Vinnie has been going to Bubble Puppy Playhouse since he was a puppy, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I've ever made for him. He absolutely adores the caregivers--they're loving, attentive, and treat him like family. You can tell they genuinely care about every dog that walks through the door. The pool is a wonderful bonus. Not only does it help Vinnie socialize, it keeps him healthy and active with low-impact exercise. Swimming has been amazing for his overall well-being, as was diagnosed with arthritis very young. Whenever we start driving near Bubble Puppy, his tail starts wagging. He know exactly where we are going and he gets so excited he can barely stand himself. I discovered Bubble Puppy the summer of 2025 on social media. I have a young lab who loves to swim and socialize with other dogs, but even though we're surrounded by water, I have yet to find a place in the metro Detroit area that allows dogs to swim off leash. We live a 45 minute drive from Bubble Puppy but we make the trek to the pool once a week for open swim. Bogey and I love it and wish they would expand to the east side. The pool is clean, the people are friendly, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. If I could give 10 stars I would! read more

We came to Bubble Puppy pool over the weekend for a private puppy birthday party and had THE BEST time. Our pups weren't exactly the biggest fan of the water (they hate baths too, I should have known) but they still had a blast hanging out with all the dogs that attended. Points of note: - the pool area is very secure. There's a gated entrance with a latch at the top so dogs can't get out on their own. There's also a door to a fenced outside potty area for bathroom breaks. - Bring your suit because you're welcome to hop into the pool with them. My husband and I both did this and the water is SO warm and welcoming. Worth noting, the pool does get full of fur, just the way it goes with dogs! But they have an epic filtration system. When we got there the water was pristine, but we certainly filled it up with fur quickly! They have a very nice and clean adult bathroom for changing and drying off in, too. - Don't want to get in? That's cool too. And they have plenty of waterproof aprons to protect your clothing. Be warned though, even if you don't get in the pool you'll likely get wet. Wet dogs sure like to shake off a lot! The apron will help mitigate that, though. There's also plenty of seats around the pool for lounging and watching your pups play. - All pups get started with life jackets and the staff walks them through the process of getting in the pool so they know where the stairs are. Safety first! - They have lots of toys for the pups to play with. Squeaky toys, balls, etc, you name it. So fun! - They have plenty of towels and a couple of stalls for washing and drying your pup so they don't go out wet. Our dogs don't dry off quickly so this was very helpful as it was below freezing out when we left. DIdn't want them to get too cold. Loved every second of our experience here. We were lucky that our friends rented out the space so I can't speak to the cost or the process but I'd definitely bring our pups back for drop in open swim hours. Trenton is a bit of a haul for us from Ann Arbor but it would be worth it to do every so often to get them used to the water for sure. read more

Not Recommended, staff was rude about bad experiences. Really disappointed, not like used to be.

We moved away for a few years. Once we moved back, I looked forward to taking our dog to Bubble Puppy where we had our dogs groomed for many years. In a nutshell, when you call, you get put on hold by the young man answering the phone and he forgets about you. I called twice the day I took my dog in to have her groomed and waited over 5 minutes on two different calls with nobody picking up. I took her in at 2pm and they weren't finished until 6:30. When I walked in to check on her at 5:30, the groomer had her on the table working on her. There's no excuse for having your dog for a grooming 4 1/2 hours. Unacceptable. They said they expressed her anal glands, which I also paid for, but found out the day after that had not been done. I asked that the long hairs on her upper lip be trimmed. Wasn't done. I asked that her brows be trimmed back considerably. Wasn't done. It appeared to me there is no management anymore in this business and there's just a bunch of young kids running it. I'll go to the place in Flat Rock next time. It's too bad because I'm one of the best tippers my groomers have had when they do as I ask and treat my dog right. read more

Be sure NOT to use this place ! I fell for the false good reviews & tried them . I asked them NOT to shave my puppy so they shaved him anyways and caused so much trauma to the hair follicles that he has bald spots all over his body! couldn't even get a call back from owner so now my attorney has to take them to court. many other customers have had the same complaint & they just don't care. reviews were so bad they had to minimize their Facebook review page so new potential victims wouldn't know better ! directions were simple " please dont shave my puppy"! watch out for the false good reviews . owner has her friends leave them . read more

When I was driving by I didn't think much of it until my buddy told me about it. He said that he had been there before and knew a few people who also said that it was a great place. The staff was super friendly and the manager was very helpful. We sat down and were helped within minutes. I ordered a roast beef on rye and my girlfriend ordered a secs on the beach which both were outstanding!! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a doggone good time! read more

Bubble is a great place to take your dog. They are always willing to help you make the grooming experience better. If you ask them they will show you how to brush your dog to make grooming easier on your pet. They also work with you to train your puppy to love grooming. I love the self serve dog wash. The water is always the right temperature and the water pressure is perfect. Driers with nozzles are always available. I have two Standard Poodles and have spent hours in the self wash washing and drying and they are always nice and helpful. They are moderately priced on their services. read more

We have been taking our 2 retrievers to BP for 2 years now, they do a good job grooming them but their customer services is lacking. I have been trying to set an appointment for 3 weeks leaving messages weekly with no response what so ever. So if you are looking for a groomer for your pet and good customer service, this might not be the place you want to take them read more

We used the self-serve pet wash station today. We were new customers, and brought in our two brand new foster dogs. The dogs were quite nervous, as we had only had them for less than 12 hours. They'd already endured one bath in Ohio when we picked them up. But they still needed another bath, due to quite sad conditions in their previous home. The staff at Bubble Puppy were kind and helpful, and we really appreciate them! We will be back! read more

Very disappointed with the overall grooming service. Poorly managed and in constant chaos (as you can hear on the phone when you call). Smells bad and very dirty. I have been trying to book an appointment for several weeks now and when the day finally came they did not have my dog on the schedule. They were unwilling to correct their error. I've been goin to bubble puppy over 4 yrs and i drive 45 min.I like they work but i. I was running late maybe twice nothing over 20 min was the most I've been late they didn't do service. After 20 min late i was very upset after i fight thru traffic but i went home i give them a break for a few months I've tried to make an appointment an they say i have to pay first before the do service my dog. I feel they don't appreciate they're customers. They have poor customer service so sad cause they do great job on my dog read more

The people working in pool area were very kind to my dog. He was afraid to go in the pool and they tried to coax him and were very nice about his fear. The pool is really nice and everything is very clean. The have a lot of toys for the dogs to play with in the pool. I would recommend the Bubble Puppy pool. read more

I went and got my dog room there today. I was told that it would be $40 in the small up charge to have the nails ground. And I went to pick him up today it was $50 and he look terrible. They didn't clean his eyes or his ears and I'm afraid they didn't do his rear end. My suggestion to you is to go to champion dog groomers in Flat Rock. They're cheaper and nicer. read more
