Thank goodness for this place!…read more I couldn't find any local groomers who would clip the nails of our guinea pig.. Petco said no and to check with the vet.. checked with the vet who wanted us to pay a $100 wellness visit fee.. Finally, I called Anita's and found that we hit the jackpot! And only $12 and some change! It's so cozy and boutique-ish there.. staff, including Anita, were very friendly and welcoming! She definitely knows what she's doing.. those dogs were getting taken care of and my Peppa was a happy guinea when she left. I had to run out to get cash (I totally forgot she mentioned that before I came in) and when I came back, Peppa was getting the royal treatment, laying in her "diva" bed. LOL.

The mobile groomers (two different ones) were okay, but $100 is a bit much. Juno came prancing out of Anita's today and then tried to go back in! Juno looks great and, obviously, feels great, too. I don't know what they do but it definitely works for my Shih Tzu. I'm not a big one for ribbons and neither is Juno, but Anita clipped one to her collar, which was perfect. The price is reasonable - about $40 less than the mobile groomer. Anita knows her dogs! I am a huge fan!

When Jax and I arrived at the salon, Sue and her team let me walk Jax in, so I could see where my fluffy guy would be hanging out for the morning. I knew he was in great hands! I explained to Sue what we wanted & didn't want out up his first puppy visit to the salon, and I knew she was going to deliver. When I arrived to pick up Jax he was totally at ease and happy, and not to mention how stinkin' handsome he looked! We can't wait to come back for his next appointment in March. 10/10 would recommend Dog Gone Pretty, Sue and her team are the best!

We didn't have to worry, though, because Zoe and Brenda were great! Zoe sent pictures and updates every time she visited, and left a log letting us know when she came and which meds she administered. There was bad weather when we were traveling home, and Brenda checked in with us to make sure our cats were cared for if we were delayed. Overall this was a great experience. We highly recommend Beg n Bark and will use them any time we leave town!

When we needed help with an older, rescue dog who was highly reactive on walks, John helped us make walks manageable. He also taught us how our dog was thinking and what was going on with him. With our puppy, John took us through the first steps of training her, and set up a situation in which we could create a positive dynamic between her and the kids. I especially recommend John if you're struggling with issues of reactivity, need assistance with your walks, if you are a family in need of welcoming a dog into your family dynamic, and anything and everything related to raising a puppy. My furbaby's regular groomer has been out of commission for a couple of months now...something…read moreabout electrical issues so they're completely shut down. I'm super-nervous about leaving my baby with just anyone. I've heard horror stories about many places and besides, my baby is just plain nervous about going anywhere, let alone the groomers. I called this place to schedule an appointment. I sent over my dog's rabies paperwork by conveniently texting the docs to a phone number. I had forgotten to do this when I scheduled the appointment but they still took it the day of. I pulled up to Pawsitively Purrfect, very easy to get to and located on Morris Ave which is a main street in Union. Parking wasn't bad. I parked on the side street and walked right around the corner. When I brought Kelani up to the door it was locked but Adelis came to open it up and greeted me in such a friendly way. Now I expected for her to just grab my fur baby and go inside but nope, she actually stood outside on the sidewalk and allowed Kelani to sniff her and get used to her. Then once Kelani was comfortable, Adelis reached down and petted her and talked to her. Then she picked up my baby and went inside. I came to pick up Kelani a couple of hours later and she looked so cute. She smelled fresh and had a pink bow in her hair but the best part was that Adelis had trimmed the hair under her chin so meticulously and perfectly. My regular groomer doesn't even do a job that good. I paid $84 on my card and tipped her. She so deserved it. I'm so pleased with this place. I've already scheduled Kelani's appointment for next time. Highly recommend.

Her reviews were all positive and consistent in their comments, and her rates were listed and extremely reasonable. Karin responded to my inquiry within an hour and we had a scheduled phone call that same evening. She came to our home the next night. When she arrived, she quietly observed our new puppy and our nine-year-old dog, and then gave us detailed instructions on what she wanted us to do. She also had us try some of those instructions while she was still there to guide us. At the end of the visit, we scheduled another session for two weeks from that date. Things are already so much better in our home. Karin got right to the root of our puppy's issues and quickly came up with a plan for us to execute. She is a great communicator and just made everything seem doable. Most importantly, our dogs responded to her immediately. She clearly understands dogs and likes them. It was easy to see that, for her, it was about them as individuals, and not about a set method that she adheres to. From our first conversation, I could see that Karin loves what she does. She is curious, observant, and determined to find a way to help her clients and their dogs to understand each other better and to build relationships based on trust and consistency. She just calms the chaos that having a puppy can sometimes lead to! Do not hesitate to turn to her.
