Fantastic meal, and exactly what you would expect if you've ever been to a Doe's. They keep it simple, and do simple incredibly well. The menu is basic. The steaks are always huge and perfectly cooked. Had the fried shrimp as well for an appetizer and they were great...nice size, lightly battered. Service is outstanding. The girls took great care of us. Really enjoyed the vibe of this Doe's in particular, and you can't beat the location.

Ribeye and broiled shrimp

A great steak place! I had the ribeye with broiled shrimp. Both were excellent! Sky at the bar was awesome and Gracie, our waitress was top-notch! I'm so glad this place was recommended. We were staying in nearby Springdale for work and one of the local guys tipped us on this gem!

Favorite place to eat in Fayetteville. On the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Not the best steak I've ever had, but still solid. Fries and biscuits are top tier. Good service with a friendly crew.

Must try this wine

First time at Doe's. Will not be the last. The steak was amazing. Cooked perfectly to the temperature you like. No need for any steak sauces, they melt in your mouth. Our waitress, Carley, was so nice and friendly. Turns out she has only been there 2 weeks but already so helpful.

Porterhouse- best of both worlds!

Had dinner here on a weeknight with a couple of longtime friends. Doe's on Dickson is always buzzing with activity, even on an otherwise uneventful weeknight. We started out with some of their famous tamales and chili. They are delicious - smother some chili and some hot sauce on them - hard to beat. Just don't eat too many or you'll be taking steak home for breakfast. Simple salad with an olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic dressing is both pleasant and somewhat palate cleansing ahead of the main show. Bring on the meats! Filets, porterhouses, t-bones, there's a cut for everyone. Choose based on your appetite or meat preference. I like them all. The Doe's filet is one of the most tender I have ever had. The porterhouse, the best of both worlds - a tender filet on one side, and a more flavorful strip on the other. A t-bone, similar to a porterhouse, but just a sliver of filet. They also serve fries or boiled potatoes with the steak. Small, two-bite sized fried bread are too tempting to resist. Drizzle some honey on it, and you will pop 3-4 in your mouth before you know it. The service is always great - drinks are filled and the food timing is just right. Doe's is always a treat. Just bring your appetite and your wallet!

Doe's is an amazing hidden gem in Fayetteville full of history and sports memorabilia. They make amazing tamales, soak salads, and a damn good steak. Cooked to perfection medium rare, so juicy and tinder. I have been eating here for 25 years since I was a little kid. Definitely best steak in northwest Arkansas. Only competition is Herman's.

Reviews are mixed. Many praise the perfectly cooked steaks, popular tamales, and casual, inviting atmosphere. Standout sides like fries and bread bites are also noted.

We just got off the plane from Phoenix to explore the great state of Arkansas and came across what…read morewe can say was 100 percent southern hospitality. Our server Anna was spectacular. She surprised us with a meal that brought all the southern comfort to the table. We had ribs and chicken, mac & cheese, and an amazing flaming queso. She recommended topping it off with the mini chocolate mess, which took awhile to get all the gooey chocolate off the sides of the dish. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable and I still can't say enough about the staff. We had several of the servers stop by our table and give us their advice on what we needed to see while we were visiting. Defiantly a place we would visit again. Thanks Anna, Will and all our new southern friends!

I had a bowl of potato soup to start and it was the most flavorful I've had. We ordered from the lunch menu. The Jambalaya cajun pasta was spicy. I loved the Prima Chicken pasta! The lunch portion was small, I could of ate more. Definitely don't order the bbq pizza. Plain with not a lot of flavor. Very surprising for this nice of restaurant. We will remember this place on our next visit. Really good waiter so definitely worth eating here. Place has personality.

Food: Very good, but overpriced, comparable to same offerings available at other restaurants…read more Service: Excellent! The primary hostess was very accommodating and apologetic for the long wait after we were seated. Our server was very thoughtful, and was very informed about the food preparation. Ambiance: This is what keeps me from rating Gaskins a five star restaurant. It was so loud we were literally yelling at one another to try to carry on a conversation. We, three of us, were so looking forward to our dinner, but it was almost impossible to enjoy because of the difficulty we had communicating with one another.

It was our anniversary and first time going to Gaskins. Did not disappoint! Was a great experience!…read moreBar tenders spot in. Made me a Smokey manhattan and they knew to stir not shake. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious. For dinner I had the prime rib, baked potato and side of mushrooms, I ordered medium rare and it was perfect! Although, I probably only ate about 5 oz and was 14oz cut. My husband ordered the pork chop dinner and he said delicious and tender. The bread was an add on but so worth it. Staff was friendly and our waiter, Dan was very knowledgeable on the wine list. We even had the opportunity to meet the owner Mr. Jones. Bert first name I think. They gave us a complimentary dessert for our occasion. Pistachio Tiramasu. Delicious. Ambience a plus! They are opening an Italian restaurant in two weeks. Can't wait! We will for sure be back!
