Ok I have to say a 4-Star rating for this place seems a bit low. This is by far my favorite place so far in Tung Lee Avenue. I can say with 100% confidence that just about everything in this place is unique.
Where do I start... I came here with a group of friends and just decided to walk in for a drink, not having checked it out on yelp beforehand. As soon as you walk in, your attention is caught by the brightly colored yellow, green, blue, and red-colored chairs, and the graffiti art on the walls. That alone makes this place so unique. We sat at the bar to check out the drink menu, but were instantly distracted by just about everything else. I first noticed the beautiful selection of Japanese whiskey behind the bar... about 20-30 of them... but before I got a chance to check those out, my attention went to the busy bartender making art; yes, art! Not drinks! Seriously, I first noticed him picking various dried and fresh flowers with a pair of tweezers out of a jar, which he then poured into a beautifully constructed drink... whhaaaaattt?!?! So having forgotten all about the menu, we were mesmerized by the drinks he was making. Every single one was different and one more exotic than the next. I have never seen something like this. Check out my pictures for some examples of drinks with flowers, dried fruit, and one that had panties on! And they are not just looks. They are delicious!! A bit pricey, but worth every penny. If you have the chance, sit at the bar, even for a little bit. It's a sight seeing them being made, and definitely makes sense why they're expensive. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes designer and artistic cocktails. My one gripe is that their menu does nothing to tell you about the piece of art you're about to get. Had I not say at the bar and looked at the 10-15 drinks the bartender made before we ordered ours, we would never know what we were getting. read more
