Imagine my delight when I googled "junk car removal annapolis" and found the website for Quick Care Towing, where they did not charge a cent for towing, and in fact paid ME $125 for my car that can't even start! I emailed the owner (email address on the website) last night around 9pm, and in less than 5 minutes got a phone call telling me that I could get my car removed by noon the next day! This was such a blessing...we thought getting rid of our junker would be a huge hassle, but it could not have been easier! Today, he called me when he arrived at the garage (very punctual...he got there before I did!) and waited while I cleaned out the car. I signed an agreement saying that he had my permission to scrap the car, he handed me $125 in CASH, towed the car away....and I was back to work within 1 hour!! I highly recommend this business.

The vehicle was drivable just needed pulled off of the snow. When M&K (Harundale Towing) showed up and I asked them if they could tow it to my repair shop I was told that they would, for 350.00 cash no card only cash. I refused and M&K not only impounded my daughters car, they pulled it onto the bed of the tow truck while the car was still in park. I would have paid if they were not demanding cash. This company seems predatory to ask a 17 year old for 350. cash on the side of the road. I picked up the vehicle the next morning about 13 hours after they towed it an they had already stacked on a 60.00 storage fee. I would highly recommend using another tow company that does not damage vehicles and takes advantage of people.

I don't like to pay for replacement parts from the dealer (which appears to be the rule in this area of Maryland) but in this case it worked to my benefit. As for inspections, I have heard the same story about just about every repair shop. While I appreciate the level of scrutiny, it appears like a one time chance to obtain a lot of work. Coming from a neighboring state , I was naive as far as the costs and the 30 day requirement for findings to be resolved. A lesson learned the hard way. I have found the Walt Eger team to be responsive to my needs and to provide timely informative updates.

I waited and missed a day of meetings and my plane. After an hour, I contacted the driver and provided my location multiple times, even a map of where I was located. Despite being in close proximity, he appeared completely confused. Rather than apologize, the dispatcher called me a chewed me out. It was shocking.
