That's a huge improvement over the corporate place I used take my dog. She was terrified every time we went there. I've personally witnessed dogs getting groomed & the staff is gentle and patient. The prices are reasonable. Be aware that Saturdays book up fast. Also, just fyi pet grooming is a physically demanding job and standard tip for grooming is 15-20%; if your pet isn't well behaved (eg tries to bite, etc) please consider a bigger tip.

By awful I mean like a teen cut her with zero experience. The last time, I was 1/2 way down the block when I turned around and took her back. They gave my female shih-Tzu a mustache and a lopsided one at that. One side was a full inch longer. No one answered the door, so I called. A man came out to the parking lot, with a pair of scissors and cut the longer section, in the lot!! This is the service I got for $95 plus tip. Never again. It makes me sad that a small business doesn't really care about their customers. My husband owned a small business just 2 blocks down and we never would tray paying customers with such disregard

I took my Lhasa Apso here for his first groom after I adopted him. The owner, Ashley, was on…read morematernity leave. They told me over the phone it would be 55.00 for bath, nail trim and cut. When I came in to drop him off the man who was going to groom him changed it to 70.00 because he had some matted fur. This is a very small dog. I reluctantly agreed because I didn't want to wait to get in somewhere else. When I picked him up they had shaved him, not given him a cut. They hacked him up. When I picked my pup up he asked me if I knew what a hematoma was because he now had them on the inside of his ears from him shaving too close. He had sores on both ears where they were scraped up and also on his testicles. I had to take him to the vet who had to scrape off the scabs and put antibiotic ointment on them. I waited a few months since Ashley was on maternity leave to call and address this with her. She was very snippy and did not want to be held accountable for their actions. She said to me, "I'm looking at the record here and he was brought in with matted fur". I said, " so you're telling me it's my fault your employee hacked him up". She said, "yes, and if you wait too long to bring him in again the same thing could happen". I said, "well, I won't be bringing him back there ! " To which she said, " Good luck taking him somewhere else" and hung up on me ! These people do this for a living. They should know how to brush through mats in a dogs fur. I didn't take him in there to be shaved. They took the easy way out and instead of giving him a style cut just shaved it all off . It should have been cheaper not more expensive. And when they hacked him up the owner should have refunded my money plus the vet bill. You don't take your dog to a supposed professional to be traumatized. They should know how to do cuts, shaves, nail trims, etc without incident. I would definitely not recommend this place especially since the owner only cares about the money not the welfare of your pet

She loved all the attention and the staff were so nice and helpful! They suggested to get her inner ears trimmed because she is part cocker-spaniel which will help prevent ear infections. Bubble Puppy Playhouse Review - from Vinnie's biggest fan (me!)…read more Vinnie has been going to Bubble Puppy Playhouse since he was a puppy, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I've ever made for him. He absolutely adores the caregivers--they're loving, attentive, and treat him like family. You can tell they genuinely care about every dog that walks through the door. The pool is a wonderful bonus. Not only does it help Vinnie socialize, it keeps him healthy and active with low-impact exercise. Swimming has been amazing for his overall well-being, as was diagnosed with arthritis very young. Whenever we start driving near Bubble Puppy, his tail starts wagging. He know exactly where we are going and he gets so excited he can barely stand himself. Bubble Puppy is safe, warm, fun and run by wonderful people. Vinnie loves it!
