Pretty straightforward. Less than 20 minutes in the chair. I walked in on a Wednesday morning in August. Becky was the only stylist, and she told me everything was by appointment and they were pretty solidly booked. I figured I didn't have anything to lose (this was my fourth stop, on my impromptu tour through hair styling salons in Long Beach), so I said, 'Honestly, you can probably take care of me while she (Becky's client) waits for her hair to dry. I just need a number 2 trimmer everywhere.' Becky thought for s second and said, 'Sure!' I walked out about 15 minutes later, a happy customer! Booked another appointment right then for six weeks out. Becky is professional and personable. Very happy that we were able to connect!

I highly recommend it...anyhoo, I didn't have time to get my hair done before we left, so I kept asking around for a place to go and people kept telling me 'Vicki, up on the highway' (small town life). Finally, finally, I found the salon in Nehalem - and there was Vicki! She was actually leaving to go meet her son at the airport or somewhere, he was finishing a tour of duty in Iraq - so Pam did my hair - she did a great job and it was so reasonable to boot! Plus, they had a very well known celebrity and her entourage (I think it was 1 or 2 people, ha ha) in that day for manicures/pedicures. This person was a big celebrity in the 70s so from what I understand the girl doing her nails asked her what she did for a living in Los Angeles - ha ha ha - that is cute! Upon moving to the North Beach last year, I was so attached I actually flew back to CA to get my hair cut out of fear of it being able to find someone I trust.
