From our initial meeting, the folks at Spotlight set me at ease and had me convinced the music at my event was going to be exactly what I wanted, when I wanted. Professional throughout the entire process, Spotlight went above the call of duty precisely hitting every moment of music we selected for our wedding ceremony and keeping my guests dancing well into the night during our reception. Craig acted as MC for the event, and was extremely professional and more importantly fun....which was contagious and drove the dance party that ensued. I was completely blown away with the value of Spotlight Entertainment as well. Very affordable AND they kept the music going right up until the venue told us it was time to go (which was a little bit past the time we agreed on!)..... Pictures to come!

We've been working with him over the past 10 months or so planning our wedding and he's been so awesome. Not only is Dave one of the friendliest people I've ever met, he's an amazing DJ. Our wedding was a non-stop party. Dave knew exactly what music to play when and unlike most weddings, our reception never experienced even one slow moment. Honestly, people were on the dance floor from start to finish. We do have awesome friends and family, but Dave really gets the credit for keeping up the momentum all night. We'll use Dave for all future functions in our lives and recommend him to all of our friends.

I Googled and got some nice ink on their previous gigs. This party was themed "end-of Summer celebrfation" , to be honest I was hoping for a positive theme that won't bum me out!!! but when I read that: 'We offer a high-energy nightclub experience at Local Venues, Schools, Colleges, Bars and actual NightClubs througout New England. Our incredible line-up of Club DJs and Celebrity DJs know how to work a dance floor into a FRENZY! In addition to incredible music & sound, our club lighting, atmosphere and dancers will take you to a new level of nightlife that will leave you begging for MORE! ' I was begging for a great time, and I got it. The only reason that I gave it a four star is because RAIN night club did not conceal the Construction (enlargement) that was taking place on the other side, and someone left the large concealing Curtain open which took away from the experience, and one of the bartenders did not know how to make "Russian Mule".. my drink of choice.

Started with a simple call with Barry (Principal) about a year out and he told us he personally was available on the night of our wedding. Barry is a firecracker and the energy within him is contagious. He talked about all the things that set him apart from other event companies in the Boston area. Highest of materials from Germany on his uplighting and his pin lights. Talked about the white dance floor he has and what makes it different than others. We got a price from him and told him we would get back to him. Over the next week, we reached out to a few other event companies and al a carte service providers and realized at the end of the day Barry was the way to go with one of his packages!! As soon as we were under contract with him with received a very comprehensive package to start crafting our event to be what we wanted as much as using the techniques Barry knows work.... Occasionally we got texts from Barry checking in and calls just to get to know us. He wanted to know who he was going to be representing on our special night and we loved this part of Barry. He truly cares about the people he works with and the behind the scenes work he does for an event is unbelievable. About a week before the event we had a zoom call with our event planner and Barry Tobin out the details, go over name pronunciations and song edits for first dance, spotlight dances and grand entrances. Barry wasn't checking his watch because a meeting that was supposed to be one hour was over 2 hours and left everyone ready for the day!! Barry also informed us he personally went to the venue ahead of this meeting to get a feel for the room.... It showed the day of!! Now we fast forward to the wedding day.... The venue (Danversport) gave an unrealistic get ready time for the vendors involved in this event. Barry brought his team in at pre 8am to lay the dance floor down knowing he wasn't going to have the needed time with only 1.5 hours of setup that Danversport was allowing per contract. I got videos from Barry pulling up to the venue on a bright and sunny day as he wasn't getting himself and his team ready to start "building out the box."' I used this line the entire day and still because the room we had was made stunning by the uplighting, pin lights, shinny dance floor, LED DJ station and of course the work of our amazing florist (separate review). The room was transformed and it was amazing to see the amount of people on Barry's team running around in PTE shirts setting up outside drones, video for the ceremony, Lav mics for the ceremony and music for the cocktail hour. It was unbelievable!!!! My guests are STILL talking about this wedding and we owe a major thank you to Barry and the team at PTE. The lighting was stunning in this room and it really did transform the venue from very nice to stunning!!!

From the very…read morebeginning of the planning process, Jonathan was attentive, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to answer all of our questions and address every concern, and we truly appreciated how available and willing he was to make time for us throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, Jonathan was incredibly prepared and professional. His equipment and setup helped everything transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then into the reception. But what really stood out was his ability to read the room and create exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. One of my biggest wedding-day fears was that no one would dance, and Jonathan completely put that fear to rest! His energy had our guests ready to dance before it was even officially time to hit the dance floor. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night and only cleared when the night was over and we were literally being sent home! He perfectly blended our love of house music with songs that would get guests of all ages on the dance floor. He understood exactly what we were looking for musically while still knowing how to keep the entire room engaged. My almost 77 year old grandma was sore the next day because she literally danced all night long! Jonathan played such a huge role in making our reception so much fun and memorable. We had the absolute best time, and so many of our guests commented on how great the music and energy were. If you're looking for a DJ who is professional, attentive, prepared, and knows how to keep a dance floor full, DJ Jonathan Berube and Epic Entertainment are the ones for you!

Sheldon was able to accommodate our more complex requests such as custom music and even provided a mic to my friend so she could sing during the pre-ceremony. I can't thank him enough for being so open to my asks and easy to communicate with during the process. I had also forgotten to add the recessional music to our music requests form. Without batting an eye, Sheldon quickly added my last minute song choice and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. He seamlessly MC'd and kept the music bumping throughout the night so there was still a crowd at the very end. Friends told us they thought the DJ was amazing and that they had never seen guests enter the dance floor so quickly and pack the area. One friend even asked us for Epic Entertainment's contact info so he could request Sheldon's services for his wedding.
