Doo Diligence specializes in pet waste removal, dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight care. Drop-ins and overnight visits are not just for dogs and cats. We are happy to care for other pets in your home, including exotic and less traditional animals.
The business is owned by a Monmouth County resident who had her first dog at age nine and brings about three years of experience caring for pets through Rover and Wag, including time at a daycare and boarding facility. The staff has over ten years of animal care experience, working at two daycare and boarding facilities as well as a veterinary clinic.
What sets us apart is our judgment-free approach. While we care for pets like they are our own, we also connect with their human parents. We understand that life can get hectic and there is no reason to feel judged for needing a helping hand. What matters is that you care enough to find someone you can trust to step in when you cannot, and that is exactly what we are here for.
History
Established in 2025.
After living in Maryland for a few years, I moved back to Monmouth County, where I grew up. While navigating the job market, I started doing Rover visits and realized I wanted to turn my passion for animal care into something more. What began as a service focused on pet waste removal soon expanded to dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, and more.
Shortly after forming my LLC, my childhood dog Zoey passed away. Expanding Doo Diligence became a meaningful way to honor her memory while continuing to care for pets in the community.
Meet the Business Owner: Bethany D.
I started Doo Diligence out of my love for both animals and people. I understand that there are countless reasons someone might need help with their pets. Maybe you work full time, want to go on vacation, have a physical disability or chronic pain, are a new parent, or just need a little extra support. Whatever the reason, I enjoy making pet owners’ lives easier.
When I meet the dogs and spend time with them, especially my recurring clients, I treat them like my own. What began as an effort to expand my Rover visits grew into Doo Diligence, in part to honor the memory of my childhood dog, Zoey.
