I got married in June 2024 at Garden Tuscana. My fiancé and I worked very closely with the Garden Tuscana team and we opted to leverage many of their preferred vendors, one of which was AZ DJ Entertainment. My fiancé and I had a few meetings with Jerry, the owner, a few months before our big day. He had a questionnaire to fill out, which was more daunting than I'd expected! But Jerry was very understanding and patient with us in the few meetings we had with him. I could tell quickly that he understood our vibe and vision. It was even a few weeks before our wedding and we still hadn't selected the first dance song, and he played multiple songs for us, trying to help us narrow it down. I was also appreciative that Jerry allowed us to make a Spotify playlist of many of the songs we wanted to help showcase the vibe we were going for. It was much easier than having to write down a bunch of song names and artists. I was excited to have Jerry there for the big day since he had been the one we'd had all of the convos with and he was the owner. However, unfortunately about the week before our wedding, he let us know that he wasn't going to be able to make it and had another team member of his, named Los, take over. I was a tad hesitant about this, but Jerry and I spoke live the day before my wedding and hashed out all of the details (I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of stressed that day, so I appreciate him taking all of my questions, some of which I asked multiple times just to double and triple check that we were on the same page!). Things ended up going really well with Los and he was a good stand in for Jerry on the big day. I feel like the dance floor had many folks on it at all times and Los knew what to play. Many times, he'd play songs that weren't on our Spotify playlist, but he knows better than us what's going to get the crowd going. Even a few months after our wedding, I was at another wedding and someone who was a guest at ours went out of her way to tell me how amazing our DJ was. It made me happy to hear how much fun people had on our dance floor. Thank you, Los! Only a few minor things that I wish would have happened differently: 1) When we met with Jerry, he walked us through the "Anniversary Dance," which I was familiar with as it's common at other weddings I've been to. He said that at the end of the anniversary dance, the last couple standing (which I knew would be my grandparents who have been married over 65 years and had traveled from Ohio) gets to share a few words of wisdom/advice for the couple. I was excited about this and wanted to know what my grandparents would say. Well unfortunately, Los must have a different approach because that didn't end up happening. It was kind of like "Ok last couple, great! Now moving onto the next thing!" I was bummed my grandparents didn't get to give a brief speech. 2) My husband and his groomsmen did a coordinated line dance and it was NEVER announced! I only found out about it after the fact, even though I was right in the vicinity. If the groom and his groomsmen are going to do a line dance, it should be announced so that we can all watch. To this day, it's the main "regret" I have at my wedding (which I can't even call a regret because I didn't even know it was happening!) I had to relive it though other people's videos and I am very sad I missed it. This may have been more of a issue with my husband communicating to Los; however as a DJ, I'd hope they'd at least get on the mic and draw attention to the dance floor and say that the groomsmen have something special prepared, etc. 3) The last thing is that they never announced that there were leftovers and people could get seconds. Which again, may be more of a Garden Tuscana thing than a DJ thing. But given these two companies work together often, you'd think they'd have that figured out. We had SO many leftovers and a few guests talked about how they wish they could have gotten seconds. So there is definitely a missed opportunity in how that could have been announced (which is usually something the DJ does). Other than that, we really enjoyed the atmosphere that Arizona DJ Entertainment provided for us and our guests the day of our wedding. I would recommend them for your wedding needs. And if you get married at Garden Tuscana, I'd definitely use them because they are part of the package and are in that location often, so know how to use it. We also upgraded to the enhanced lighting, which I loved! Really elevated the mood, and it's only something you can do if you go with them as your DJ vendor. read more

Jesse is what every event Dj shouldn aspire to be. From the time he arrived to the time he left Jesse was so personable and making sure that he was playing the music that us and our guests wanted to listen to. He was on point with all his timings for the ceremony, grand entrance, and the whole reception. Before the beginning of the wedding he made sure to confirm the correct order of everything that way there were no hiccups. Jesse took all song requests from the guests and had a smile the whole time while doing it. He would come up to us and make sure that we were enjoying the music choices he was picking that weren't on our list. I wish I had more events coming up because I wouldn instantly use Jesse before anyone else. I will definitely be referring Jesse to my friends and anyone I know getting married or having an event in the near future!! Not only was Jesse an amazing Dj but the owner of the company was so amazing in explaining the process of how the Dj would work during our whole evening. We knew that the music was going to be one of the most important parts of our wedding planning and DJ Los & Arizona's DJ Entertainment did not disappoint! My now husband and I consider ourselves music people - not the couple who live and die for the top 40 tracks. We appreciate the deep tracks and are pretty selective with our beats. Picking the DJ was something we were both nervous about knowing how important it is. When we met Los, we felt at peace. Both Josie and Los were great in taking the time to review our forms, have a few meetings, and then a follow-up call just a few days leading up to our big day. Los even coordinated with another live musician, who was playing our first dance, so everyone was on the same page. This team brought our vision to life! My fiance knew we wanted to play songs that reminded our family and friends of us, and vice versa, so we created a Spotify playlist to include our favorite songs. Los did an amazing job of playing not only these songs, but weaving in similar songs that got the dance floor moving! It's like he intuitively knew when to cut a track, when to add some spice, and when to take it slow. He knew the right timing and even got some great aunts on the dance floor! He was even gracious with our unique German guest requested songs! Would highly recommend the professionalism, kindness, and creativity of Arizona's DJ Entertainment for any event! read more

Jerry was our wedding DJ last week and he was incredible!! He not only brought awesome music, played all our favorites/requests but also kept us on track for time. He made sure we got to all important wedding events (ie. cake cutting, special dances, garter toss). He got the crowd on their feet and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. Jerry Topete is the most phenomenal DJ in the world. Jerry not only DJd my Quinceanera, but my wedding as well. He has become like family at this point. He is a master at that he does in all ways, shapes and forms. When I called him to tell him my wedding was coming up, I could feel the joy he shared with me. We met up to talk about our vision, our plans, ideas. He recommended songs for me to walk down the aisle to, to dance with my dad to, he made suggestions on wedding timeline, and on ways to make the party more fun for everyone. Since our wedding was completely bilingual, Jerry was the perfect MC as well- he understood all our song choices and worked with us for fun mashups. Although I did not know it at the time, he was working with my now husband to plan a surprise dance with the groomsmen. They planned it out so wonderfully! Jerry combined sections of 10 songs to make this happen. My husband says he had SO much fun working with Jerry on this. Days before the wedding, we met with him again for our final meeting. We had such specific requests because of all we planned for our ceremony: we needed extra equipment and were worried about little things so Jerry took the time from his insanely busy schedule and drove all the way to our church (over an hr drive) to make sure everything would connect right and to be ready for the wedding. He is so thoughtful. He gave us the music so we could practice with it at rehearsal as well. The day of the wedding, he arrived so early to set things up at the church and everything flowed PERFECTLY. Magically he moved everything to the hotel for cocktail hour and the reception. He entertained all the guests and kept the program moving smoothly. Guests say they did not even notice everything was bilingual because Jerry executed it so well. When dancing started, Jerry got EVERYONE to dance!! We did not stop until 1 am. He is truly truly the most amazing DJ and such a wonderful man.
