But to flat out not accept a breed without stating so on their website is just a waste of everyone's time. Just picked up the pups from Dog Works! The furbabies are already snoozing from having such a blast. We absolutely loved that they are willing and able to accommodate our dog's personalities to ensure they have the best time, and stay safe. One dog is happy go lucky, the other has a preference for dogs his size. The staff never made us feel like our dogs were too much or that they couldn't find the right play crew for them. DogWorks ranch is a great company - I have been sending my dog Henley for over 5 years, as well as sending him to their Munroe boarding facility when I go on holiday. They have consistently offered high quality care for him, they really care about the dogs and are I am very confident he is safe and happy when he goes off to daycare on the dog bus. I will definitely be coming back in the future! This was a wonderful experience for both myself and my dog! I had never boarded my dog before, but was told by both my vet and a few dog owner friends that DogWorks Ranch was the best in the Northwest. DogWorks definitely helped assuage my fears about leaving my puppy under their care for almost a week, and we were invited to come in with our dog to see how all of us felt about it. THE FACILITIES: The other dogs on site looked very happy and pleasantly tired from running around their huge fenced play areas, and there were a variety of toys in each area. There's a separate paddock for potty time, and it was clean and very well-maintained with no smell issues. The boarding area is in a converted horse stable, so dogs have plenty of room, and each dog's area is furnished with a chew-proof orthopedic Kuranda bed (the ones that kinda look like trampolines), a blanket or towel, and a toy. The adjacent bath area is large enough to accommodate larger breeds and dogs who get anxious during washing, and everything was well ventilated and well heated during the cold weather. There was no trace of bark collars or prong collars or any other questionable methods being used. Everyone on staff that we met was very kind and helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. OUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: Our dog has tummy issues, and DogWorks was very kind and understanding about adjusting mealtimes and administering his medication. If you like their Facebook page, they take pictures of every dog at least once and post them almost daily, so you can see how your dog is doing. When we came to pick up our little guy, we got a nice little packet with a doggy report card and some pictures of him playing. Because we boarded for 3+ days, our puppy got a bath before we picked him up, so he was nice and clean. When we got home he was happy and tuckered out, which is the best way to see your dog at the end of the day. He was very healthy with no trace of fleas or kennel cough, but that was unsurprising since they work with your vet beforehand to make sure there's no risk of spreading or contracting disease. PRICE: The price is a big concern for some people. Yes, this is at the higher end of the price range, but I would argue that you are paying for one of the best (if not THE best) facilities, and you will definitely get your money's worth. Plus, you'll be saving on expensive vet bills for kennel cough or whatnot in the end, so I'd say it's quite the deal :) BOTTOM LINE: This place is definitely worth the drive, the money, or any issue you could think of. Seriously consider this place as an option for your furry pal. You will not be disappointed! read more

Dog Works Ranch is a very great place to take your dog. I was so torn about leaving my beagle anywhere, when I read more about them on their website I determined that if I was going to go on vacation Dog Works Ranch would be the best place for Milo. My dog isn't much for being left alone, he plays with other dogs just fine but loves the company of humans. I called to check in on him while on vacation (I had never left him before) and they were kind enough to give me a little report on how he was doing and told me that they've just been letting Milo hang around them all day instead of having him just run around in the field. It put my mind at ease knowing that he was being taken care of by people who have the best intentions for him. They gave him a bath before he came home and when we picked Milo up they gave us a little sheet that said things he did and a picture of him with the other dogs. Since he was crated from 7pm until 7am Milo did develop a bad habit of wetting the bed after coming home but we were able to quickly get him back into our routine. He didn't come home with fleas or kennel cough. He was super excited to see us and didn't seem negatively affected by his stay at Dog Works Ranch which is why he will be going there again. I only want the best for my dog, I didn't invite him into my family to have him not receive the best kind of care. I hope this is helpful for those looking for a boarding facility. The price is fair, you do not pay extra to have your dog be out all day or for him/her to receive special attention because at Dog Works Ranch your dog is only Kenneled at night while the rest of the day he/she gets to play with other dogs, run around in the field, smell knew smells, and get to play with new adults. I actually really doubt Milo missed me much. :) Lastly, as the other person said, pricy... but not really. If I wanted the Milo to be out all day and only kenneled at night the pet hotel was much more expensive and when Milo was there before he came home with kennel cough. So don't use them in my opinion go with Dog Works Ranch. read more

We just picked up our Golden Retriever 6 month old pup from Dog Works and he was so happy when we got him. He was in a great mood and had just had a bath. He's our first family dog and I was so nervous about leaving him somewhere. Dog Works came highly recommended through a friend. They are expensive but I think worth every cent. The kennel where they stay at night is very clean and the yards where the dogs get to play are large and impeccably clean and maintained. Chad enjoyed his stay so much, he whined in the car on the way back home for a little while. We will definitely use Dog Works for future vacations. read more

Dog Works Ranch is our first choice to take our dog for boarding. We drive a long way to get there but definitely worth the travel! I am ultra paranoid of where I leave my dog and after visiting/interviewing several boarding facilities, this place won me over. I even visited one location (with many good reviews on Yelp) and noticed some dogs were wearing funny collars. I asked the person giving us the tour and she said they were shock collars (which explains why none of the dogs were barking when we walked by). Needless to say, I was mortified and my dog will never step foot in that place. There's just something about leaving your dog somewhere where he runs all day in a grass field with other dogs. My husband I and I left our dog here several times but most recently on our 2 week wedding/honeymoon. I was able to leave knowing that he wouldn't miss me and that he'd be having a blast. He even came home clean, happy, and well-behaved. read more

We love Dog Works Ranch! Our dog attends regularly for daycare (with door-to-door transportation) and we've also used the boarding services. The staff are very friendly, and so good and patient with the dogs. Our dog is an energetic young lab and the outdoor setting fits her well because she has room to run and play. Our dog loved going to Dog Works Ranch. Unfortunately one day when we dropped him off as we were driving away he bolted in front of our car once we drove a few blocks away. It turns out that he somehow got out of their area. When we brought him back the girl was running around calling his name. She told us she didn't see what happened but thought that he may have jumped the fence. We never found out if the gate didn't get latched completely or he burrowed under or over but we have a 6 foot fence surrounding our yard at home and in all the time we've had him he's never once tried to jump it. The real bummer was that when we went to pick him up from his stay they abruptly told us they would no longer accept our dog anymore and we needed to find somewhere else to go. We got the feeling they might have felt liable and a little freaked out and just wanted to get rid of the problem right away. They were unwilling to work with us or watch our dog while he was leashed. Too bad because he really loved going there. read more

I'm actually very surprised that these guys don't have any reviews yet. So I'l be first. I found this place after my less than stellar experience at another boarding kennel. And I'm glad that I found these guys. My dog loves this place. He's always so excited and clamoring to get out of the car when we pull into the driveway. This place is like any other dog ranch setup I've seen. Your dog is separated by size/personality and plays outside all day to exhaustion. At night, he has a nice little run to pass out in. Plus, they wash your dog just before you pick him/her up to boot! Dog Works Ranch is clean, well run, and have seen the same faces there for a while now. They seem to only board a small number of dogs at any given time too, so there are enough staff for the dogs. The staff are great with the dogs and seem to genuinely care for them. They all know my dog. Though I'm not sure they know know me yet... As good as it is, this place isn't perfect. First, it's pricey. You've really gotta love your dog to board him/her here (it's not that bad, but it's not cheap). Second, it's kind of hard to get ahold of them. They respond to your voicemails/emails within a day, but sometimes I just wish they would answer the phone. Dog Works Ranch is definitely the best place I've found to board my dog here in the Seattle area and I will continue to board my dog here. read more

Dog Works Ranch is the best! Christine and her team have helped us with pick up/drop off daycare, training and boarding. Our rambunctious 65lb dog was going stir crazy in our condo and Dogworks got her out of the house and in to the playfield several days a week. They pick her up and drop her off tired and clean every time. We had tried the indoor doggy daycare places and she hated it, but with DogWorks she waits to hear the bus pull up and is running to the door to greet the driver. We have done the board and train program and highly recommend it as well. Great value, great service, great people - I can't say enough! read more

Wish I had discovered this wonderful place sooner! Dog Works Ranch is hands down the best run dog facility I have had my dogs at. It is clean, well organized, and they have thought of everything. Not only were my dogs in heaven staying there, the staff was fantastic to work with. Beyond their boarding service, we opted to have our puppy stay for training. His trainer, Bethany, was wonderful!
