On Saturday I paid $95 + $10 tip for a full service for my 13lb Shih Tzu. She had some knots & I…read moregave them permission to cut them. Even signed a form. So I didn't mind the cut. However, I did request her top knot to be kept. She had absolutely no knots there, I thoroughly combed her head & ears before leaving home for her appointment. So, I was surprised to see they had cut it. That wasn't a big deal for me because we can take or leave her top knot when she has a close cut. She didn't smell like she had a bath. She didn't smell, but she didn't smell super clean like she normally does when we get her from our usual Groomer. She just didn't smell like a freshly bathed dog. She had a nip (close) cut on each side of her ears. Overall, the cut was not great. I didn't notice how bad until the cut was until the next day. I called on Sunday to ask if the had bathed her or not. The assured me they did, if they did, it wasn't thoroughly. Her ears were not cleaned at all. They were not touched. I know this because I started cleaning then on Saturday morning then I stopped because she was going to the Groomer in a few hours. I called and canceled the appointment we made before we left the shop. Because I've paid much less for Grooming services that were ten times better than the service my dog received at Pawsitively Styled. So we will be returning to our previous Groomer, even though they are an hour away. We would love to find a Great Groomer closer to home. I hate looking because it's always hit and miss. You can't trust the pics or the good reviews. I hate that new clients are given to inexperienced Groomers. I realized they have to learn, but we should be notified and charged accordingly. The service I received at Pawsitively Styled was unacceptable. I would not return, even if they offered a free full service.

I was at my wits end trying to find a dog walker. I tried a few people before I met Seraphin and they were just OK. We are super particular about who sits with our babies. Seraphin came out for a meet and greet and stayed about two hours, she immediately connected with our dogs-all four. I knew then she was the one for us. The results spoke for themselves. However, he was quick to demand the full payment, which exceeded $2,000, without any recourse. In a nutshell, we were made to prepay a stranger we met only 20 minutes earlier, who was giving us a typical sale "shpiel" of his company being the best around. What a lie! Apparently, the love for our dog made us forego requisite due diligence and caution in choosing a dog trainer. There was no methodology as to how to train our dog most basic functions. For example, while the first trainer, Dana, kept feeding our dog treats every 2 minutes to make him compliant, the second trainer, Shan.... (forgot her full name) abandoned the "feeding" practice, but suggested to cross the street if the dog was pulling in a different direction during the walk. Contrary "techniques" between the 2 trainers were obvious. After 6 sessions and countless walks and "in-home practices" with and without trainers, our dog did not learn much (in fact, he regressed) and we gave up on Michael's Dog Training because we saw no progress. We realized we were wronged. Bottom line, we strongly do not recommend this business.

Honestly, this didn't make sense to me. It certainly does exists because, we just had our dog groomed by Lucky Dog, directly on our street in Fort Green, Brooklyn. I want to give the Brooklyn, Lucky Dog Grooming the review they deserve. However, since I don't see an alternative, I am posting this with the Freehold, NJ location. I'm hoping this can be straightened out. I was extremely happy with their services and I want the correct location and individuals to get the review they deserve. This was our first experience using Lucky Dog to bath, groom, and give Bella a "spa day." We had used another mobile grooming company twice within the last six months. I wasn't disappointed with their services but, they were extremely overpriced. Our Bella can be very dramatic and trying to bath her, cut her nails, and groom her is not easy. We have given up on attempting to get her clean at home. She gets so stressed, which makes us stressed. She also has become a bathtub an escape artist. When the Lucky Dog van arrived, Bella didn't just calmly hop in the van. She used her flair for drama. One would think she was going to "the slammer." Chris was incredibly patient with Bella and myself. She was patient, sensitive and encouraging with Bella. Once Bella was actually in the grooming van, the melodramatic behavior stopped. Bella was put at ease by Chris. Thank you Chris, you deserve a reward! When Bella was finished with her spa experience, she was not only clean and shiny (with trimmed nails, ears cleaned) she was calm and happy. We (Bella) will be a regular customer with Lucky Mobile Grooming. Next time Bella may be presented with an Oscar for best outstanding, overly dramatic dog!

Mosaic's vets and staff in Fair Haven, NJ are knowledgeable, compassionate, and very fair with their prices. I'm also writing because a recent 1‑star review appears to be misplaced. The reviewer mentions Albuquerque, New Mexico and a "Mosaic" veterinary practice in Santa Fe, which is completely unrelated to Mosaic in Fair Haven, NJ. I hope that reviewer (@Wes V.) will correct or remove their comment so it does not unfairly reflect on this practice.

I'm thankful for keeping her alive for 24 hours to get her to a competent vet who's not there to take advantage of people in emergency situations.
