I went here a few years ago because I broke my toe and wanted to get it x-rayed to make sure that it was "set" properly since I had to do it myself when it happened. The x-ray tech was was pleasant as she was the person that entered my information into the computer. She then took me to a room where I waited for the doctor. When he came in, he looked at my toe, agreed that it was broken and said that I didn't need x-rays, then walked out of the room. After a minute or two, he came back and looked at me, so I asked if he was going to wheel me back out in the wheelchair since I could barely walk. He did push me out to the lobby and returned to flirting with the x-ray tech. I should have asked for my co-pay back, but I was so mad that I just left. Hopefully they have gotten rid of him and have someone better now! read more

Long story short: DOCCS told me I didn't have any fractures when I actually did. 2 months later and I just found out. I fell on my arm back in March and immediately got it checked to see if I had any fractures. They took X Rays and Dr. Marumoto specifically told me "good news, there are no fractures". He then told me to merely ice it and keep it in a sling. They discharged me without giving me papers, which I found odd. My range of motion has never recovered and weight bearing activities still hurt, so I went back to pick up an X-ray copy for my orthopedic appointment this week. I read the paper and it turns out I had a radial fracture this entire time. Who knows what damage may have resulted from 2 months on inadequate treatment; I believed my elbow was sprained the entire time and treated it accordingly. Stay away, I had a Military C&P exam with Nurse Practitioner Rebecca Clark. She didn't have the DBQ pulled up nor take any notes on my symptoms or history of the disability. When I inquired that I have been diagnosed with a disability and it's already documented with the VA, that she needs to update the DBQ for current conditions, when she reluctantly opened the DBQ, she would ask the questions as required but she would click the wrong boxes for certain questions. For example, does the patient experience frequent headaches/migraines? I would tell her yes and show her my migraine log. But she would click the answer "No" and quickly go to the next page, when I asked that I saw her click "No" versus "Yes", she said that it was a mistake and that she would correct it after the appointment. Needless to say, when the VA reviewed the DBQ, I was denied any increases since my symptoms have not drastically improved vice the reality that they have diminished. NP Rebecca Clark did this for several of my C&P exams and is only working with the VA to ensure she receives clients because she keeps denying all evidence given to her. read more

Honestly do not visit this place. As a nurse I am extremely sad on how I was treated at this facility. I had the decency to call and ask if I could come in at 8:30PM because they closed at 9:00PM. Once I arrived I paid $120, waited patiently for my turn, and then the blonde nurse (can not recall her name) began taking my vitals and asking questions. At some point she stated in a rude tone: " I'll ask the questions and you answer so I can get out of here". I was surprised at how she spoke to me considering I'm a nurse to and never have I treated a patient like shit. In less than 5 minutes she apologized stating, "It's a long day, many patients showed late". I don't have nothing to do with that. You chose the wrong field and I feel sorry for your patients. Then after making me feel like crap, she forgot to say, "Thank you for your military service," so as I am pretty much in the lobby to walk out she joins me in the hallway and says to me, "Oh yeah, thank you for your military service." And then then next day I complain to my VSO rep so he looks up my C&P results and see I was denied. She did not even fill out the C&P form in the exam room, she just kept scrolling up and down like she was lost. Never even put my responses in. What a joke. I am appealing this decision. I went there yesterday for throat pain. No, not soreness, PAIN! Dr. said my throat was "on fire" after looking at it & sent me home with nothing more than antibiotics. No blood test, no nothing. He also said I had Emphysema which cannot be diagnosed in 5 minutes. Ended up in the ER that night. Got blood tests, a cat scan, muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories, and morphine. Yes, morphine. I was in THAT MUCH PAIN which was completely ignored at DOCCS. Dx at ER was an extremely impinged muscle. Also, the Dr. at the ER. saw ZERO redness in my throat & my WBC came back perfect. If I had an infection my WBC would be elevated. Sent home with anti-inflammatories & muscle relaxers. Told to also use a heating pad. The staff at DOCCS will not listen to you and they won't help you with your ACTUAL issue but will just make stuff up on the spot to get you out of there. read more

Well, I had an appointment at 3:45. I arrived early 3:30 because I had an insurance change. At 4:15, I still had not been checked in. No one had asked for my insurance, my co pay nothing. I went to the window, now it's closer to 4:20. All four ladies working behind the glass refused to look at me. So I finally asked to reschedule. A lady sat down and said she would and then just sat there working on her computer. So I again had to ask who would be rescheduling my appointment? The worst doctor I've ever seen in my more than 50 years!!! I don't even know her name but she is the only doctor in the building. Whatever you do, don't go!!!! No blood test or any test of any kind, no records from my previous doctor from out of state, nothing but a list of meds I take. Out of 8 meds she decided she would only call in 3 of them! I can't complain about the staff at the facility needs some work. First impression while walking in was that it looked more like a strip club and then a medical facility. Second impression was that the chairs were so dirty it could have been a strip club. Stained all the wrong places. I half expected for someone to announce it over the intercom, "next up is Jeezabell all the way from Titusville". Once we got back to the second waiting room, I noticed that there were bare electrical outlets. The fake wood flooring was peeling a part which huge gaps. It look like the place was put together by Helen Keller. The staff was nice and courteous. They moved as quick as possible and were professional . I would give this place negative stars if possible. Waited over 3 hours to be seen by a doctor before demanding my money back. Was taken back from the waiting room, to be put into another waiting room with others after they took vitals. After 3 hours of waiting, I had enough. They kept taking others that came in well after me, before me. Meanwhile in severe pain after an injury, I was left in this dirty second waiting room they stuck me and other patients in. When they came in to get another patient who was suppose to be after me, I asked why I wasn't being put in a room but others that came in after me were. The woman who took my vitals told me she forgot about me. I then asked how much longer before I was seen and they still were not able to give me a time frame on when I would be seen even after 3 hours. I immediately wanted my money refunded. They are EXTREMELY understaffed and very unprofessional. Staff talking about quitting because she has rent to pay when they were discussing the schedule in front of patients. This place is very unclean and disorganized. Everything looks like it is just thrown together. Very unprofessional establishment. 100% would NOT recommend. My husband has been a patient for 2 years and always has to wait at least an hour before being seen. My husband had an appointment today and was paying with a debit card, which has plenty of money in the account. It declined on both of our accounts. The receptionist could not understand what was happening, saying it had to be the card, however he gave them 2 different cards from 2 different banks. Since he couldn't pay the $30 in cash (didn't have cash on him), they would not see him. Again, been a patient for over 2 years and was seeing the doctor every 2 months to monitor blood work and health issues. Doctors bedside manner is also unprofessional. Saying things like "you need to lose 30 lbs, don't you want to live, you are going to die if you don't lose weight". He is not obese, sure 30 lbs, but asking him if he wants to die, that is overboard. Let alone the office staff is incompetent. They charged my daughter twice for one visit, so I asked them to just refund the card that it was paid on... they couldn't do that, and they would have to write a check and it was going to take 90 days for my refund. read more

It's like playing Russian Roulette, but with doctors. (Consumer/patient: use at your own risk.) Yeah, those are some pretty intense words to use in a review, especially when one is reviewing an independent professional business in a relatively small town. This isn't exactly a review of the entire clinic, as I have only had one experience with one "doctor" (note the quotation marks), one Sahay Sangita who was on duty on Saturday, June 16. (Note, the Sangita that is on my paperwork looks very different than the one that is in the photos - I saw an older Indian man who did not introduce himself so am assuming that is his name.) I had gone in that Saturday morning as an old back injury from 15 years ago flared up for the first time in about 5 years. I could barely move, localized pain in thoracic region (that's mid-back for you laymen) due to a bulging disc, and from previous experiences this was not an ER-worthy visit. (Note: Apparently in towns smaller than Dallas or Seattle, this type of flareup is ER-worthy after all.) My main reason for going was xrays and a cortisone shot, as muscle relaxers would not work, so I could follow up with my PCP that Monday. No drugs, I just needed the pain to stop, or get reduced to a dull roar for 36 hours. I noted on the intake paperwork the issue, and also told the medical assistant when she took vitals that this was a flareup of an old injury. Sidenote: Receptionist charged me a $20 copay on my new insurance, which I paid out of desperation, however upon speaking to my plan's rep, I have a zero dollar copay on everything, as well as a zero dollar deductable. But I digress. After 47 minutes of waiting, the "doctor" finally came in, took one look at me, and said that it is heartburn, not a backache, and if I stop smoking right then and there I would feel better. (Wait, what?) When I asked him about imaging, he said it was not necessary as it was "all in my head" and again, that it was actually heartburn, all the while stressing that he did not prescribe narcotics which I never asked for. So he prescribed me a month's supply of glorified Prilosec and to apparently appease my inner drug fiend, ten Flexeral (a muscle relaxer that is the pain relieving equivalent of a bottle of Flintstone Vitamins). Needless to say, the next morning (like 4am), I ended up in the ER where they treated my imaginary backache with cortisteroid shots, and then referred me to a local spinal specialist... who is in the process of scheduling my disc surgery as I type this. So, moral of the story? I really can't think of one right now, however, if the rest of the physician staff is like Sangita (?), then I'd say go ahead and bypass DOCCS on Wickham, and keep driving a couple of miles until you can get to the emergency room. To quote Forrest Gump, that's all I have to say about that. read more

I would give this clinic zero stars if that was an option. I went in yesterday because of a severe ear ache and throbbing in my ear. This was my second visit to this clinic in a couple years because of lack of options seeing how it was a holiday and 7pm. I went in and it took about 10 min to get checked in. The receptionist although kind, couldn't figure out anything regarding my insurance and seemed very confused. I went back with the PA and sat in a room with an open door being asked countless questions. It was an extremely awkward interaction and sat in silence for minutes at a time. She then got up, rushed off and said we're going to a room. I couldnt even keep up with her she was practically running. I was left in the exam room and didnt wait long until the doctor came in. He briefly introduced himself and asked me what was going on. I explained my symptoms and mentioned other issues that could of been related to the problem that I'd been having over the past week or so. The doctor looked in my one ear for a total of maybe three seconds and said everything looked fine. He said it was 'probably allergies' and that I should go get over the counter medicines to help with the issue. He never showed any interest in doing a full exam, listening to my lungs or looking down my throat to see if there were any issues that could be related. I felt like an inconvenience and that the staff does not take quality medical care seriously. Today, I feel worse than I did yesterday and all I have to show are over the counter options that were briefly described to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend visiting this clinic. Go to an ER if its late and your options are limited. And while you see that admin from DOCCS commenting on each poor review, you can see they keep coming. The reviews are poor, they say they are taking the feedback into consideration but by the reviews and my extremely poor experience, you can see change is not being implemented. read more

I was just discharged from Trauma Care 10 days ago. I went to Doccs because I needed to establish a PCP for follow-up care. I have a severe respiratory issue that is not COVIDs, but is fragile. I wore a mask to protect others. I was shocked that not only patients in the waiting room were not required to wear masks (including a child), but that two nurses AND a doctor who visited me would not wear theirs, either. I wish zero stars was an option. I went into this office today with my fiancé whom has been having migraines off an on for the past few days to see what's going on. She wanted to get a COVID test to be safe. We called ahead to ask if they still offered these tests to which they said yes. So we headed that way. When we arrived at the urgent care there were no masks or hand sanitizer available ANYWHERE in the facility. The clinic was empty when we got there so we sat by ourselves in the waiting room to be called back and minded our own. Once called back my fiancé was told they were going to "play pretend" about her blood pressure because the nurse didn't feel like checking it today and had other things to do before conducting the COVID test. Once the test was finished, about 2 minutes had gone by before the aggressive nurse (who wanted really badly to be a doctor) stormed into the room and started yelling at my fiancé stating she infected the entire clinic and how dare she come in here with a positive COVID test. He went on and on to say how she should be ashamed of herself for stepping into the urgent care office and that she ruined the clinic. He followed her out into the waiting room yelling and pointing his finger at her until she walked out crying. Absolutely pathetic and an excuse of an urgent care. Nothing in my life will EVER be urgent enough to step foot in this tragic place again. The most immature, disrespectful, and unprofessional medical staff I have ever seen in my life. The people who walked in 10 mins to close after us who were getting tested for an STD didn't get scolded for spreading infections so I'm not sure why we did. But that's okay. I have been getting spam calls from DOCCS reminding me to make an appointment, which ironically reminded me to follow up with the State Medical Board regarding my complaint about Dr. Marilyn Moss and how she falsified medical records. When I called to have my name taken off of the calling list, I was informed that she still worked there, despite the owner being aware that she fraudulently falsified medical records. If you want to be able to trust your medical care provider, do not go to DOCCS. read more

Then the Nasty Lady tells me 150.00 dollars for the test and they bill my insurance for the Visit. She never saw me leave HA HA and I am sure she didn't care. So DOCCs on 2100 Wickham are nothing more than gouging people and should be put out of business and the Nasty Lady too. Open 24 hours. This place is great if you have a semi-emergency and need immediate attention without wanting to go to the ER. It's cheaper and you won't wait as long. They're able to assist and treat most injuries and illnesses that aren't dire. HOWEVER, I highly suggest you follow up with your primary care physician or a specialist. I went in for a minor wrist injury. They did x-rays, told me it's badly sprained and might be fractured, and put me in a brace. They told me to wear the brace tight and don't use my hand at all. I followed up with a specialist a week later and he gave me completely contradictory info. The brace was too tight and was causing more pain and harm then if I wasn't wearing it. And by not using my hand, it was causing my muscles to atrophy. A friend had a similar experience. I won't get into all the details, but the urgent care doctor also gave her info. that was a temporary fix but not a long-term solution to the problem. Keep this in mind if you go here. read more

I came in for a COVID RAPID test(after possible exposure and i WAS WEARING A MASK) , which DOCCS charges $120.00 for and REFUSES to bill your insurance, which is not ethical practice. So they are essentially charging you 120.00 for a 10.00 quick swab test. Any other urgent care center will bill your insurance or Government. Then a woman walked in asking for a COVID screening and was coughing and sneezing. SHE HAD NO MASK. i looked around the waiting room and realized 75% of the people had no mask on. Right now the delta variant is spreading like wildfire , and these folks were not advised to mask up. So i asked the receptionist "why is that symptomatic lady not wearing a mask and sitting behind me?" they advised Florida laws would not allow them to require masks. This is totally false, ANY private company can and will require masks as we see in most DR offices. I advised the front receptionist I was afriad to go to the rooms and get my test as they allow UNMASKED covid positive patients to walk around freely all day before i got there. (certainly someone has been through there and tested postive, right?) they put me in some storage room (which was fine with me) and did my swab. Nobody in the facility felt is was neccessary for SYMPTOMATIC PATIENTS to wear a mask and prevent infecting the staff and the of course us patients. The front receptionist advised she had only been there 5 days on the job, but said the other urgent care centers (like medfast, carespot..etc) always took precautions. (i realize there is no mask mandate in Florida, but that does not excuse a place of medicine from literally encouraging the spread of COVID-19 by allowing SYMPTOMATIC patients to be in the building and rooms WITHOUT ANY MASK. This is beyond unacceptable and unethical.** DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF COVID-19 EXPOSURE. *** This business is a part of why COVID is exploding all over the country.
