They walked us through everything and provided a lot of helpful insight throughout the planning process. We had complete control and were well taken care of. Weeks before the wedding we had a FaceTime call with our DJ, Javin Harden, who was so helpful, provided documents regarding the playlist and stages of the event that were extremely helpful. We had a great experience working with him. The photo booth stopped working about halfway through the reception and stopped printing the pictures, but they assured us that the photos will be saved and sent directly to us following the event. Not ideal but it was a good compromise and better than nothing. Overall, we absolutely loved using Vox DJ's and would highly recommend them to anyone for weddings.

We spent months planning, had multiple consultations, and provided detailed documentation outlining the exact order of events and song selections especially picked for our ceremony. Unfortunately, the ceremony music was a disaster. The wrong songs were played at the wrong times, songs were repeated, cut off, and there were multiple moments of complete silence. My husband walked out to the wrong song, the bridal party music was never played, and there were several awkward pauses while our coordinator was texting DJ Will to try to get him to play the right song. I even had to wait to walk down the aisle because the correct song was not being played. This was one of the most important moments of our day, and it was completely ruined. my mood right before walking down the aisle was anger. After over a year of planning and trusting a professional vendor with such an important role, this level of disorganization and lack of execution was extremely disappointing. We did not receive the quality of service we paid for. Even after reaching out to Diego their account manager he ghosted me twice for a phone call that was scheduled to discuss what happened. From the Dj to their admin this was a terrible experience, I couldn't say anything positive. Don't have your wedding ruined or your money wasted.

To this day--two years later--she remains the vendor we rave about most. She didn't just play music; she engineered an atmosphere. From the reception to the after-party, she curated a soundscape that felt authentically "us." Her instinct for reading the room is unmatched, and her range across genres--especially her house selections--took the night to another level. As someone who is borderline obsessed with music and the ambience it can create, I can say confidently that she exceeded every expectation. Her taste is impeccable, her transitions seamless, and her presence warm and professional. She made what was already the most important day of our lives even more unforgettable. Our guests still talk about the dance floor energy and the after-party she facilitated. It was the most fun, joy-filled night, and her talent was the driving force behind it. We will be forever grateful for the magic she brought to our wedding. If you want a DJ who is both wildly skilled and genuinely wonderful to work with, she's the one!!!!

One word - scrumtrulescent…read more This is a slang term coined on Saturday Night Live meaning "transcendent and fantastic beyond description". Not often would an adjective of this nature be fittingly applied to a dive bar; let alone one amidst the sea of posh opulence on display in the Old Town nightlife scene. However, in my experience, I can think of no better word to describe the experience, personnel, libations, and fare I've encountered over the years at DJs. Typically, I'd refrain from penning an updated review until I've had a more noteworthy share about a business. However, the courageous keyboard warrior, S.L. (which I assume stands for "Some Loser") anonymously and publicly critiqued my subjective opinion and called me to action. Firstly, S.L., thank you for the feedback. Your unfettered drivel sloshed across this Yelp page like a vomit spewing head a la the Exorcist has given me pause. I do want the opinions I share to be helpful for the Yelp user community. Perhaps, using the word "shithole" in quotes did not demonstrably articulate the ironic sense in which it was intended. Or perhaps, it went over your head. Unsurprising given the nearly unreadable block of text filled with all caps sentences that reads like a ranting child which comprises your review. By chance, using "douchebaggery" in a sentence was inaccurate. There is a fluidity inherent in language as a manner of conveying meaning regardless of a word being recognized by an institution like the Oxford English Dictionary. Case-in-point, my use of "scrumtrulescent". However, your hilariously pedantic claim that "douchebaggery" is a fake word is an easily Googleable falsehood given that "DOUCHEBAGGERY" WAS ADDED TO THE OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY IN 2018. You should be proud, a self-own of that magnitude is both difficult and rare! All said, upon reflection, my previous 5-star review stands and represents my opinion of this establishment. If you don't like the restaurant, go somewhere else. It doesn't help the Yelp community when you attack others' opinions.

When we had last-minute changes because of rain, he was flexible and worked smoothly with our planner to make adjustments without any stress. Everything still flowed really well. He kept the energy up all night with solid mixes and mashups that had people on the dance floor. He also executed our double baraat perfectly and handled the bride vs. groom dance-off exactly how we'd hoped - both were highlights for us and our guests. Overall, DJ Mistry was reliable, adaptable, and clearly knows what he's doing. We'd absolutely recommend him.

He sent over a spreadsheet for us to fill out with additional details on what we were looking for and then turned that guidance into an absolute party. Anyone who is shopping for Wedding DJ services, I cannot stress enough that Boar's Head's slogan of "Compromise elsewhere" applies here. DJ Mistry is 100% worth the value he asks. I did not fully appreciate until the day of our wedding just how much of the experience was driven from behind the DJ booth. Sure, curating playlists based on our input is a critical component of it. But it's not just the music for the reception, it was a background setlist for the cocktail hour, timing of entrances for the ceremony, making sure the priest was mic'ed and clear, making sure the toasts worked with some background music in between to keep guests engaged, our grand entrance to the reception, first dances etc. Everything about the event went on the time table of our wedding planner and the DJ. Also, turning those inputs for the reception into dance tracks, mash-ups, vibes, crescendos, moments to remember, and blending it all together was one of the crown Jewels of our event and something that many of our guests commented and asked about days after as a significant highlight. Anyone who may be planning an Indian wedding or fusion wedding, Mehul perfectly blended Bollywood hits that got all the Aunties and Uncles to the dance floor along with all the mid 2000's party anthem tracks of our college years (our request) so that everyone had an amazing time and felt included. He also made it super easy - two Google Docs pages of guidance and he turned that into everything audio/visual for the 14 hours of ceremony and reception. We could not be happier with the result and Mehul, we are so grateful for the unforgettable experience you gave us!

My fiancé and I worked very closely with the Garden…read moreTuscana team and we opted to leverage many of their preferred vendors, one of which was AZ DJ Entertainment. My fiancé and I had a few meetings with Jerry, the owner, a few months before our big day. He had a questionnaire to fill out, which was more daunting than I'd expected! But Jerry was very understanding and patient with us in the few meetings we had with him. I could tell quickly that he understood our vibe and vision. It was even a few weeks before our wedding and we still hadn't selected the first dance song, and he played multiple songs for us, trying to help us narrow it down. I was also appreciative that Jerry allowed us to make a Spotify playlist of many of the songs we wanted to help showcase the vibe we were going for. It was much easier than having to write down a bunch of song names and artists. I was excited to have Jerry there for the big day since he had been the one we'd had all of the convos with and he was the owner. However, unfortunately about the week before our wedding, he let us know that he wasn't going to be able to make it and had another team member of his, named Los, take over. I was a tad hesitant about this, but Jerry and I spoke live the day before my wedding and hashed out all of the details (I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of stressed that day, so I appreciate him taking all of my questions, some of which I asked multiple times just to double and triple check that we were on the same page!). Things ended up going really well with Los and he was a good stand in for Jerry on the big day. I feel like the dance floor had many folks on it at all times and Los knew what to play. Many times, he'd play songs that weren't on our Spotify playlist, but he knows better than us what's going to get the crowd going. Even a few months after our wedding, I was at another wedding and someone who was a guest at ours went out of her way to tell me how amazing our DJ was. It made me happy to hear how much fun people had on our dance floor. Thank you, Los! Only a few minor things that I wish would have happened differently: 1) When we met with Jerry, he walked us through the "Anniversary Dance," which I was familiar with as it's common at other weddings I've been to. He said that at the end of the anniversary dance, the last couple standing (which I knew would be my grandparents who have been married over 65 years and had traveled from Ohio) gets to share a few words of wisdom/advice for the couple. I was excited about this and wanted to know what my grandparents would say. Well unfortunately, Los must have a different approach because that didn't end up happening. It was kind of like "Ok last couple, great! Now moving onto the next thing!" I was bummed my grandparents didn't get to give a brief speech. 2) My husband and his groomsmen did a coordinated line dance and it was NEVER announced! I only found out about it after the fact, even though I was right in the vicinity. If the groom and his groomsmen are going to do a line dance, it should be announced so that we can all watch. To this day, it's the main "regret" I have at my wedding (which I can't even call a regret because I didn't even know it was happening!) I had to relive it though other people's videos and I am very sad I missed it. This may have been more of a issue with my husband communicating to Los; however as a DJ, I'd hope they'd at least get on the mic and draw attention to the dance floor and say that the groomsmen have something special prepared, etc. 3) The last thing is that they never announced that there were leftovers and people could get seconds. Which again, may be more of a Garden Tuscana thing than a DJ thing. But given these two companies work together often, you'd think they'd have that figured out. We had SO many leftovers and a few guests talked about how they wish they could have gotten seconds. So there is definitely a missed opportunity in how that could have been announced (which is usually something the DJ does). Other than that, we really enjoyed the atmosphere that Arizona DJ Entertainment provided for us and our guests the day of our wedding. I would recommend them for your wedding needs. And if you get married at Garden Tuscana, I'd definitely use them because they are part of the package and are in that location often, so know how to use it. We also upgraded to the enhanced lighting, which I loved! Really elevated the mood, and it's only something you can do if you go with them as your DJ vendor.

He was on point with all his timings for the ceremony, grand entrance, and the whole reception. Jesse took all song requests from the guests and had a smile the whole time while doing it. He would come up to us and make sure that we were enjoying the music choices he was picking that weren't on our list. I wish I had more events coming up because I wouldn instantly use Jesse before anyone else. I will definitely be referring Jesse to my friends and anyone I know getting married or having an event in the near future!! Not only was Jesse an amazing Dj but the owner of the company was so amazing in explaining the process of how the Dj would work during our whole evening.
