I am blessed to have my dog walker - Annabelle. She takes pictures of my fur babies and emails me the pictures and status of the visit each and every day. If she can't do the walk, she emails me to let me know what was done on the visit (i.e, run around the backyard, etc). My neighbor notices her with the dogs and gives me compliments on her attention to the dogs on the walks. She is very impressed and lets me know. I would recommend using the Rover app instead. I made a request with this company a week prior to needing service. The day before I was leaving and still no response I went on Rover and had a same day meeting with a dog walker. Rover had more options for pricing also and you can choose who your dog walker is. 3 days into my trip this company finally responded to me stating now dog walker was available lol. I have been using Dogs Go Walking services for my cat for four years. No more. From 2012-2015, I have had nothing but rave reviews. Owners Monica and then Sara-Michelle always got back to me quickly, and sitters Patty and then Lori made sure my precious kitty was happy. They sent videos, took in the mail, and made sure my cat was taken care of. The trouble started when the company was taken over by Kathleen last year. Although I had been reassured that I would have the same sitter (Lori) that I always had, two days before I left for Thanksgiving holiday, I received an email notifying that I had a new sitter. Long story short, the words "law firm" and "lawyers" were involved. The sitter I did work with was a nice but clueless college girl--my cat was taken care of but little else was and my instructions were completely ignored. Fast forward to last week and my needing services once again for a weekend. This time, my email wasn't answered for almost 20 hours. There was yet another owner, Daniel, who sent out a hastily-typed email to the sitter in question (Paola) to just call me already. Paola did call shortly after the email was sent. She was fairly nasty and upon my telling her I was finalizing plans, she said, "Well, let me know, I need to make my plans." When I called Paola the next day, she snapped, "I'm with another client. I'll have to call you back." She never called back. Today, I received a call from Daniel, who also in a nasty tone told me he was calling to set me straight. He let me know that Paola was an excellent sitter and I had been "outwardly negative" to her. Needless to say, I was shocked. I told Daniel, as polite as possible, that I called another service when Paola failed to call me back. "Yes, I think that would be best," he said. "Don't use our services again." Dogs Go Walking used to be top notch in customer service with sitters that truly cared about animals and inexpensive prices. Sadly, I will now likely be paying more as I do not feel Daniel cares about his customers if he wants to "set them straight" because he felt one of his sitters was butthurt. Maybe one day, they will have yet another owner and I may try them again. read more

After trying this service a second time, I have to downgrade my review. Our dog walker, Jen, was excellent. However, the management of our schedule by Daniel, was unacceptable. I requested 3 visits on a Saturday and somehow Daniel cancelled one of them. Our dog was left alone for almost 15 hours. When I emailed Daniel about what happened, all I got were excuses. I never received an apology, nor an explanation. I will never use this service again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. read more

We' heard about Dogsgowalking from a coworker and decided to try it out. We've been using this service to have our dog (now dogs) walked for almost a year and couldn't be happier. Our dog walker, Tina, is AMAZING. She understands how to deliver commands effectively and even works on the ones we request while she checks on our pups. When we got the new dog, she was kind enough to come over on a Sunday to meet her and confirm she would be able to add the dog to the schedule. The automatic credit card payments are a breeze and we always get an email confirmation of payment from the company. I have used Dogs go Walking for several years on and off. I am very pleased with thewir service. I had recently required 2 surgeries with very little notice given and they were able to accomodate me. We did not know how long my stays were going to be and we just played it by ear without any extra fees. They not only care for your pets but they take in consideration you as a person as well. Steve at DogsGoWalking is an excellent caretaker for my Golden Retriever. I could tell from the moment I met Steve and saw him interact with my Golden that Steve was someone I could trust and would treat Bailey as a member of his own family, and Steve has done just that every time he cares for him. My Golden absolutely adores him and practically wags his tail off when he sees him! I can always count on Steve to be there when my pet needs walked or a place to stay overnight. Now my cat gets very lonely and each petsitter takes the time to get to know them and take care of them.
