He was very prompt in responding, and answered all our questions/concerns thoroughly. We had 2 ceremonies and 1 reception all in one day, and DJ Riz was very accommodating to our needs. He was very understanding and patient when it came to putting our song selections together, and made sure to clarify any discrepancies/missing items. DJ Skillz was our DJ on-site and he was AMAZING! To give you an idea, this was a Gujarati and Malayalee wedding, but we had a broad range of ages and cultures in our guestlist. DJ Skillz had them ALL on the dancefloor! I'm talking our 80 year young grandmothers, the Priestess, the Pastor, they were all busting moves. The atmosphere Skillz created with his music was exactly the kind of vibe we were hoping for. Both Desi and non-Desi guests have told us they had such an amazing time on the dancefloor, and wished the dancefloor was open longer! ZERO STARS -- One of the Most Distressing Vendor Experiences of My Career…read more I am a professional wedding planner writing this review on behalf of my couple, and I want to be very clear: in my ten years in this industry, I have never felt such shock, stress, or sadness for a couple on their wedding day because of a vendor. The DJ assigned to the event--who is also the owner--arrived hours late, offered no communication, and was visibly in no condition to work. When he arrived, he became unable to stand without assistance. At no point did he notify us in advance that he was severely ill, which would have allowed us to bring in a replacement and spare the couple an enormous amount of unnecessary stress. Because he could not unload or set up his equipment, the groomsmen--on a day meant to be joyful and celebratory--spent hours doing it themselves. We were moments away from delaying the ceremony because we were simply trying to get basic equipment functioning. Throughout the night, the DJ was almost entirely unable to perform. A wedding guest ultimately stepped in as the MC. The DJ spent most of the event resting in the groom's suite, and during the brief moments he attempted to be at his table, he did not appear able to operate his setup. The groomsmen then had to tear down and load all of the equipment at the end of the night as well. It was heartbreaking to watch the wedding party and guests fill roles they should never have been put in. This is not what anyone envisions for their wedding day. What has been especially difficult is what followed. Despite full transparency about what occurred, the owner has declined to issue any refund, stating that "services were performed." Given that the majority of the work was done by the wedding party and guests, this response has been incredibly disheartening. For additional context, the owner stepped in only because the originally assigned DJ had been unresponsive and unreliable in the weeks prior--a sign we hoped was isolated, but ultimately reflected a larger pattern. I am writing this review because I never want another couple to experience the level of anxiety, frustration, and disappointment this one endured. I strongly encourage future couples to choose a DJ service that is consistent, communicative, and prepared with proper contingency plans. A wedding day is far too important--and far too emotional--to be put at risk.

He claims it was based on how many songs I had already sung, but those of us who have done this before know that's not true. (I only sang 3 songs by myself and stood on the stage for 2 others to get my roomie up there singing) Now, I really was not that upset about it until the girl in front of me finished singing and then the owners of the restaurant got up and sand two songs. Excuse me, but who is making sure the bills get paid? I believe that would be the customers. I wasn't going to say anything but the more I think about it the more it makes me mad…read more.. So my daughter had her quinceanera last night and we had some issues with the DJ. The music was not what we had discussed and I specifically asked if he had worked a quinceanera before. I even gave him some artists to play by name and none of it was played. My daughter text him a list of some music to play and then the icing on the cake was when he mistakenly text my daughter that "this birthday party is getting on my nerves". He did apologize but it really upset my daughter and even if it was an "accident" because it should of went to someone else the fact of the matter is it didn't. Needless to say I will be very careful in who I use from Facebook from now on.
