Dr Ouano is one of those specialist and came highly recommended by his peers in other parts of the country . I drive 5 hours to and from my appointments because he's that good, I trust him with my sight because my sight is everything to me. Intelligent, classy and very technically capable. Was a patient for a couple of years. A technician at a routine exam told me there was an issue they…read morewanted to explore further. I had to schedule a second exam, take time off of work, and return. They put me on a machine, one that I had already been on, which took 5 minutes. The doctor, who was with me for about 2 minutes ( most of which was spent talking about non vision niceties) to review the chart and let me know there was nothing wrong with my eyes and the test was merely to make sure. When I got the bill, which I got because I was now a "patient " and not a routine eye exam, I paid it but questioned the need for the second appointment as it could have been handled at the first appointment. Shortly thereafter I got a nice letter telling me they no longer wanted me as a patient. Lesson learned. Don't question the technician or the doctor or the bill. I don't buy my glasses there as they are many times the price of other optometrists anyway.
