Laurie also provided Jenny with her own quiet room ( Jenny appreciated no dogs) and lots of TLC. When Jenny got back home, she informed me that Laurie had left treats in the pickup bag. A horrific experience with the new ownership that required a visit to my veterinarian after a week-long stay traumatized my little lady, and I chose to never use them again. That is until the (2nd) owner chose to sell the business to Graham and Kathleen - the newest owners of Puppy Love Playcare. Similar to the original owners, Kathleen and Graham also live on site. After learning of the new change in ownership, I chose to give them a call and spoke with Kathleen for quite some time. Kathleen was forthcoming and answered all of my questions. I then decided to give Puppy Love another try and am so thankful that I took the chance! My little old lady was terrified when we first pulled up and she realized where she would be staying. I'm sure she was remembering the trauma she had experienced with the previous owner. But after picking her up from that week-long stay, I couldn't have been happier. It took Kathleen and Graham a few days to get her to let down her guard and relax, but she finally did so. And she showed no signs of stress when it was time for her to come home. After such a positive experience, I chose to use Puppy Love again for a two night stay, with the same results. This time my little lady acclimated even faster and enjoyed herself even more. If you had previously used Puppy Love prior to Kathleen and Graham's becoming the new owners and are afraid to give it another try, either because of a bad experience or reading some of the horrible reviews posted during that period of time, I would suggest putting those fears aside and giving the new owners a try. Going forward this will be the only daycare or long-term boarding facility I will use for my little old lady.

Told me she needed the money for rent, check cleared the bank and issue was closed. I'm not disputing the policy in which i signed, I'm letting others know how she chose to handle. I even offered to pay for her visit, again No Refunds. I can understand if she held place in her schedule and we caused a financial hardship due to cancelling at a point weeks later. At this point she has our money and has done Nothing for it. Is this someone you can trust! In life we have all been in a similar situation, Life Happens.

Jeff's methods are effective because of his clear explanations and demonstrations. He is patient in teaching not only the dogs but the humans as well. What made the situation even more concerning was learning that the business is not insured. Initially, there was resistance to covering the vet bill, despite the injury happening under their care. Instead of showing empathy, accountability, and concern for my dog's wellbeing, I felt I was treated dismissively and unprofessionally by Kimberly throughout the process. The situation escalated further when Kimberly asked me to get out of her business saying "bye felicia" to me in a mocking and disrespectful way. I was upset because she made it seem as if it was my dog's fault for moving too much and upset that I wanted to take my dog to the vet and they cover the cost. I found her comment deeply offensive and inappropriate, especially during a conversation about my injured dog. Accidents can happen in any business, how the business responds matters. Pet owners trust groomers with their pets and transparency, professionalism, and accountability is essential. Kimberly did end up reaching out to me and apologizing for getting upset and her daughter did pay the vet bill. It's unfortunate Kimberly handled the situation the way she did. Kim is the owner and her daughter is the groomer. I will be making further complaints. This was completely unacceptable!​
