Some are free after certain times so pay attention to those. Feels: It's in Downtown San Diego near a lot of corporate businesses, restaurants, and parks. It's a corner spot so you can't miss it. The space itself is small but every corner is basically maximized to be filled with cat/dog goods. A great selection of food, toys, and costumes for your furry pets. Great for a last-minute grab and go to the park or something to grab a nice gift. PRODUCTS: Playtoys (Recommend) I got a burger for the dog and a butterfly toy for the cat. The feedback I got received was great. My brother's dog loved the burger chew toy as it was soft squeaky and aesthetically accurate. The butterfly was aesthetically pleasing and also had this nice cracking sound when you ruffle it. Biscuit Snack (Recommend) The aesthetics were great with a bright blue and gold representing San Diego (I hope dogs can read) CUSTOMER SERVICE: Brenda was awesome! She was bubbly, passionate, and knowledgeable about animals. TL;DR OVERALL: 5 Stars | Awesome! I know it was a little of the right place at the right time but regardless this place was awesome! Great prices and selections, can't complain here. I wish Brenda the best with her business. ADVICE: *Great place to pick up goods for dogs and cats.

They carry an assortment of treats (including my dog's favorite) and he easily finds a backup favorite if they're out of his No-hide chews. This was the case today, and after approving of the elk chew treat at the store he carried it all the way home and wouldn't let go even throughout his paw washing. We've also found the K9 sport sac's here after having to upgrade from the one he's had as a puppy. Very useful for hiking trips and cycling!

Fanila (I hope I'm spelling that correctly!), Elizabeth and the entire team were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable and special, taking the time to let them safely see and interact with the guinea pig, hamster, chinchilla, bunny, and even a chicken. You could tell how much they genuinely care -- not just about the animals, but about the people who walk through their doors. Thank you Magnifico, Daddy Hamster, Chichi, Chili, Dave and Grace Omali In a time where we really needed a little lightness, this meant more than I can fully express. Their compassion and warmth did not go unnoticed. Thank you again for creating such a special moment for our family. We will always remember it! Carolina, Sam, Amelia and Sammy

They help bond your current rats w/ the new ones, a service I've never experienced before. I am so incredibly thankful that they are able to facilitate this, so that you don't get all the way home only to find out no one wants to be friends. They also have everything you could possibly need for your pets at amazing prices. AND they offer board and care which is so hard to find for small animals! I can't say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be back many, many more times.

It's been great for our piece of mind, too, when we have had extended hours at the office, knowing they are well looked after. Case in point, thanks to Fernando's vast experience and knowledge with dogs, he sent us photos of the one the dogs and provided advice on how to treat a bacteria build up (common in bully breeds) from getting out of hand. He's always looking out! We appreciate all the valuable services Fernando and his team have provided us, even with our dogs' very special set of needs!

I found Jess while looking around online for dog-sitting services with reactivity experience. In my initial call with Jess, I found she has a reactive dog on her own and knew how to deal with it. Our other Frenchie is a senior dog. While she is easy to care for, there are a few special instructions on potty breaks and feeding. My husband was against the idea of having someone we did not know come in and stay with our dogs. Jess scheduled an in-person meeting with us about 6 weeks before our vacation. She immediately made us both feel at ease. I am also one of those annoying helicopter dog moms who leave detailed Google Doc instructions on schedule, feeding, playtime, etc. Jess read through all of it and kept to the information I provided. She sent us daily updates, videos, and photos while we were on vacation out of the country. She was highly communicative the entire time. We even asked her to do a few simple household things which were not dog related (keep an eye on our garden and put out some items for pickup), and she took care of them. She also cared for our chameleon, giving him food and water daily. When we returned back from vacation, our dogs were happy and the house was as we left it. I was very anxious about leaving the dogs leading up to our trip but Jess made sure I did not have a worry while we were away. We highly recommend Jess!

Dr. Lafey took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and develop a clear plan. I brought one of my pups in for what was supposed to be a Cytopoint injection for allergies. However, I told them to add the Bordetella. That little change took the vet tech 30 minutes to process before they even got to me and my pup. After they finished with my pup, the vet tech came out and told me my dog will need to be tranquilized on my next visit since he is too excited for them to perform their vaccination services. They were able to give him what he needed but I told them I refuse to tranquilize my dog to get vet care and that I would find a new vet to take them to. On my previous visit they could not perform the gland expression because he needed to be tranquilized. But the groomer by my house was able to do it no problem. What I have determined is that the vet techs at Amici are not qualified to do the jobs they were hired to do. Furthermore, they have ZERO empathy for animals nor do they know how to deal with the various breeds they may experience. Jack Russell terriers are known for their rambunctious attitudes, but when the vet tech tells me to tranquilize him just because they don't know how to deal with him, tells me they need a new job and should not be working at a Veterinarian's office. My dog was petrified of that vet tech and dogs are excellent judges of a person's character. They know when someone can be trusted and when they cannot. My dog loves people, but not the vet techs at Amici or one vet in particular. I will be finding a new vet after my third and last disappointing experience.
