Gary gave us a memorable and wonderful experience for my wedding. He was very professional and organized. He was able to adapt when we fell behind the timed schedule but most importantly, was knowledgeable on various genres of music we wanted to play for our wedding. He kept the vibe alive and people dancing through the entire day. We couldn't ask for more to make our day feeling so special. read more

For our wedding, I wanted a DJ that would keep my guest entertained, be helpful, accommodating, and of course affordable. DJ Gary is all of this and more. He was on top of things during the planning process offering suggestions in a casual yet professional atmosphere. He addressed my concerns and helped me plan formulate a wonderful schedule for the wedding. On the day of the wedding he was early and in tip top shape. He played the music well and kept the guests entertained. He helped keep things running along smoothly with the photographers ensuring we got many good pictures and with the staff. We would definitely choose DJ Gary again! read more

My wife & I (I'm using her account; I'm the husband, just in case y'all were thinkin weird) hired our brother in Christ "DJ GARY" to host our wedding. Not only was it a memorable day/evening, but his performance and music was off the HOOK If we were to recommend any DJ for ANY TYPE OF ENGAGEMENT......DJ GARY'S the name. He has the VARIETY for the type of SOCIETY. read more

We booked Gary to be the DJ for our wedding, and from the very first moment we spoke on the phone with him we knew we made the right choice! He was able to get us so pumped up and excited just from the dry run of how he was going to be doing things at the reception, we could only imagine how it would be at the actual wedding. He listened to all of our requests, and was very accommodating and had so many great ideas we would have never thought of on our own. It was so nice to deal with someone as polite and professional as Gary during the madness of planning a wedding. He is so organized with his time line, that it helped to take a lot of the pressure off myself and my groom so we could enjoy every aspect of our big day! I have always believed that a DJ will make or break your wedding, and I know that we will not be disappointed! There is no doubt in my mind that Gary will send our guests home with great memories of our special day! read more

I've used Gary's services on multiple occasions, still the best in the industry. He WILL exceed your expectations!

Gary provided DJ service for our wedding. He was professional and very helpful. He met with us twice before the wedding, gave time line ideas and advice, as well as song recommendations. The day of the wedding he arrived with plenty of time to set-up. The music arrangements provided were set in a manner to distinctly separate the order of events happening throughout the day. Gary not only was our DJ, but our MC as well, announcing all the going on throughout the day. Gary was a key part of helping the day flow and provided an enjoyable ambiance for our guest as well as fun party time for dancing. We highly recommend Gary for any event. The Montanez's read more

Gary is awesome!!! We hired him to dj our wedding on 05/26/12. I had previously heard him dj at my cousin's wedding a few years prior where he wowed me by mixing in the "COPS" them song when a helicopter was shining a light at her outdoor reception. Very comedic solution to the unusual event of a police helicopter interrupting a wedding reception. I was one of those brides that wants to do as much as I can on my own so I decided not to hire a wedding planner not even one for the day of. Who needs a day of planner when you have Gary? He asked me for a timeline to discuss when things would happen during the reception. I told him I had no idea and within 10 minutes we had a timeline for the grand entrance, dinner, toast, first dance, parent dances, garter/bouquet toss and cake cutting. Awesome!!! We also discussed all of our songs for the grand entrance and dances. He also plays them for you and if he doesn't have a song he'll ask your the artist's name so he can get it. We did have a bit of a problem with our 1st dance because I changed the first dance song and he ended up playing the wrong song. But it wasn't his fault because neither he nor I had any idea that there were 2 versions of the song by the same artist. He quickly remedied the situation by playing our 1st choice for the first dance song. But being a determined bride (or slightly bridezilla) I immediately pulled out my ipod out of my purse so we could have the song. (Don't ask me why I had an ipod or a purse, I just did.) I REALLLLY cared about the 1st dance. So if you decide to change your song after your initial meeting make sure you have the right version of it. My family was being kind of lame but the grooms family was definitely taking advantage of the awesome music. We have really varied taste in music and then you throw in the spanish music and it becomes even crazier. Not a problem for Gary. He even made sure that our banned music, aka - Single Ladies, was not played, not even by request. The best part of the night was that he's was able to let us have fun with our guests. A member of our bridal party is named Eric Estrada so we decided to have him play the CHIPS them song when his name was announced. I'm not sure if our guests got the joke but the groom and I loved it. Oh, I almost forgot, Gary wase there way earlier than you we paid him to be because he wants to make sure he's ready. He also wanted to be there in case our Mariachi didn't show. Gary is also good at coordinating with the venue staff to make sure everything runs smoothly and checks in regularly to make sure everything is ok. I would definitely recommend Gary, he's worth every penny. read more

DJ Gary is wonderful, I am a vendor as well (Hawaiian Island Music) and recently worked a wedding with him. He is great from start to finish. Gary has a great Emcee voice, pleasant personality, and keeps the flow of activities during the reception part of the wedding. His speakers and equipment are top notch, in fact my band plugged into his system and it sounded great! Overall, I highly recommend him for your next wedding or event. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Gary! read more

I found out about DJ Gary at a birthday party i went to and i really liked how he played a diverse range of music for all the people there to enjoy. I really enjoyed his music and lights he had, so chose DJ Gary to dj my "Glow in the Dark" themed party. Weeks before the party, he asked me a lot of questions and made sure he knew everything about the party, and accepted all sorts of music requests, it was great how he knew just the right things to ask; you can tell he is a professional. The day of the party, he came 2 hours early free of charge to set up the system, and the lights. It looked amazing!!! We had a full light show, DJ Gary's Music for 5 hours (7pm-12am), all for a VERY great price. He played every single song we requested. And he made sure everyone was having fun and on the dance floor. I liked that he catered to everyones musical taste, even though it was mainly teens, he got the older adults on the floor too! I will DEFINATLEY use DJ Gary for every other event we have!! read more

Let me start by saying that if I could give 10 stars, I would. DJ Gary DJ'd my daughters sweet 16 tonight and did an an amazing job! And thank you Yelp for helping me find a great DJ! read more

We love DJ Gary. Used him twice. The guests from our first party requested him when we threw another party. He is a lot of fun, reliable, and so easy to work with. For teenagers or retirement parties, Gary is the man. He literally rescued our last party because the venue and the food were pretty bad. It could have been a bummer party but DJ Gary ensured it was a great time. read more

My wife and I was stressing over a good DJ for our wedding and I came across DJ Gary on the internet, and I had done a lot of screening, let me tell you. I too, also DJ and I had very high expectations and he met each and every one! He even went above and beyond! He was on time for meetings, responded to our every question, was early to set up at our wedding, very professional and was very reasonable on price! Most DJ's are over price and are not very good with the mic and if kids are at the party, he can censor out music very well. DJ Gary and his wife did a very wonderful job, made sure all names were right on our wedding list, ran our schedule, BOTTOM LINE........THIS IS THE DJ TO HIGHER FOR ANY EVENT!!!! I know I will! THANKS GARY FOR MAKING OUR DAY EXTRA SPECIAL AND GOOD SONG CHOICES! read more

Gary DJ'd our wedding in July 2010 and he did an absolutely amazing job. We discovered him at a bridal show where we were having our wedding. We decided on hiring him as our DJ based on the music he was playing and his demeanor that night. Before our event he sat down with us on several occasions to come up with an itinerary for our wedding night as well as a list of music. He has an enormous music library and was able to sample songs for us that he felt would be a good addition to the songs we had requested. For our first dance song we wanted a specific version of a popular wedding song. Although he didn't have the exact version we wanted, he went out of his way to get it and was able to play it for us. During our wedding Gary did a phenomenal job working with our photographer and the wait staff to make sure that the night progressed smoothly and according to schedule. He also approached us several times throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how the night was coming along and asked if he could do anything to make it better. Throughout the night neither me, nor my wife, heard Gary play a song that we didn't like. He did an amazing job of reading the dance floor and playing music that kept people out of their seats and on the floor. His sound system was loud and powerful enough to fill the room without being over the top. We received several comments from our guests specifically complimenting Gary as the best wedding DJ they've ever heard, and we feel the same way too. To us, Gary filled a role larger than just being a DJ and we thank him for taking control of the night and keeping our wedding fun and our guests entertained. Gary was always easy to get in contact with whether it was by phone or e-mail. Anytime we had a request, suggestion, or wanted to make a change to our itinerary he was quick to respond and always attentive to our needs. He was even OK with us moving up our wedding date by one month after we had already booked him for a Saturday in August. Gary is a DJ with decades of experience and he shows it with his professionalism, creativity, and music library. Based on the price we paid and the services received, Gary was an excellent deal. We highly recommend him to anyone that is considering hiring a DJ. read more

Yes, 5 stars for DJ Gary!!! I first met DJ Gary at a national convention last year and his music and skills kept the party going and with high energy. After that, my fiancee contracted Gary to be our DJ/Master of Ceremony for our wedding reception. Our expectations were completely exceeded with Gary because of his professionalism, attention to detail, great music and his passion to make sure everything was perfect for us. He gave us great value for our money and we were all VERY happy with his services. Gary will always be my DJ of choice for any future event I host. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable! DJ Gary wowed from the first meeting. You could tell from the beginning that he had been doing this for many years. It was a long meeting but it definitely helped because he helped us create a timeline for the wedding. Which we didn't even have.We felt so unprepared. Gary is more than just a DJ, he was like a wedding planner. He helped us pick out music for the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the dancing. We liked how he started playing music and we just let him know which we liked and which we didn't and from there we created a playlist for throughout the whole day. At first I had to admit we thought he would be expensive. But he ended up being pretty affordable and great at what he did. He was very prompt the day of the wedding. He arrived there 30 mins early and talked with our Officiant. In the second meeting Gary even went above and beyond to make a custom song for me to walk down the aisle to. We liked this one song from youtube but it was kind of cheesy. So he had his friend who played the piano create a better and clearer version of the song and recorded it for us. It turned out beautiful! Day of the wedding he brought his own equipment and some lighting. It sounded and looked great! During the meeting he had asked us what our theme colors were and he matched it on the day of. The playlist went well and on point that the music sounded great! We liked that he played music for everyone's taste and we really loved it! Everything went great as planned and coordinated on the timeline like our grand entrance song, first dance, the toast, and etc. We had a blast dancing on the dance floor, So much so that my calves hurt the next morning!! He was a great DJ overall and more as mentioned above! For food we had buffet style and he even directed people when to go so no one ran over themselves to go get food. We can't thank him enough. We recommend him to anyone and we'll definitely book him for another event! read more

Gary was a great DJ/MC. I had a huge wedding and Gary kept the dance floor full and kept the night going. With over 250 people at my wedding, the ones that I talked to had a great time, mostly in part to Gary's ability to read the crowd and get the music flowing! Awesome job Gary! read more

We met DJ Gary while looking at a wedding venue. He provided us with his business card and we knew based on his personality that we wanted him as our DJ at our wedding. We booked Gary (8) months out from our wedding. We had (3) meetings in preparation and emailed several times with music selections for our big day. We told Gary we wanted him to be our MC and to keep us on track with all of the procedural thing that we needed to do. He prepared an itinerary and time line of events for us. On the day of our wedding Gary arrived early as did our live band. I went to the venue to see how the set up was going. I found Gary working with our band (they have never met before) as they put together a plan to provide us with the best possible entertainment. During the reception Gary did an outstanding job working with the catering staff, he kept us on our time line and kept everyone dancing. If you need a professional DJ for your special event DJ Gary won't let you down. Gary, thank you for making our wedding day memorable. A & L read more

Gary is on time & professional. From an 80s party, to a wedding, to a corporate party... He's always done a great job.

I cannot say enough good things about Gary. He is AMAZING. I was so impressed with everything he did. I HIGHLY recommend him. You won't be disappointed. I had a big birthday party for my wife with over 100 guests in November, 2012. I found Gary on Yelp after looking at a lot of other DJs. It's hard to find people on Yelp that you can trust to do a good job. I've been disappointed before. With Gary, he was the best part of my party. He showed up well before the party begin (I didn't have to stress about it). He had a great attitude and I could tell he cared about making my party a success. I didn't even expect this, but Gary came with very cool lighting that he set up all over the place. It really created a great atmosphere. He was so prepared. I was already impressed before the party even begin. Once the party started, our dance floor was packed the whole night. He knew just the music to play to keep the party raging. There was never a low spot in the entire evening. I cannot thank you enough Gary. I will use you again at our next party. Thank you so much! You are welcome to have anyone call or email me for a reference. read more

Gary was our DJ for our wedding on January 22, 2011. Our reception had over 250 guests and a big party meant big responsibilities and lots of organization. Aside from ensuring everything went as planned, I wanted my wife and I to enjoy our big day, and thanks to DJ Gary it was possible. He was always there helping us in anything we needed, and making sure everything ran smoothly. His music and his enthusiasm also set the perfect atmosphere.
