If I could rate Steve as 10 Stars I would. He DJ'd our wedding last weekend and he was PERFECT!! We had specific songs at certain times and wanted the songs to fade out at times....EVERY single special moment (w/music) we planned, turned out PERFECT!! We had an age range of 10 up to 75 and he entertained the entire party. Our guests danced all night - he kept the music fun and always made sure we were happy with everything and didn't want him to change anything or play a certain song. We had to wrap the wedding up and get all our belongings out of the venue we booked by a certain time. We counted on quite a few family members to help but they ended up leaving. Steve pitched right in and started carrying cases of wine, beer, food, gifts, and loaded them all in our vehicles. He was a lifesaver - we wouldn't have been out in time and would have lost our deposit if it weren't for him. He didn't even think about it - just started carrying huge boxes out. My 13 year old daughter is begging me to have a party so he can DJ again. If you are looking for THE PERFECT DJ for wedding, bday party, graduation party, etc. I highly, highly recommend Steve. From Day 1, I knew Steve was the DJ for our wedding. He is so relaxed in nature (which was perfect for a high-strung bride like me, I needed his calming vibes!), but incredibly passionate and detail-oriented about his work. We spoke on the phone a few times to go over our vision for the music, and let Steve do the rest! He is incredible flexible and responsive to the event, as well as being fun and just a genuinely caring, nice person. My coworkers surprised me on the big day with a custom song that they commissioned for me, and Steve worked with my coordinator to play it at just the right moment during the reception - it was PERFECT! Steve also didn't bat an eye when I brought him YouTube links to songs that I wanted to use during the ceremony. He got the highest-quality versions of the music and it all sounded so beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about Steve and his work. He is incredibly affordable, professional, and easy to work with - and just a real sweetheart. Steve was a last minute add in to our wedding after Guitar Center fell through on us the day before the ceremony. We contacted him the day before, got the contract setup in the car, and he did everything for our reception. By running announcements, playing the playlists we set up, adding in song request, and setting up everything before and taking down after. He verified everything with us and nailed the schedule perfectly even with all the plan changes we had to go through. He also used WAY higher quality sound and video equipment than we could've ever rented, and his custom monogram was a beautiful edition for our wedding. He listened to our input (especially my bride), and was super flexible with everything. I'd give Dallas Event Audio 6/5 if I could, and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an amazing jack-of-all-trades DJ. read more

I don't know where to begin with my review....Steve is what pulled this whole wedding together. I yelped so many DJ's in the planning stages of my son's wedding because the DJ can make or break the event. I knew from the moment he called me that he was the right one. If you are still on the fence about any particular DJ to use for your wedding, stop looking, you've already found it. Steve from Dallas Event Audio was absolutely amazing! He made every effort to streamline the night, was extremely nice, well read, and helpful at every turn, always responded to emails within an acceptable amount of time, most times within five to ten minutes! On our day, we had decided to forgo a day-of coordinator in favor of just doing it ourselves. I mean, what could go wrong? But after a talk with Steve, he VOLUNTEERED to be the day of coordinator for the entire wedding, and performed his duties BOTH to a very high degree! Wow!! Steve went above and beyond my expectations in every way. I communicated via email with him about a month before the slideshow (with audio) for the wedding rehearsal dinner. He responded promptly and professionally each and every time I had a question. On the date of the event, he showed up a few minutes EARLIER than our appointment to make certain everything would be A-OK. He quickly figured out the set-up, and how to put a sheet up to project on the uneven wall in the partially lit room. He set up the audio and video in such a way that all the guests were treated to a professional treatment of a home-made (but pretty darn good!) slideshow. Steve is legit! I sent him an email about 3 weeks out from my tiny little elopement type wedding and he responded almost immediately. He provided me a quote for a generator and his DJ services, which was extremely reasonable, and I am so happy I decided to go with him! My husband and I got married the weekend after Thanksgiving and it was so cold that day, but Steve was there! I cannot recommend Steve enough. Seriously, he's amazing. Not only was he great at keeping our guests dancing all night long but he went out of his way to do things that weren't even in his job description to make the day run smoothly. I contacted Steve to manage lighting and sound for a large conference seating 500 people. Steve worked with me and through many changes to make sure we had all the mics we needed, the lights working and the projectors up and running for powerpoint, video and room sound. Steve was dedicated to make sure the conference went off without a hitch.
