The RMV employee, Caryssa, went above and beyond to assist me. She spent at least 45 minutes with me to get it resolved. Caryssa is an asset to the Pittsfield RMV office and should be commended. I moved from Florida and I needed to get all my ducks in a row, that included going to the dreadful DMV. I booked an appointment online which was fairly easy. On the day of the appointment, we parked and we were looking for the entrance and a kind security guard helped us and said we can go through the side door because we had a baby carriage with us. (Front entrance had stairs and not handicap accessible). We walked to the elevator to the second floor and showed the employee at the door our appointment confirmation number. We checked in, got a number ticket, and sat down. On a weekday morning, it wasn't too busy and only waited about 15 minutes before my number was called. I needed to get a driver's license and my vehicle registered. I forgot a document at home and they gave me a hall pass to go back in a couple of hours. Pro-tip: make sure you have all your documents, and then some. In the end, I've waited at the DMV in RI and FL; this experience in CT was a little better in comparison.
