Neda is a terrible attorney who should be disbarred for dishonesty. Personally dealing with her as Pro Per against my ex husband. She is so bad that my husband and I are going to team up (first time ever since the divorce) to give the California Bar Association all of our documents. We have been trying to settle and her office keeps avoiding it in order to rack up more money from my soon to be ex husband. We have emails from both sides asking her to put very specific wording in a stipulation to avoid future confusion and 3 times she has purposely wrote it wrong and continues to bill my ex husband for repeat services to send the same document. It's seems as though I'm not the only one that says this reading recent reviews from others. Good thing we can come together for a good cause. There are plenty of better more honest, attorneys out there. Even her associate attorney knows she is dishonest. He was the one handling our case and working with us and she sent me an email saying she will be overseeing everything he does. Really lady that seems like trust issue to me. My boyfriend needed help in getting his child support lowered and alimony dropped, unfortunately we just threw money away by hiring this office. Their main focus was to send us a weekly statements rather than getting his alimony and child support lowered/dropped. Neda's office was paid more than $6,000 to basically do nothing other than her team draft up legal docs, go to court once to represent my boyfriend (btw, it was virtual and she was also working on someone else's case during this time; the judge even had her mute her phone because we could all hear her talking to someone else in the background), and ultimately Neda just helped his ex get another year of alimony. Yeah, the focus seemed more on helping his ex rather than helping him, their customer. It was a mistake to hire the office and I know this firsthand because I paid some of the fees and was there with him during his phone conversation with this office. read more

Contacted their office to get a quote on a basic child support calculation. The office manager quoted me $350 per hour and even offered a Thursday appointment. When I called back to set up appointment the receptionist told me I had to pay a $2500 retainer plus $350 an hour and spouted off several other fees that had nothing to do with what we wanted done. When I asked him why the price quote was so different, he couldn't give me a reason other than, he didn't know. When I asked to speak to office manager, he told me he wasn't there. I asked to have him call me back. The receptionist said he would give him the message. I never got a call back. I don't know what their legal services are like, but if it's anything like the help from their office staff, then don't bother. Contacted another lawyer and was quoted a flat rate of $150. Ridiculous incompetence. The fact is your office staff did exactly what you claim they don't. Perhaps instead of denying this level of incompetence you could apologize and train your staff better. That's what a real responsible business owner does. Also, why would a free consultation apply to a basic child support calculation where both parties are friendly? read more

I had a good feeling about her after the free consultation meeting. Knowing i have 2 cases to handle in criminal and family matters and considering i was trying to hire her services last minute with less than a week before a hearing that i wasn't even aware of and was notified by her crew of the results post hearing. Hired first to take care only of my criminal misdemeanor as i still didn't had all the funds available for the family matter retainer yet she was denying any answer as for my family issues untill i pay for that as well. Not very long story short - She never actually heard my full story in the case u was represented initially and the only communication i ever got from her office was in regards to money. Rarely for my case. Not to mention i never saw miss Aguirre once again past our initial consultation but it all finished abruptly with her accusing me in non communication with her resigning from my 1st case last minute before a court appearance where i had to decline her resignation so i don't have to go to court alone. Which was the reason obviously for even hiring her. She did refund me the full amount i paid originally without me asking for it, most likely to shut me up.(minus the last court appearance i made her associate go) Bottom line - I only heard complaints from her and money matters communications but never not even once any questions about me or my cases. Fact. Had 2 cases and she barley handled the first one. We didn't yet get to the 2nd case! She is a good business woman and that's the reason for the 2 stars. I really liked my experience with Neda and her whole office. She is the attorney you'll work with, but for the most part you'll work with the paralegals. I LOVED her paralegal, Edward. I loved him! He was very knowledgeable, thorough, understanding, had a kind and soothing voice to help with the times when the stress really kicks in, because we all know family law comes with a ton of anxiety and stress. Attorneys are NEVER cheap, but Neda was less per hour than all the others I had meetings with first. I had a lot that came along with my case, while it was still expensive, in the case of my legal fees, I think I came out ok. I also want to talk about how Neda seemed to really care about the kids involved more than the feelings of us parents. Not to say she doesn't care about us, but she makes it clear how bad she feels for the kids involved and how important it is to get what is best for them. That is really important, especially as I look back. While we absolutely want to win our cases, she will also be pretty upfront and almost blunt about what is best for the kids. In the long run, that will be what saves money, because she know what the judges will want and be looking for, so there won't be as much need to be in and out of court. While being matter of fact and blunt may seem like something we don't want in an attorney, it really is good because we typically are so wrapped up in hurt and anger during these types of cases, so we don't always look and the full picture to know what is best for our kids. I'm going to just state the facts from my own experience dealing with this firm. I fired this lawyer after she had lied to my face three different occasions. The first was when Mrs. Neda had stated that she had been doing family law for a long time. This is false as she has only had her licence to practice law in CA for five years. licence #303790 The second was when Neda told me I wouldn't win against the TRO even when I found out later I would have. I had no police record, and I never had any negative dealings with the police prior to the divorce. The third lie was when she charged me for reading emails when she did not. Because if she had read them she would have discovered the please respond at the end of the emails. Which Mrs Neda did not respond to. I felt disrespected from her lack of social professionalism of talking over me. Mrs Neda's constant dismissal of my reasonable requests for her to provide legal courses of action by means of giving me a creepy smile and just sitting there. I felt disrespected as a former member of the military. I did not feel respected for being a client that kept her employed. I noticed the awards displayed in her office had no sponsor names on them. Mrs. Neda had me submit payments into a trust so she could collect tax free income without a single cent being discounted for me the employer. I noticed when receiving the case file Mrs. Neda had begun her own investigation into fiances to divide when there was never a request for her to do this. I felt as a father and educated person Mrs. Neda was working for the opposition than my interests. After reading the reviews I have found myself to not be the only one who felt as if my interests were not being addressed. Mrs Neda quickly discontinued communication with me pushing me off on an intern Gary who was consistently dismissive and unresponsive. I have learned that Mrs. Neda is known as "Neda the nag" by other lawyers I have had the opportunity to speak with. As example, if she is confronted by opposition without a lawyer she will harass them instead of using proper legal avenues. When confronted by any experienced lawyer as in my case I found her acting in the oppositions best interest to curry favor with opposing council. I found Neda through yelp. I needed her so urgently through my case that once she received her $3000. She was quick to defend the other party then ME. Mind you I PAYED YOU! She was completely unprofessional and unorganized. After meeting with her a few times, I noticed how she will argue with you like you're the wrong person instead of making you feel protected. There was constant back and forth between her and her assistant which I believe truly ruined my case because all the misunderstand was " my fault." I hired Neda to represent me during my divorce. I absolutely regret working with her. She is very careful with her wording by saying "there is no guarantee on winning" because she doesn't bother trying at all. During the time I worked with Neda, she made sure to defend my ex-husband and his lawyer before defending me. She keeps great track of finances in her favor but is very poor at organizing important paper work for her clients. I had multiple documents rejected by our judge because of her lack of attention to detail. While our case was being reviewed my father passed away in Italy. I told Neda that I wanted go visit my family over there but right before my flight I had an anxiety attack due to stress caused by the divorce and my fathers death so I didn't go. Neda found out I didn't go and called me yelling at me saying I was a liar because I didn't tell her that I didn't leave the country. (Obviously checking in with her was the least of my worries) I wanted to win the case against my husband so I asked Neda to have a forensic audit done on my husbands taxes and she agreed. I didn't hear from her for a few weeks so I called her asking her how the audit was going and she had the nerve to tell me "oh I didn't think you wanted to do it anymore". I have witnesses who heard all of our conversations and they were just amazed at how unprofessional she was. While I worked with her I felt like she didn't think we had a good case so she just didn't bother putting in effort. After paying $3500 for her "services" (or lack of) Neda decided to charge me an additional $1200 which was originally supposed to be $800. So she now harasses me work for it saying she's going to charge me interest. I'm not writing this because we lost the case, I'm writing this because of her lack of effort. I walked into this divorce with my husband demanding $50k from me and we closed the divorce with me paying him $48k. I had my taxes reviewed and research done on my finances while my husbands was left untouched. If you want a lawyer to defend you and fight for you, go elsewhere because Neda isn't in it for her clients. read more
