Apparently, their online inventory doesn't reflect whats actually available at this location. I was called less than 5 minutes from when I was supposed to pick up the car and told that they don't have any vehicles to rent me. When I asked her why I was allowed to rent online and that I had already paid she became defensive and told me that it was actually my fault for booking while they were closed....imagine that... If your website shows that you have rental cars available...and your website says I can reserve one...andddddd your website takes my pre-payment for said car...how is any of this "my fault"? YOUR system sucks - just say that! Avoid this place.

He had one on the lot, he did price-matching to the guys(Enterprise) across the street, and he even took two trips with me to my local hotel so I wouldn't have to leave my current car at his business for 4 days. The car(Ford Explorer) was a rock star and I could not have asked for more, as it handled every crazy road I threw at it. When I returned, Darrin even gave me an unasked-for discount because I returned the car so clean. Darrin is a real people person. Giving 1 star simply because I can't give it 0 stars and people need to be warned of this awful…read moreplace. They will rent you a vehicle with the check engine light on, and blame it on a sensor, only to try and blame the customer later. They will also cancel a reservation last minute because they refuse to work, even though Priceline has their vehicle rentals on sale because they have so many vehicles sitting around. They give the one customer they rarely get a hard time and charge them extra, just to not have to work because ripping off customers makes them money. The typical type of business that gives Barstow a bad name.
