He did a horrible job, the slate was not level and he broke one of the screw heads in the slate. I found out when the new mover came and tried to take it apart. I called him back to come and fix it but he never came back, now I know why he was dodging me read more

Called Wednesday for an appointment, scheduled it for Friday at 10:00 am. 7:00 pm Thursday I receive a text stating "I'm afraid we can't make it tomorrow." Tried texting multiple times after this cancellation to figure out when we can reschedule and why they were cancelling. 3 text messages went unresponded to.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I think the reason they flaked is because they're located in Hesperia yet are advertising on Craigslist in SAN DIEGO CITY. Hmm... Doesn't seem like a great business model, especially if you don't want to drive that far.  Two stars because apparently they do good work (from reading their other reviews) but I won't get to find out. read more

DLC Billiards - My Brunswick Pool Table after Ozzie did his work. - Pool & Billiards Near Me

Ozzie is THE BEST! His level of professionalism surpasses any expectation. Not only that, he has the best customer service. He makes you feel important and he is very honest, communicates extremely well, cares about doing the best job and is so nice! He responded to my text right away and explained the cost, the details of the job and the services he will provide. We found a time that worked for both of us and he made this happen IN ONE DAY. From the moment I talked with him, I noticed how polite and could sense his honesty, while understanding the type of experience and professionalism he has. He was fair in the price and now that I've seen how much work it takes, I highly suggest to all people to tip them in addition to the price. The de-assemble was very meticulous and he was very fast. The table I bought was custom and had an additional ball return piece that he had to figure out how to take apart from the rest of the table. He was very careful with the felt and took everything apart, marking it and carefully putting it away. He was so nice and so hard working. We spent a lot of hours together and he worked non-stop. He put the table together, adviced us on position in the livingroom...plus leveled it and made it ready for play right away. If you want to move a pool table, OZZIE is your guy! His price is fair, his work is high quality and his experience is unbeatable. We learned so much from him. He made our lives better and we will keep his contact information for when we will need new felt or any maintenance done to the table. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! read more

Did a great job for me. Needed a pool table broken down and prepared for storage. Ozzie was easy to contact by phone and text. He was flexible with scheduling the appointment and showed up on time. He did a good job wrapping all the pieces. He was friendly and easy to deal with. I'd call him again. read more

Had a horrible experience. I had spoken to Ozzie mid week and scheduled a pick later that week for a pool table, gave him all the information that was need. The pick up was scheduled for the morning at 10am. On the day of the pick up he was a no show, I had called/ left voicemails thru out the day trying to figure out was going on no answers. It wasn't til later in the evening (about 7 hrs after the scheduled pick up time) I finally heard back; it was excuse after excuse he had an employee call off his truck broke down he couldn't get to the phone. Waste of time save the $250 moving fee read more

WON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS OR TEXT. I hired Ozzie to come put my pool table together a few months ago and noticed that it was off level after playing a few times so I had been trying to reach him ever since (i wasn't in a rush). I even offered to pay for his expenses and offered to pay the same fee again just to get my table going again, no response to that as well. Finally after three months I ran out of patience. I decided to try to level it myself with the help of a friend. We tried making a slight adjustment and ended up popping the seam of the slates (Not good). I hired another gentleman and he pointed out the reason the slate came loose apparently was because too many shims were used and the screws didn't have enough thread to properly lock in the slates to the frame. Frame should've been properly leveled to begin with and other adjustments made to reduce shim use. So now i have a good working pool table but not before paying twice for assembly, the embarrassment of telling my guests that the table was not playable and lost time trying to get Ozzie to come back out. Oh and he still advertises on CL that he does work all over SoCal. Not cool. read more

I was looking for a pool cue for a birthday gift, as always and I know I'm not the first person to do this I looked to find one at the last minute. Don't get me wrong I looked at plenty cue sticks on-line but, didn't decide on one til I talked to Ozzie. Ozzie was very helpful and helped me become knowledgeable on something I knew nothing about. Ozzie was willing to meet me so I wouldn't have to drive far and when we met he was very professional, clean and accommodating. He gave me a price that I couldn't resist. I ordered the cue stick and the Birthday Man was really happy. Thank you OZZIE Erika read more

I called on a Saturday evening, and was able to schedule my move for the following weekend in conjunction with our uhaul move. The owner was very detailed in ensuring that we received the services we needed, and he was very communicative. He showed up on time, early in fact,to disassemble my pool table. He was extremely thorough in packaging for the move, making sure no piece of the table would get wet from the rain, or damaged from the ride. His prices are very fair, and the assembly was seamless. We are looking forward to bringing him back out in the future to re-felt our table! read more

These guys "Ozzy" were very responsive, respectful, and careful with our pool table. My husband accidentally over paid and he reimbursed us immediately. I came home to find our beautiful table set up perfectly. His professional opinion helped my decision of where I was going to place the table. read more

Ozzie replaced the felt on our pool table from green to slate gray and leveled our table. We had asked him about replacing the bumpers but he told us they were still good. Saved us some money for something that didn't need to be done instead of just replacing them and taking the money for it. Which is awesome! He was professional, honest, and punctual. Great communication during the entire process. Highly recommended! read more

I can't express how AWESOME of a job Ozzie did on giving our pool table a much needed facelift! He was extremely professional and punctual! I'm throwing a birthday party for my husband and we called him in a pinch ... He offered to come quickly and we are so glad he did! His pricing is great and service was even better! Thank you Ozzie for all of your hard work! read more

DLC Billiards - What a difference! Thank you Ozzy! - Pool & Billiards Near Me

Ozzie was great! He is extremely reasonable and professional. He moved my table and 5 moths later put it back together, using the previous procloth. Had the table originally covered by another known name, and it wasn't worth the money. Ozzie is a professional, careful, experienced, and reliable Pool Reliable expert. I plan to use him again in a few months or longer, if I decide to change felt or color. Genuinely Happy read more

I bought a table on CL and had them move it for me prices are more than reasonable especially for the service that Ozzie gives ...very happy

Ozzie was very fast at responding to my request and giving me a quote. I called around a few companies and they gave me the best quote. They were very flexible and worked around my schedule for a last minute appointment to pick up the table. Very professional and knows what he's doing. I had him do the move and re-felt. He even saved me money by letting me know I didn't need to change my bumpers. He easily could have told me otherwise and charge me extra, but was honest enough not to. So far very happy with the results. read more

I had to move a pool table from Fountain Valley to Cypress. I called so many pool table movers who advertised in the Craigslist and Ozzie was my last contact. He offered me a best deal. I couldn't get any cheaper from any other pool table movers. Since his price was the lowest, I had doubted on his quality of service or I was thinking he may not show up on time. We scheduled for last Wednesday between 4:30 - 5:00 pm. He showed up at 5:10 pm. I don't blame him because he had to come down from Fontana during the rush hour. He kept calling me while he was driving. He did a fantastic job. He took great care of my pool table. I can tell he is an expert in pool table. I would like to call him a pool table artist. Beside his performance, he is a nice person and humble. At the end, I could not stop myself from giving him extra tips. I would highly recommend him. read more

Great service. Ozzie refurbished and re-clothed our pool table. He was very professional and knows his business. We are very happy with his work and also the staff who helped to provide cloth options. Everyone is terrific and helpful. I highly recommend this company. We got great service and great value. Thanks so much. read more

I needed to move a pool table about 90 miles. I could only do it on a Sunday and it had to be a particular weekend since we were moving everything out of my mothers home. Not knowing who to you use I went to yelp to check out some local companies. I called Ozzie, he asked me a little bit of information about the table and the location, then gave me a very fair quote. We set up an appointment time. He was on time, courteous, clean and efficient. Everything went very well. I would highly recommend him and his company. read more

Completely impressed with Ozzie. I hired DLC to move a pool table from Pomona to Woodland Hills. I called Tuesday and he was able to move it for me on Wednesday afternoon. Ozzie spent a great deal of time setting it up, leveling it, and making sure everything was perfect before he left. He was patient, personable, professional, and really knows his stuff. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for pool table moving and assembly. read more

Scheduled a move of a pool table from Glendale to Fontana. I was the second appointment on a Saturday. Ozzie kept me posted to the time he would arrive and he showed up exactly when he said. Very quick to disassemble the table and load it up. When he arrived in Fontana, he set up the table, replaced the bumpers that were 25 years old, and put new felt on the table. Excellent work and Ozzie is a pleasure to work with. When he was working on the table, he took great care to protect everything. I would highly recommend Ozzie. read more
