Mike not only shortened my sweater, but re-created the intricate hem design! I was so impressed. And I had a t-shirt, which I wanted to be turned into a tank top. I told him to just cut off the sleeves and shortened the hem. But he re-styled it and made it look so much better than I had even hoped for. This tailor is an artist. He makes custom clothing, too. I found out about designers tailoring from a coworker and heard a lot of great things so I knew I had to go. I was greeted by Mrs. Dang when walking in, and she was super friendly and welcoming. I was directed to put on the dress in the try on room and Mrs. Dang immediately got to work on my dress. I could tell that she was very skilled, and she knew exactly what to do with my dress. she pinned in my dress around my arms and the strap immediately fit perfectly! I was able to pick up my dress within a month, but I believe that she was done sooner. Overall, I had a great experience with designers tailoring and will definitely be back for all of my tailoring needs! The prices and timing are unbeatable as I was quoted three times more for what I needed and a three month turnaround time at other places. Thank you, Mrs. Dang!

What I'd like to point out first, is that the super kind human who took our order was absolutely that: super kind. My partner and I felt good about our research and choice of NextGen, and the wire rack piled to the top with comforters, mattress pads and other bedding only furthered our confidence. Sadly, once we removed the bed from the bag, I felt confused that perhaps the wrong item had been picked up. It looked nearly identical to when we'd first brought it to NextGen, but with quite a few more strands of (different lengths) of hair stuck to it throughout. Secondly, almost every quilted square of the bed had faux filling bunched up in a variety of balls--I had originally purchased the square patterned bed to avoid this problem once cleaned. :( I wanted to bring my item back immediately, however, my health at the time did not allow it. I gave two stars for the kind atmosphere. P.s. I am attaching a very faded receipt, with the word, "wait" written at the top, because I felt it so important to write a review. Especially if it helps future costly mishaps occur.

That's over a 10-size difference, and you would never know. Every piece looks like it was custom-made for me. What truly sets Ionna apart is not just her technical skill, but her creativity. We've collaborated on reimagining certain pieces beyond the designer's original vision to better match my personal style--and the results have been amazing. Most of the garments I bring her are vintage, and since the original designer is no longer around, my only option is to purchase whatever size I can find and rely on expert tailoring to make it work. Ionna executes this flawlessly every time. On top of all that, her pricing is incredibly reasonable for the level of craftsmanship she provides.
