Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.

I hired them again several years later to do flooring in another room; they did such a terrible job…read morethat the tiles cracked when walked on the floor because the installer just put blobs of concrete onto the tiles without smoothing it out at all. This technique also led to a 1/2" gap between the tile and the drywall in the shower. They didn't ask what kind of edging I wanted either before permanently installing cheap plastic. The owner showed up on the first day of the install but then I never saw him again. He left some young kid at my house who didn't speak any English at all. He originally installed it going the wrong direction, wasting materials I paid for, and then became visibly irritated with me when he had to redo the floor tile. When I pointed out that the tile was crooked, the supposedly non-English speaker said, "No, it's not" and then waited until I left the room to disappear forever. I tried to contact the owner, Robert, several times afterward asking for help and then he blocked my number. Eventually I gave up and hired a different contractor to demolish and redo the entire thing so the floor tiles dont crack when you walk on them and the wall tiles wouldn't fall off onto people showering when we the foundation shifts with the seasons. Hiring Anna Flooring a second time was a several thousand dollar mistake. I don't understand what happened to this company.

The owner and helper cleaned and stained our fence and garage doors. They had not been cleaner or…read morestained in maybe 10 years. The oil based semi-transparent stain was professionally applied with appropriate precautions taken to prevent overspray. He applied two light coats to the fence instead of one heavy coat to prevent the possibility of bleed through onto our neighbor's side of the shared fence. Our garage doors absorbed the stain at a higher rate than expected because they were so dry. The next day it was apparent that the 3 full sprays of the doors he had done were not adequate to provide the right coverage. Dave came back a few days later at no charge and sprayed 3 more coats until the doors looked great. Bottom line - this is a great company, highly professional and competitively priced. Dave is easy to work with and dedicated to satisfying his customers.
