If I could leave negative stars I absolutely would this lady shouldn't be in business. My wife and…read moreI hired Mel 2 and 1/2 years ago and we just had our wedding this past weekend. We had meet with Mel multiple times to go over all the things we had intended to use from her services. We planned to use most of her services due to the special price she was running at the time of hiring her. We hired her to officiate, DJ, some linens, drapery, an arbor, a sweetheart table, silverware, saucers, charcuterie table, bartend(we planned to have full bar with signature drinks). Everything seemed fine, every meeting we had she seemed to have it down and reassured us that this was going to be great and smooth. However it was anything but the day before our wedding she informed us that she double booked.... ONE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING. So with the double booking we were given an officiant that we had not met before and luckily the new officiant was way better than Mel could have ever been. Next we hired Mel to provide table linens, napkins, gold saucers and gold silverware. And all we got were linens that were wrinkled to hell and napkins with boot prints stained in them making them unusable. She was also late to set up on the Friday before our wedding she was supposed to be at the venue to set up at 10 am and was an hour late and then her husband who was bringing the arbor and DJ equipment didn't show up until 2pm. So finally she arrived to start setting up tables as that was a big part of what she was hired for. She had all the tablecloths and napkins crumbled in a ball on the ground and she was just pulling from the pile. My wife had noticed that the tablecloths were wrinkled and Mel had assured that the wrinkles would lay down as she brought the linens damp. The next kicker is we had planned to do a pocket fold on all napkins in order to put silverware and party favors in the pocket however Mel decided to tie dirty napkins in knots and put them on the table. At this point we had noticed the mistakes but Mel had disappeared. Her and her husband showed up late and then by 4pm they were gone and nobody knew. She was then absent for our rehearsal as well as our DJ absent for rehearsal which made us feel very unprepared for our ceremony timing. Come to wedding day, we still had not heard from Mel about all of the things that had not been brought yet which included our gold saucers and gold silverware. Mel had already informed that with the double booking stated earlier she wouldn't be at the wedding but we assumed the rest of the items would be brought with the bartenders and alcohol. However once again we were sadly mistaken, when the bartenders arrived they came with clear plastic silverware(not what we wanted and paid for) and paper Dixie plates( not even close to what we wanted). We also paid for a FULL BAR and SIGNATURE DRINKS which was about 1000$ in total and what we received was three bottles of Jack which was for one of the signature drinks and premade margaritas which was the other signature drink and about 7 cases of beer. NO OTHER LIQUOR, our contract stated we would have beer, wine, signature drinks, tequila, rum, and vodka. Then during our wedding our DJ, who is Mel's husband pulled my dad away as he was the one who paid for the alcohol and signed the contract and it was calmly explained that the contract was not fulfilled and the DJ told my dad to sue him so they can be expecting a lawsuit. Thousands of dollars spent only to get wrinkly linens, a sad sad sad charcuterie table, a broken alcohol contract, a new officiant, and not a word from Mel since and an upset family would had to remedy the situation hours before our wedding. I would not recommend this business to a single soul. Steer clear the prices may sound good but contracts will be broken and you will be left to fix problems you shouldn't have had. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! She talked up all of her…read moreservices and we decided to use the Photo Booth at our cocktail hour. They were late and she made a lot of excuses. I blew it off because I understand sometimes things happen and they made it there in time for guests to still have fun with the Photo Booth. We paid for and were promised a scrap book with a copy of every picture at the wedding then a digital copy mailed to us. I have contacted her MANY TIMES and tried to be very understanding because she said she was sick. That was a complete lie!!! She just won't send me the flash drive which is very frustrating!! It has been 2 and a half month and now she won't answer any calls of texts.

Amy was so instrumental in keeping our day on time and flowing and their communication with each other was flawless. Jeff played great music, got the crowd interacting and everyone out of their seats. He was such a joy to work with from the beginning to end. We scheduled a call a month out to work through our timeline and iron out any details, and he is EXTREMELY detailed! It took the stress out of worrying that the music and introductions would be right. He has a great song list; his website is a huge asset in helping to think of songs for certain parts of the wedding. His knowledge and experience make him the BEST choice. To top it off, they are just good and nice human beings. Bonus is Amy getting some great pictures during the reception! You WON'T regret hiring them.

We had an hour and a half phone conversation a few weeks before the wedding where they made sure to have all of our favorite music for each part of the ceremony and reception, and even ensured they had the correct pronunciation of our wedding party for announcements! They've been in the business for a while and it clearly shows. They made sure to adhere to our "do not play" list and also took requests from guests. The sound was clear, volume was just right, and everyone had a fantastic time on the dance floor! I particularly appreciated how flexible they were with us throughout the day. Our photos were taking a little longer than expected so we had to push the timeline up a bit, and they didn't mind at all. Amy was so sweet and made sure to find my husband and me whenever it was time for certain things on the timeline, such as the first dance and cake cutting - she did so without being pushy or interrupting conversations we may have been having with guests. I am so glad we chose them for our special day, as music is so important to my husband and me. Thanks so much to Jeff and Amy for helping us have a stress-free wedding!
