They are the only people I trust with my dog. They make it super easy to make appointments and last minute accommodations. The only thing is that she is ALWAYS the last dog to get cut. It doesn't matter what time I drop her off at. If I drop her off right at 7 she is still there until 4:30. This makes her anxiety 10x worse because she is away from me ALL day. It is inconvenient for me because I can't just run some errands and pick her back up a few hours later. I live too far to just pick her up that late because it is a weird time frame. It is supposed to be a first come first serve basis but it doesn't seem like that to me. Overall I love Ridge Dog Shop and will continue to come here! Timing is just inconvenient.

With the right tenderness and attention to detail, any one can do a great job. Some can do a great job quickly without sacrificing quality. Ridge Dog Shop does all of dat. Without much effort. Both times I brought my dog there, I called last minute. Now, I have a pug, so he's more manageable but still. The only reason I am not a regular is because they are farther away from where I live. Yet, I'm certain I'll be back again. You should go too. Also, tell them Lil Wayne the Pug English sent you.

Cat grooming is a scary prospect. Thank goodness Petnificent is there. My daughter's old man…read morekitty needed a bath and some of his tufty parts trimmed back. And a nail trim. Petnificent did a kind and gentle but thorough job. So glad they were there cos I just wasn't gonna do this -- I have the scars from trying to "help" previous pet cats. Reasonable prices, kept the appointment time and finished the job in about an hour. Nice people.

My daughter dropped off her dog in the morning. From the start he was not very comfortable, and…read moreshe said she didn't get a good vibe from the place, but was recommended it so she left him there. He has been groomed at PetSmart several times before, but she felt that they didn't do a good enough job with his double coat shedding. She was recommended this place. They upset him so much he got diarrhea, and when they called me the lady on the phone was exceptionally snarky about when I was taking him home because they had to give him another bath. When we got there she politely (cough, cough) reminded me again that he soiled himself at least three more times and never once said how he did otherwise, unlike the previous times where they said he was an absolute angle to groom. He wanted nothing more to do with that place and was shoving his nose through the cage slats whining to get free. When she opened the door he slinked back into the cage and when she backed off he tried to lung forward to escape his prison. This went on for several times when he finally had enough and burst past her to try to get to us through the kiddie gate. She had his harness and attempted to put it on to no avail since he wanted nothing to do with her at all. I took the harness and was easily able to get it on him despite her being right beside him. She then tried to put the bandana on him and wasn't having any luck with that either. I tried to take it so I could get it on him without traumatized further, and she scratched me several times because she was being so rough with him. He definitely did not like this person and ran out the door with my husband the moment she opened the kiddie gate. He was very traumatized by his experience, and has NEVER acted this way with his numerous visits to the PetSmart groomers. My daughter got the deshedder package and it was like they didn't even do anything to him. There's more hair in the car after being deshedded than there was before he went. The receptionist should never be allowed to rough up a dog so bad that they're willing to burst out of the front door in a panic. We will never go here again, because dogs just know bad people.

This place is a joke. They advertise mobile grooming, but my experience was anything but…read moreconvenient. About a year ago, I used Aussie Mobile Grooming and overpaid for a terrible haircut for my Chihuahua. I booked Bark & Mane thinking it was a different company, but apparently it wasn't. I scheduled my appointment for Sunday at 2:00 PM. I got home to make sure everything was ready, and instead of the groomer arriving prepared, I received a call saying she was outside and didn't know where to park. I told her I wasn't sure and asked if she had looked for a spot. She responded with an attitude, saying, "People usually tell me where to park." I was honestly confused. I asked, "What do you want me to do? I don't know where to park your truck." She then hung up on me. The appointment never happened. While I'm relieved I didn't end up paying for another poor grooming experience, it's unacceptable that a mobile grooming company expects customers to solve their parking issues. If you're operating a large grooming vehicle, figuring out where to park should be part of the job, not the customer's responsibility. If you live in the suburbs with easy parking, maybe you'll have a better experience. If you live in the city, I'd look elsewhere.

We have been customers for close to 10 years! I called to…read moremake an appointment for our cat who had been groomed by Aussie many times over the years. I informed them she did have some mats. The woman I spoke with said I would need to text a picture. I explained I would try but the mats were on the cat's chest, and she is a furry Maine Coon, so it would be pretty hard to get a good picture. She agreed and said "I know, but the owner makes us do this" . It's pretty hard to take pictures of a cat's chest. They aren't the most cooperative animals. She's also very furry so mats can't even be seen, only felt. We took a picture, but didn't even get any of the mats in the picture. I sent it and explained that. The response I got "Unfortunately those look pretty bad and tight. Due to her age and severity it would be best to have those removed at a vet's office". That's funny, because there are NO mats in this picture. Not to mention they have been grooming her and removing the same exact mats for close to 10 years. I guess they aren't qualified or trained well enough to do it anymore, so we'll be happy to take our business elsewhere, and spread the word to our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers
