I've been going to this place for years on and off they used to actually have doctors there which now they don't.. you do your doctor exam over a Skype. Got to my appointment they already had somebody back there that had the same name as I did they confuse the appointments and rescheduled somebody else with my name on my day.. I already waited several months for the appointment I had to cancel my prior because I had had covid and it takes months to get in this place well they rescheduled me again after they mistakenly took the wrong person back and then months later when my appointment came up I had had covid again they told me to call and reschedule when I was better when I did I was told by a very rude manager that I was not welcome there anymore because I have missed too many appointments you can't help it if you're sick and then rescheduling the wrong person had nothing to do with my incompetence it was theirs.. found a new eye doctor things were good I care center continually calls me weekly asking me am I ready to set up my yearly eye appointment.. I keep asking them to take me off their call list because they've told me I'm not welcome back but apparently they're not even competent enough to even be able to take a number off the list I've called back and talked to their manager today told her who I was she said she's the one that told me I couldn't come back in the first place and called me a liar and told me that there was no way that they were calling me trying to set appointments up very rude lady I just had to call their corporate office and have them take my name off their list and hopefully they will investigate this place and do something about the just blatant and confidence and rudeness of the people that are working there I mean it's an actual eye doctor center that doesn't even have an eye doctor in it... People by The groves are leaving this place and I'm assuming that's why they're calling weekly trying to get people to come back... This is an upper management problem that is dwindling down to just their workers because obviously if their management does not know how to run the store properly then you're going to have them competent workers and that is exactly what's going on because of the management that I spoke to could have cared less she was more interested in making sure that she could accuse me of lying I don't know why I would take them time out of my day to call and complain about a phone call but never happened to a place that I haven't even been thinking about in months doesn't make a lot of sense to me but beware do not go here anywhere else would be better read more

We recently changed our eye care insurance and chose the Eye Care Center from the list. What a great choice we made! Dr. MacDonald and Sonjia took care of me and I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism as well as kindness. I had been receiving my eye exams elsewhere here in Jacksonville for the past 17 years but decided to change (it is close to my work). I don't believe I have ever had such a complete eye exam done before. I arrived on time and they took me back for my exam on time. No waiting in the waiting room endlessly. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. All the staff helped me with options that were budget friendly and never made me feel bad for not having insurance. They offered me different options for my low budget and said if I needed something they would be able possibly work with me on the pricing! Very professional and thorough eye exam, the doctor was honest that my prescription had not changed much since my last visit. I elected not to get new glasses and felt no pressure to do so.
