A few moments later, they called to tell me that after further examination, my dog still had a few fleas and they would give him another bath! No extra charge ! Angie, Taylor and Lee are so very special, you can tell it is not just a job, but a mission. For Christmass, my dog got free dog treats. The warm, loving and caring atmosphere is so pleasant that when my puppy and I leave, we both feel refreshed. The owners and staff call me if I forget my weekly apointment, let me know if there is anything going on with my dog and just are the most genuinely nicest people that I have ever met. The dogs are placed in hotel type rooms, with TV's! They are given a message and treated with love and care. All of the staff no Mr. Bobo Head (my puppy) by name and I can tell that they guinely care about him. I have so many great stories about this place, but you have to expereince it for yourself. Please give them a try, you will not regret it!

PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET…read more I had an absolutely horrible experience at this grooming salon. From the moment I arrived, things felt off. There was no one at the front, and eventually a man--not in uniform and looking nothing like an employee--walked in and took my dog. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I have a fluffy Maltipoo and I specifically asked for a light trim, nothing major. My appointment was at 11:30 AM, and by 3 PM I hadn't heard anything, so I called. The person on the phone referred to my dog as "the gray dog"--not even by name--and said he'd be ready in 30 minutes. When I finally picked up my dog, I was shocked. They had shaved him down almost completely--the total opposite of what I asked. I was charged $81 for a completely unacceptable groom. To make matters worse, once I got to the car I realized his nails hadn't even been cut. The same random guy said "my bad, I forgot" and took him back. When he returned, my dog's nails still looked untouched--he was scratching and cutting up my car seats. Once home, my dog was visibly depressed. Upon further inspection, I noticed a huge gash near his testicles. They had cut him badly, and I later found multiple small cuts all over him, likely from scissors or clippers. This led to a $500 emergency vet visit. This wasn't just a bad grooming job--this was neglect and animal cruelty. If you truly care about your pet, DO NOT bring them here. I would never want another dog to go through what mine did.

TLDR: Our dog was attacked and they claim that he scratched himself. First photo is a pic from them…read moreand the rest are after the area was shaved for veterinary care. Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I AM GRATEFUL I FOUND FURESH!! I have taken our doodles here several times already for the past two years and I have recommended them to my friends and colleagues as well. The whole team does a great job with bath and grooming for our two 75lb doodles and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place and again I am so glad I found them two years ago. Grooming is not our doodles favorite activity but they don't mind coming here because the staff is friendly and welcoming. The prices may have gone up over the past two years but it's understandable due to inflation and of course it is a lot of work to do a full groom for both of our 75lb doodles. We now pay around $340 for both of our 75lb doodles for bath & full groom with teeth brushing, anal cleaning, ear cleaning, and tip. They have paid street parking but we usually just drop off and pick up the dogs quickly so we just park in front of the store and do that. Overall, I am so happy and grateful that I found Furesh!!
