The fries were good but my Philly cheese steak was mostly mayonnaise and what I would swear was kraft cheese.

We had the opportunity to enjoy Easter brunch here, and it delivered the kind of experience you…read morehope for on a holiday morning. The atmosphere struck the right balance. Upscale without being stiff, comfortable without losing that polished feel. I ordered the jambalaya, and it was a standout. Well layered flavor, not overly heavy, with a nice balance of spice and richness. The proteins were cooked properly and the vegetables still had structure, which matters in a dish like that. It felt intentional, not just thrown together for a brunch menu. Across the table, the Eggs Benedict was equally strong. The hollandaise was smooth and properly seasoned, not overly lemony or thick, and the eggs were cooked right where they should be. That is often where places miss, but this one didn't. Dessert was where things really elevated. The strawberry cheesecake was clean, bright, and not overly sweet, with a good texture that held together without being dense. The chocolate Rasberry glutin-free dessert torte, was rich in the right way. Deep chocolate flavor without crossing into heavy or overwhelming. Service was attentive without hovering, and timing between courses was well paced, which is not easy on a busy holiday like Easter. Overall, this is a place that clearly pays attention to execution. Not just presentation, but flavor, balance, and consistency. That is what separates a good brunch from one you remember. We will be back.

Server wasn't much help and said she was new. Service was slow and embarrassingly bad. Our food was subpar and nothing to write home about (we didn't even take photos) - the best bite was the Thai Chili sauce Brussels. 3 out of 4 at our table had a that a veg side and everyone liked them! My wife had a the filet, which wasn't very tender. We came for dinner based on advertisement of a James Beard award winning chef. We've been to many restaurants (not in LYH) that have a James Beard award winning chef- don't be fooled this one wasn't!!!

Amazing! More than I could ever ask for. First, amazing…read morestaff! I went in bright and early 6:45am. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Get the CINNAMON RAISIN PANCAKES, while you still can. Perfect crust! So cinnamon-y sweet I ate the whole thing without syrup! Soft scrambled eggs were like heaven. Pork sausage links were so juicy. The grilled potato's so, so good, paired with the sausage it was the perfect amount of salt. I also got a side of sautéed mushrooms, you cannot go wrong with that combo if you love all of these things. The chef really cares for his craft. The vibe of the Acorn Hill Lodge And Bistro is absolutely adorable. Neon light sign in the window, Christmas lights wrapped around supports. Not too bright, not too dark. Again, perfect for early morning! They have more amenities and businesses on sight I hope to check out in the future. No photos, I ate it all too fast. Sorry, not sorry. 10/10! Get those Pancakes!

The service was terrible. The waitress didn't come to our table, I had to flag her down to just ask…read morefor water. We waited 45 minutes for our meals, and it was not busy at all. The waitress never apologized or explained. I had to ask for a box and the check because she was just looking at me without saying anything. Also the food wasn't fantastic either. The eggs weren't totally cooked, the quesadilla was soggy on one side, and I asked for an English muffin but got white bread instead. We asked for berries on the French toast and that was not added. For waiting 45 minutes the meal wasn't anything special. Im giving it a 2 star because the food wasn't disgusting and the environment was relaxing and laid back, oh and the friendly black cat when we walked in was cute.

The manager i had to speak to was very professional and apologetic for the issue we had. She offered to move us, give us a free dessert, she was trying to rectify a situation the hostess had caused. She did offer a discount on the bill which was appreciated but honestly I only voiced my complaint so hopefully it doesnt happen again. Now to the issue and the negative - the hostess sat us (me and my husband) at a table. No one around us then immediately put 3 tables together and we overheard they were sitting 15 people there. None of those 15 had inside voices and were extremely loud the entire time. We finally had to box our food up and leave. We had asked to be moved but honestly itd gotten to the point we were just annoyed that grown adults would be so loud and disrespectful in a nice restaurant. If your goal is to be drunk and loud go to bdubs or I dunno stay home so you dont ruin other people's dinner out. Overall we enjoyed the food and the staff aside from the hostess were great. We wont let this stop us from visiting again and will definitely speak up faster next time if put in a situation like that.

We recently held my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at The Neighbor's Place, and I cannot say enough…read morewonderful things about our experience. We were planning the event from four hours away, and Lindsey and Jessica made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. They were always quick to respond to emails, answered every question thoroughly, and even sent photos of the room and table dimensions so I could plan decorations and linens from afar. Their communication and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The dinner itself was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and offered a great selection within the package we chose. We were especially impressed with how smoothly the staff handled a large group with many different steak temperatures and meal requests -- everything came out efficiently and perfectly cooked. When we were running short on time, Lindsey and Jessica even jumped in to help set up the room for us, which meant so much to our family. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the evening feel seamless and special. If you are considering The Neighbor's Place for a private event or celebration, I highly recommend them. They helped create such a memorable night for our family, and we are incredibly grateful.
