Kristen knows the laws around divorce. However, she is extremely disrespectful, sarcastic and condescending. The first appointment was 6.5 hours where she talked endlessly about other couples, was rude, refused to answer questions, she made it clear that if I chose not to continue with her she would not return my money. At one point I said "you are very condescending.", she laughed and said I'm not the first person to say that. From then on she was passive aggressive, made me wait at least half hour for every appointment. She allowed my Ex to come in to sign the agreement, but ignored my texts and phone calls for one month before I could come in and sign. I would NEVER EVER recommend her to anyone. She needs some intensive personal therapy so she can stop projecting all her rage and unhappiness on to people struggling with divorce, she makes a bad situation much much worse. read more

She stated from the beginning she was neutral not one sided and I quickly realized she was very much nicer to my ex husband than myself in the entire process. Then a form was needed and my ex husband magically was able to get ahold of her no problem and she tells him that I can contact her no problem she could help with the form for hire. So I reach out to her like she said I could and she responds by saying I'm out of town I'm not sure there's anything for me to do unless you decide to pay me for the admin work. I proceed to ask her how much and also ask a simple question of why wasn't this form provided at the beginning and she responds with basically she not able to help me and refuses to work with me. If you don't like your job lady then maybe you should retire! We are out $1500 and had to end up going with somebody else to file. Even the other agency was like..."Why has she not gotten to your file yet?" Yes we had many edits and yes we were charged for every single one! You made us feel like we were always bothering you Mrs. Harrison! If you don't like your job retire!!! You have paying clients going through a hard time depending on you for help. My ex and I used her service and it was a mess from the beginning. I felt that since I was not the paying party I was not listened to. Calls went unanswered and when I finally got a response a month later it was a complaint about how I was sending her multiple message. I had sent one text and called twice in the span of a month. That I could have let go because she did complete our paper work but I am giving one star because when my ex went in to complete the paperwork they both noticed that I forgot to initial a few papers of the divorce decree and they thought it was acceptable to sign my initials without my consent. I really hate to give bad reviews, however I was misinformed by Kristin. She did my custody court papers with the hopes of going back to mediation. But since I went to mediation back in June of this year, my case was denied because it turns out that people can only go to mediation ONCE every six months. Kristin was fully aware of that facts of my case. When I told her what happen, she just told me "you need to get a lawyer".... Now I'm out of $475 and I have to get a lawyer. Divorce can be a hard time for a couple. Even though I got along with my ex-husband, Kristin made the process very simple for both parties. She was honest about the process and the timeline. My personal experience...Kristin genuinely cares and knows her stuff. She works hard and communicates well. There is a reason she has such great reviews. My husband cheated and she helped us take care of our divorce from start to finish, 100%. I didn't have to know what I was doing, she had all the information I needed. If your spouse is being an ass, won't agree to any terms, and fighting you on everything, you probably need to shell out some heavy cash for a lawyer to represent you. But if you two can agree to sit down together and come up with an agreement and agree to move forward amicably (especially important for those of us with kids), or if you are trying to go about this alone, then please consider Kristin. She is an advocate and makes the process as smooth as is possible. The court system in California and the red tape is ridiculous to try to navigate yourself (IMO) but she takes that burden off your shoulders with her knowledge and skills. Not to mention how reasonable her pricing is - saved me THOUSANDS in lawyer fees, of which there is no way I could have afforded.. Highly recommend. Even through the drama rama my cheating ex caused, I was able to get terms to her and she took care of everything in a very timely manner. SHE ALSO TAKES PRECAUTIONS so that your ex CANNOT effectively sign the papers and then go back and say they were 'underduress' or 'didn't fully read or understand' the terms. Very wise.
