The office staff is incredibly unprofessional. The assistants don't tell you who they are, if you call there, it's hard to get anyone on the phone. I called for results several times and I have to wait for them to be there from lunch or in the office, as they leave early. I paid cash for my appointment and waited on blood results. They called and left messages on my phone leaving no indication of the blood results. On the day I could reach them, I was put on hold for 20 minutes before someone would help me... and the nurse? or assistant? Lori... did not want to tell me my results, it was like pulling teeth. I had to ask questions and she hesitantly answered them. For example, I asked if my vitamin D levels were on track now. Lori told me my numbers were a little lower than what they should be and she said the Dr. said I should take a vitamin D supplement over the counter. Meanwhile... she was ready to end the call with, "your results are ready upfront at the desk". Then Lori said.. "oh why were you taking something for it"? I said, "yes, Dr. Darrow gave me a vitamin D script" that ran out. Also, when you initially go into the office, the girls behind the desk don't even acknowledge that you are there unless you say something to them. I am going to find a place that cares for and values their patients. This place, to me, is unacceptable... even if the Dr. is good. Just my opinion.

When I went for my visit I was transferring between 2 out of state insurances who both were denying that they were responsible for the payment of my exam. Months later Aman calls me and explains that she has been fighting these insurance companies for months on my behalf. Over the next 3/4 months her and I went back and forth with these other companies arguing over who was responsible for the payment plans; she provided all of the documents I needed to rightfully dispute this with lawyers involved. Due to her records, her diligence when it came to an absolute stranger we somehow beat TWO huge insurance companies and I rightfully didn't have to pay for the exam. It is nice to finally see someone who doesn't just take the easy way out. She could've argued with me that I have to pay because the insurance company says so. Instead she helped out over the course of almost a year despite never meeting me. I owe you Aman, thank you for all your help! Thank you to Dr. Lewandoski's office for being so great not only when it came to my medical recommendations, but also the administration practices.

The only reason she got 4 stars is you will wait FORVER. Be prepared. For me it is worth it. I waited 2 hours to see her but she spent a good hour with me. She never makes you feel rushed. If you can sit there and not get frustrated waiting, she is well worth the wait. Don't be shy. she will look over every inch of your naked body and prod and poke but you will know you are in great hands and if she says you are OK and healthy, you are.

Update: Brought new paperwork from the company handling my leave. Was told "under no circumstances will the doctor fill out new forms." The doctor is the one that messed up the paperwork and the company handling my leave needs it filled out correctly. So done with this office. Been on leave for suspected COVID. Sent in paperwork multiple times to get filled out for work. After 3 attempts, they still got it wrong and I'm still not getting paid. They uploaded a blank document instead of my return to work letter. I went to the office to correct everything and explain that I could lose my job if it's incorrect. I was told by the office manager to "retain an attorney if I get fired." Plus my doctor is away until next week and no other doctors will help me. That's when I decided to change my Cardiologist to Dr. Nick, he would not clear me unless I had the proper testing done. The results of that test showed I could have had a heart attack / or worse do to major blockages in my heart..blockages I was unaware of.. They would only do telehealth (virtual) appointments and severely misdiagnosed her. She died days later from sepsis and what the hospital believes was acute myeloid leukemia.
