Because it was an open-box item, Best Buy declined to honor the purchase price on a new unit or offer a comparable replacement. The employees I spoke with were consistently kind, professional, and genuinely wanted to help. My frustration is not with them. They seemed limited by the systems and policies they had to work within. The process itself was incredibly frustrating. I received conflicting information from multiple representatives, was told my surround sound system and wall mount couldn't be canceled, yet I was able to submit a cancellation request myself through the app. I was also directed to replacement inventory that turned out to be located in Iowa and Minnesota rather than anywhere near me. Inventory mistakes happen. What left a bad impression was the lack of a practical solution after the purchase had already been completed. From a customer perspective, it felt like I was being pushed away from the deal I had legitimately purchased and toward paying significantly more for the same TV. I was prepared to spend several thousand dollars at Best Buy, but after this experience I chose to take my business elsewhere. The employees deserved better tools to help customers, and customers deserve a smoother process when something goes wrong.

She looks at my phone hits the screen four times. And like magic it is fixed.!!!! Thank goodness for Courtney. Thank goodness for friends that clean phones. It wasn't embarrassingly dirty. Second time we went to try and get information on what we needed to do to cancel our lines and get a "transfer pin" for new service. He said there was nothing he could do.
