After several disappointing experiences elsewhere we finally found our go-to grooming spot! The…read moreteam here really understands anxious pets - they gave our nervous pup special attention and offered a quiet space to help her feel comfortable. However she didn't need it and was able to roam with the other dogs at the spa. Special shout out to Vee (Vi?)! She was super attentive and took the time to understand our preferences and make sure we were on the same page about the style we wanted. When we got home, our dog was her usual playful self (at other places, she'd come home stressed and subdued). It's clear they treated her with patience and care. The results were exactly what we hoped for! We've made this our regular salon.

To be transparent, I am copying my Google review here with added replies from the owner to really paint the picture. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: There's roughly a $50 difference between a grooming that includes a trim, especially a dog that's only 12lbs, and that's too big of a difference to get it wrong. I don't have the time or patience to wait for someone to fix the poor job they have done, so it's just easier to never come back. THE OWNER'S REPLY: Thank you for your feedback. At checkout, you expressed concern about the price of the full groom, which had increased by just $10 since your dog's previous appointment in January 2025, nearly two years ago. She was groomed by the same groomer who cared for her on previous visits, and no concerns about the haircut were raised at the time. We appreciate your past visits and wish you and your dogs all the best. MY REPLY TO THAT REPLY --SENT VIA EMAIL: Instead of recognizing the bad quality of the cut, you went on the defensive and put it back on me with irrelevant talking points. Crazy. Look: I paid the stated cost, so that isn't the issue being raised. It's not getting what I asked for and the quality not matching the higher asking price is the real issue here. How are you not embarrassed? But back to your reply: it's now HOW you replied that creates a whole other issue: it's a bad look for YOU to not own the poor outcome. No apology and no offer to make it right, together with your moot response on Google, makes you look like an asshole. And what that costs you now is bad word of mouth: to ensure anyone I know with dogs stays away from your business. **** END **** FINAL THOUGHTS: Guess if you don't say anything WHILE INSIDE the store and only determine the bad quality LATER when you have more time, you're shit out of luck in the eyes of the owner. Jodi, look at your other poor reviews and how you treat people who speak up. You fucking suck at customer service. Your pride will be your downfall.

Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. You won't regret going with this business for your furry friend's grooming needs. Highly recommended. ***In the post-grooming photo of my pup, he'd had a recent vet procedure that resulted in a stitch in his forehead and a partially shaved right leg. Danielle was careful and attentive***

Okay, obviously having the grooming van come to your door is incredibly convenient. What you might…read morenot realize, it minimizes a huge amount of stress! Most groomers do multiple dogs at once--and your dog sits in a cage in the meantime. Not great. Maria is working with just one dog --yours--from start to finish--so it's way less stress for your baby. I should also mention that Maria is the best, kindest, most competent dog groomer in the DMV. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Not only will your furbaby be gorgeously groomed, you will have the peace of mind of knowing he is being cared for by 1) someone who genuinely loves dogs, and 2) is also incredibly talented and experienced. I don't trust my little guy with anyone but Maria.
