Soon we were offered a canceled appointment - even better! She did a thorough exam, discussed her findings with us, and answered all our questions. Before proceeding, she gave us multiple options. She and the wonderful staff always waited patiently while we weighed our options and the costs. We were never rushed. Exam room was very comfortably set up for both cats and owners. The medicine she prescribed was specifically designed for cats and accompanied by a packet of easy to use pill wrap and coating that our cat easily ate with its food. Good news - the next day - the cat was up walking and eating. The vet's tech called us to make sure everything was OK. Great experience with an exceptional vet and support team.

We got to pet and feed not only mini pigs, but also goats, ducks, chickens, and even a large, handsome turkey. And because it was Valentine's Day, the staff passed around glasses of sparkling wine for guests, which was an extra special touch. The setting is tucked away in a mountainous area, making it feel like a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was the perfect stop on our way to San Diego. From the start, we were impressed by his reviews, videos, and -- most notably -- his facility. It's not what you'd typically expect from a breeder. Ary lives on the property, but his dogs have large, well-maintained play yards, plenty of toys, shaded areas, and an impeccably clean environment. When we visited, Ary took time to educate us about the Olde English Bulldog breed, even though we had already done our research. His passion for the breed and his dedication to finding the right home for each dog really stood out. It was clear that his priority is the well-being of the dogs, not profit. A year later, we are still continually amazed by Ary's ongoing care and support for his customers and their fur babies. He responds to every text within an hour and has fostered a wonderful community through his One of a Kind Bulldogs group. The group is an invaluable resource for training tips, medical advice, and encouragement from other Bulldog owners. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

The Hope2K9 adoption experience was exceptional…read more The pup that we rescued (Freyja) was full of love and nervous energy. We decided to rescue her a few days before Hope2K9 had an open spot to start her training. When we brought Freyja home from the rescue we learned that she was part shark and part sled dog. On our first walk she was trying to pull us up the street with the force of an entire team of sled dogs. When we got home from the walk we gave her a "indestructible dog toy" which she managed to destroy within 5 minutes. At this point we were nervous about the potential challenges we were going to be facing with training. During the 3 week training process Cam kept us updated on our pups progress. The second night we received a short video of Cam walking a well behaved Freyja. The 2 in person training sessions were well organized and covered all the commands and how to leverage the training tools used to train our pup. The experience did not end with the 3 week training because Hope2K9 has been there to answer our questions.
