Told him we were good for the night. He quickly determine the problem was the gas control valve and it's sensor's! But due to the age of our furnace of 35 plus years and it was a no longer offered 65% efficiency furnace style that they no longer make. They could replace the part for about $1200. But due to the age we would be throwing good money down a deep hole. With it's age something else would go soon. They offered a 85% or 95% Efficiency furnaces for $$$$. WOW! Call two other HVAC companies for a second and third opinions. They both had the same diagnosis and recommendations for getting a new furnace! Got bids from all three. BRET TURNER Beat the other 2 by over a $1000 on either the 85% or 95%. We went with the 95% furance. Bret's price beat the price of of the competitors by over $1000. Infact the price we paid for the 95% furance was less then the 85% one from the closest competitor price. Very happy with the work they did! Cleaned up as they worked and the end of the day eveyday. Thought it might take four or five days. They were done in three days

8/3/20 Brent Turner heating and cooling Services was…read morereferred to us by a friend who had a great experience with him.He sent one of his guys out to evaluate our system in our home,his worker by the name of Sean was great! After Sean expected the unit and called his boss Bret to explain the issue.Bret ensured us that we will be taken care of within a week and that we needed to replacement part that had went out in the unit,and the company didn't carry the part, that it would take 3 to 5 business days to come in so we said ok we'll wait patiently even with the 105 degree heat. Because we were pleased how timely his team specifically Sean responded to our call. All of a sudden mentally something went terribly wrong with Bret.The weekend had passed, and it was time for Brent and his worker to come back out and repair the unit proximally 1 week.remember we're still suffering and 105 degree heat with no AC working. He instanly mentally snapped and went off on my husband over the telephone,I thought how scary? (Mental illness is so real folks,get help if you need it, please!!) He exclaims to my husband that he have never had this issue with a customer and we were the only customer with this particular issue which I find to be a complete lie and a very interesting comment!!!! And so what if you didn't,Figure it out Bret your suppose to be a licensed professional contractor, what a complete waste of our time. Bret continued to rant histerically, my husband said he sounded drunk and was really agitated, not to mention this was at 8:00a.m. in the morning on 8/3/20 Monday morning! Who starts a day off as a professional business owner with a California Contractors license offering a service for people with such a nasty, unprofessional,angry attitude so early in the a.m. morning hour?We were shocked and so dissatisfied!!!!!! We felt violated!!!! He yells at my husband how he could not find our address, not to mention doesn't most people have navigation today? and we gave him the exact address and city where we lived, which his office is only about 10 minutes away from where we live. Sham on you Bret!You should not drink on the job,totally Unprofessional!!!!! My husband said he have never experienced anything like this from a business before in his entire 49 years of living,He snapped on a customer All because he failed to do the job professionally. Bret told my husband that he was not fixing our air conditioner that we were going to have to be in the heat. He's handled everything from small fixes to bigger electrical projects for us and every time the work has been done carefully and correctly. When my husband and I bought our home, the inspection report flagged a long list of electrical issues. It was pretty overwhelming. Gary sat down and went through the report line by line with us and helped us understand what actually needed to be done versus what wasn't urgent. He made the whole process feel manageable and got our home's electrical wiring back in safe working order. He also checked and repaired all outlets/switches throughout the house. Other projects he's done for us: - Installed light fixtures and ceiling fans in five different rooms - Replaced and properly relocated smoke detectors to meet code - Installed outdoor light fixtures and photocell sensors - Ran electrical and installed backyard string lights - Created new wall outlets to hide behind our wall-mounted TV in the living room - Routed ethernet cables through the attic to go to different rooms in our house to have a hard-wired connection Those are just a few examples as there have been plenty of other projects over the years. What we appreciate most about Gary is that he is thorough and trustworthy. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure everything is done right. Unfortunately, my tenants contacted me last week (Feb 2019) and told me the garbage disposal had stopped working. I really enjoyed Raymond's work so I contacted him again. He was slower to respond this time. It took him 2 days and I had to send a reminder message. He said he could stop by after 1pm the following day so I arranged to have a tenant home for him. Later that evening my tenant said he never showed up. I followed up and he apologized. He said he'd work around their schedule so I gave him a few times they would be available. He never responded. I followed up 2 days later and still no response. The 2 stars is only because my first experience was pleasant, but I'm very disappointed in his lack of response and professionalism.
