I love the homey comfortable atmosphere. Not only is the staff welcoming and friendly, but the customers as well. It seems to be a place where friends gather. I also love the coffee and the chocolate flavoring, both mild and delicious! And lucky you if you are there on the day Mom bakes her amazing almond donuts. The lightest donuts ever! As locals, it is one of our favorite coffee stops around! We travel to get there and are never sorry we did! read more

What a lovely little coffee shop! The staff was so kind of friendly. My iced coffee was delicious! Nice coffee shop. The desserts looked amazing and they were all homemade, but I passed this time!! Here read more

Dobson Creek Coffee Co - a man standing at the counter - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ronan, Montana

They roast their own coffee on the premises! Actually right in front of the store so you can not only smell, you can see it! The staff is wonderful and the coffee is good! Get the donuts! The place is small and usually crowded but don't let that hinder you from getting some good coffee and a soft sweet donut read more

Dobson Creek Coffee Co - Front! Love the smell of this place - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ronan, Montana

Coffee was terrible. Extremely disappointed based on the look of the place and the other reviews here. Cold brew plain, straight from the tap, without any ice or milk to dilute it. And it is the flavor and color of old weak tea! This appears to be a locally owned business in a tiny rural town, which is the kind of place I regularly frequent and love to support. But this experience was a complete and total disappointment. Even the young person behind the counter managed to be rude and unhelpful. Perhaps customer service is reserved for the locals she knows by name. This coffeeshop is located next to Stella's Bakery. read more

The coziest interior with a fireplace and leather couches would be enough for a 5 star rating... but their in-house roasted coffees are even better!!! The perfect place to share with friends. read more

My wife and I stopped in here for the second time in three days; coffee, mocha, cinnamon rolls, and an apple fritter. The pastries are fresh baked on site and were delicious. The coffee beans are roasted on site; the coffee and mochas were outstanding, and consistent over the visits. Mary and I enjoy sampling different coffee shops as we travel around the country and many overseas locations, most are good, but every once in a while we find an exceptional place, and this is one of those. read more

Dobson Creek Coffee Co - Donut holes, a glazed donut and a maple glazed, toasted almond donut. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ronan, Montana

I love Dobson Coffee! The cozy atmosphere, the beverage selection, everything! I especially appreciate their decaf coffee, which is so hard to do right, but which tastes amazing every time--nice, full-bodied flavor and not weak or burnt! I'm celiac and cannot eat gluten, but I know that all of their pastries and donuts are also handmade every morning, and my family tells me they are fantastic. Highly recommend!! read more

Awesome coffee, had my usual shot in the dark and I was not disappointed. Their coffee has good character and great taste. No need for cream or sugar, this coffee is superb will definitely be one of my regular stops when driving through from now on. read more

This place is awesome. Seriously the donuts are insane. This was such a great addition to our road trip, I am pretty sure I will remember this donut forever. read more

Friends who live in Ronan recommended this place for great coffee. I'll have to let you know that this is true coffee. This place is lucky to be in town especially for out of towners who need that coffee kick in the morning. I ordered the iced coffee and was astounded by how flavorful it was. Iced coffee can be difficult to make as most people tend to water it down due to the ice. With a real espresso machine and a knowledgable barista, the coffee was rich and strong. They also had some good pastries including a cinnamon sugar cream cheese roll. I don't think I've had great iced-coffee like this one. I hardly give out 5 stars but because I was very impressed with the coffee and the low key, comfortable atmosphere, and the great barista, it just needed the 5 stars. read more

Stopped for a coffee and donut delicious had the berry one and a bacon one. Really friendly service great ambience even a play space for toddlers so parents can have coffee in peace read more

I am reading all the reviews and all the stuff the shop has to offer but I wouldn't have known much by going into the shop because my wife and I could barely get any acknowledgement by the people that worked there let alone to tell us what they have to offer. Service was very cold and unfriendly, nobody could answer our questions about the coffee they roast there, who would have known they brew kombucha or that they have pastries? We had been trying to make it over there since we got in the area and my wife was very excited to try the coffee but we were very disappointed, I'm not even really excited to try the coffee beans we bought anymore. Businesses should be knowledgeable about what they sell and friendly if they want repeat customers. read more

Best. Donut. Ever. And the coffee was delicious. Friendly people and fab spot to stop at.

Stopped here for coffee on our way out of Polson. Delicious latte and wonderful service!

Not only do they serve great coffee and all sorts of other drinks, they are about the nicest people you could meet. They offer a warm environment that allows you to sit, sip, and visit in a family friendly setting. I would highly recommend stopping in, getting some great coffee and eats, and meeting these people. Not only do they make great coffee? But they make the BEST donuts I have ever had (not an exaggeration). Also, they nailed the atmosphere. If I lived nearby, I would want to hang out here all the time. (Also, it just happens to be connected to an excellent cafe, Stella's) read more

This was a great little coffee shop. I actually had their home made Lavender Kombucha which was delicious. The peach Kombucha I tried was Awesome too. They also make their own coffee there. The decor was really cute and comfortable. Great little area of books. Great service. read more

Living one town up the road I for sure stop in every time I am in their town or have an extra 30 min and the urge to drive down for the best coffee in the area. I purchase their grinds for my use at home as well. Recently moving into a larger store with more seating and set up in a very relaxed manner, fireplace and all, the quality of their coffee remains top notch. Easy service, friendly and unobtrusive people let you enjoy your choice of blend or beverage as it should be. Food offered is tasty as well. I like coffee a lot and Dobson Creek is my current favorite place to get it. read more

TO ALL THE COFFEE SNOBS: You have to try Dobson Creek Coffee Company. I've been meaning to write this review for YEARS. A certified coffee snob who cut his teeth in the hipster coffee revolution of Chattanooga, Tennessee, I wasn't expecting much from this little roaster built across from my auntie's now-demolished home on Ronan's main street. Dobson Creek is a coffee snob's fantasy not just because it can dish out a delicious cappuccino or roast top-quality beans. Now accustomed to a great cup of coffee, we're growing tired of the aging brands that dominate artisan coffee -Counter Culture, Intelligentsia, Stumptown, etc. We dream of the passionate artisan that hones his/her craft outside of a large city like Seattle or LA. The owners of Dobson Creek spend their time small-batch roasting these beans to perfection because they love and are dedicated to their product. They've recently moved off of main street and upgraded their digs to an former antique shack-style locale just off of highway 93. The building is the definition of Montana from the old wood that lays bare both in and outside to the beautiful hand-crafted metal chandelier that hangs above the fireplace. I could not be more proud to say that this coffee shop is in my hometown. I wish them the very best and all the success in the world. read more
