So they lost my husbands blood work. He got it done from and outside lab from the practice because…read morethey couldn't get his blood. When we called and asked about it, they couldn't find it and made US track it down. We did and eventually got the results. I thought maybe it was just a one time mistake, but did not like how my husband and I had to do the dirty work for them. Next time when I got blood work done, they lost it again. They couldn't get my blood (I don't know how, I literally get told by every person who has taken my blood how easy my veins are), so I had to go to the lab next door. The woman who took my blood at the lab (easily, even after the person at the office blew my veins) said that they have been sending people over a lot to the lab because they can't get blood draws on people. I was waiting and waiting for my results. I eventually called and they said they could not find the results, they were lost. They said we don't know how to help you because we don't know where they are. I suggested the simple solution of calling the lab to find out the results (why would I have to tell them to do that?) They said ok, and I never got a call back. I then finally decided to do the dirty work for them, again. I finally get the results and low and behold, my blood work shows that I am prediabetic! I should have been being treated! I had to have another Dr interperet the results for me and I got started on meds to help my condition. I have even had other problems believe it or not besides this that are pretty bad, like they wouldn't approve a brain MRI for me after I went temporarily blind in my one eye. I saw my neurologist for this who is not in my insurance plan because I have been going to him for years and I love him. Insurance wouldn't approve it through him because he is not in the plan, so after seeing him for the problem he called and spoke with this office and asked if they would approve a brain MRI for me, and they said they would not without seeing me, so I made an appointment and got an exam, and they STILL said no because I did not see them initially for the problem! What?!? My neurologist had to call them and threaten to report them, so THEN they gave me a script. I will NEVER go back to this place. Its a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. They don't have the patients well-being in mind, it's like a circus over there.

Was in search of new doctor for my insurance had changed this is where I was directed. The building…read moreitself is horrendously kept then you go to the suite which is even worse. There are no restrooms in the back area so when you need to provide a specimen, you are sent back to the waiting room and then must march past all the patients holding your cup of urine. The lab for blood draws feels like your in a closet and once I was directed to the exam room I was appalled. Ceiling tiles removed, electrical wires hanging out, a tool box on the floor, ladder leaned up against the wall.... Awful for a medical exam room. Then the doctor came in.... Stout little Asian (http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-alicia-camacho-3hk3c) woman who slammed (yes, slammed!) the door shut. I do believe I mentioned to her "Wow! That was abrupt." Then literally she barked at me "why are you here!?" I stated I received new insurance & was looking to establish myself with a practice". "WHAT?" She screams again, to which I repeat self. Exam complete, weeks later I had my blood worked faxed to my office- I work in radiology and feel our company sets the standard for quality patient care, and I sought out another doctor to treat me a little more humanely. Bedside manner - 0 office setting and aesthetics -00 awful in every way!

The office staff is incredibly unprofessional. The assistants don't tell you who they are, if you call there, it's hard to get anyone on the phone. I called for results several times and I have to wait for them to be there from lunch or in the office, as they leave early. I paid cash for my appointment and waited on blood results. They called and left messages on my phone leaving no indication of the blood results. On the day I could reach them, I was put on hold for 20 minutes before someone would help me... and the nurse? or assistant? Lori... did not want to tell me my results, it was like pulling teeth. I had to ask questions and she hesitantly answered them. For example, I asked if my vitamin D levels were on track now. Lori told me my numbers were a little lower than what they should be and she said the Dr. said I should take a vitamin D supplement over the counter. Meanwhile... she was ready to end the call with, "your results are ready upfront at the desk". Then Lori said.. "oh why were you taking something for it"? I said, "yes, Dr. Darrow gave me a vitamin D script" that ran out. Also, when you initially go into the office, the girls behind the desk don't even acknowledge that you are there unless you say something to them. I am going to find a place that cares for and values their patients. This place, to me, is unacceptable... even if the Dr. is good. Just my opinion.
