pulpy (that's a BAD thing!), but the last container we bought at this Walmart (Driscoll brand) was terrible: bright red on the outside but with hard white pulp inside. They sliced like potatoes (and were the color of potatoes inside), and the flavor was almost non-existent. When will produce sellers and suppliers (and inexperienced shoppers who fall for ads that say "big and plump") realize that "big and plump" DOES NOT indicate quality strawberries; the best ones are smaller, red or dark pink all the way through, and have a strong, sweet strawberry taste and (when cut) smell.

It is not the newest H E B and it is not the most updated, but honestly, that is part of what makes it so great. Even when it is crowded, you can still move around easily and get down the aisles without constantly waiting for someone to move their cart. A lot of the newer H E Bs have much smaller aisles, which can make shopping feel stressful, especially during busy times. That is never really an issue here. On top of that, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, helpful, and consistent every time I visit. Parking is also usually ample, so you are not circling the lot forever trying to find a spot unless it is right before a major holiday like Thanksgiving. Overall, this H E B gets it right. Great service, great products, and a store layout that actually makes grocery shopping easy and stress free. This location definitely deserves the recognition.

The parking lot is massive. The only complaint I have is that they sometimes advertise misleading prices on banners but the item price something different when scanned at checkout. And if you don't notice it during scan, you have to go through a time consuming return process or keep the overpriced item

I was greeted by a friendly worker when I entered, and found the food service by following the yummy smell of onions cooking. I went for a bacon cheeseburger & some fries. $9.27 out the door before a tip. The cook was great & accomodared all of my requests. I told the cashier that I was going to wait outside with my dog & I'd be back inside in about 5 min for my food. About 3 min later, the cook came out the door & delivered my food to me! Great service, tasty burger & fries. I'll be back to try some other menu items soon! Don't let the outside discourage you from going in. It's a bit old looking. It's worth going in! Cute grocery store
