They have a lot of different flavors and I think I just got the wrong one. I don't recommend the coffee jellies. I tried a more fruity one and that was solid, nothing materially better than any other boba place, but just a solid options. Parking is a little annoying in the complex but it's navigable. Service was super patient and helpful, really appreciated that aspect of coming here and it's probably why I would return.

I visited DIY Tea Lab this weekend for the first time. I have never been to this location. It is nestled amongst several stores in this strip mall. This tea place shares a kitchen with Just Poke, so you can enter that restaurant and you will find yourself in Boba heaven, too! The server greeted us warmly and waited patiently as we took some time to figure out what we wanted to order. My son ordered a classic Ruby Black Milk Boba Tea with 50% sugar and I ordered a Blue Ocean sparkling water with 25% sweetness. I appreciate the fact they allowed me to dial in the amount of sweetness I preferred. The seating area was clean, quiet, and peaceful. I appreciated the fact they compost and recycle at this location, too. Bonus- My son and I had fun battling a Pokemon Go Gym and making new friends there in the process!

I ordered a mango smoothie with tapioca boba and lychee jelly. The smoothie was good and enjoyed my add ons. This place is shared with a pole store so it's really a good idea. You can order food and drink that go well together. The service was fast and accurate. She was on a roll doing orders as she received a couple. The place was clean. People were nice and explain if you had questions. Will definitely come back and try other things they offer and maybe order a Poké. Parking is not a problem at all. Lots of spaces and safe.

I had a good experience at the Ballard DIY Tea Lab location, so I figured since I was in Mill Creek, I would give this one a try too. As with the other location, the boba shop shares a storefront with Just Poke, making it a nice place to pick up both lunch and a drink. I wonder if all the other locations also have this signature pairing in place? I dropped by on a weekend during lunch and there was a line of 5 or 6 people waiting to order the poke but no one in line for drinks. There's a kiosk right on the counter to easily input my order, and I had my drink within a minute or two. Classic Milk Tea, 50% Sugar, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.70) - The milk tea is surprisingly pretty good, with a nice fragrance of assam tea leaves. They add just the right balance of creamer so that it adds body to the drink but doesn't overwhelm the tea. The sugar they add is a good amount less than competitors, giving a drink that's perfectly not-too-sweet for my tastes at 50%. Similar to a lot of other places, they do use a fructose machine, so I wonder where the difference comes from. The boba served at this DIY Tea Lab is harder than my preference. The pearls are pretty uniformly smooth and round, with a small bit of stickiness to the exterior, but the centers have a somewhat hard bite which reduces the amount of chew in each pearl. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 The drinks here seem to be pretty good. There aren't too many choices for boba around Mill Creek, but this is a solid one. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms. One was blocked off on my visit, so I'm not sure if it's functional.

The DIY Tea Lab in Mill Creek shares a spot with Just Poke. It's very convenient because I often go in to grab food and a drink for dessert. Their drinks are good but there's a lot of competition that does it a bit better. There are a couple tables inside and some bigger tables outside if the weather is nice. Service was fast and staff were friendly.

Service was great. Everything else was mediocre at best. The cups have lids that pop off while you're trying to shake it, and it's bland as heck. It's inside a poke place which is weird. Inside is small with 2 little tables, but lots of outdoor seating.

Bubble tea close by? Why yes please. Tucked in the side street at Mill Creek Town Center you will find this place sharing a store with Go Poke. They have a really easy to use ordering system in the store or online and it comes out pretty quickly. Been here a couple times and make sure you come earlier in The day. Couple times we have stopped by after dinner and they are out of boba which is a crime. Sort of like a Chinese restaurant running out of rice. Overall good drinks and I will be back!

Ordered 3 drinks just as a wake up call on a Sunday morning and boy did they help my friends but it didnt help me. My friends ordered the Let That Man'go Smoothie and the Taro Lover Milk Tea with regular sweetness, regular ice, and lychee. I ordered the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with regular sweetness, less ice, and boba. Both loved their drinks. Mango was sweet and chunky as described. Taro was sweet and smooth. For me, there was no brown sugar at all. It was basically milk tea with a pinch of brown sugar syrup. No matter how many times i mixed it, thinking i was crazy, i wasnt and there was nothing. Overall, i probably would only order anything but the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk. I will give something else a try when im back in the area.

Is there really anything bad to say about milk tea? Some friends and I stopped by and were able to snag a seat at the one table inside to enjoy our milk teas. I probably drank mine way too fast, as I found myself wanting more to sip on while we talked. It was nice to have a place to sit and enjoy our drinks instead of having to take it outside where it was cold, dark, and rainy. Would love to try some of the fruitier flavors but somehow always end up sticking with the milk/tea-based ones. One day. I swear.

My first time at the DIY tea lab! It's DIY in the sense of picking the level of sweetness, milk and toppings (boba, jelly etc). The boba place is attached to Just poke so it's helpful if you also wanna grab a bite to eat. The staff was super polite and helpful and even recommended some of their most liked drinks for us. There are plenty of options to choose from! I picked the strawberry fresh milk with boba and 25% sweetness. The boba was a good size and really refreshing. I'm officially a fruity milk tea convert now! There isn't much seating inside with just one table. But they have some outdoor seating and it's perfect for the season. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors, especially the lychee one.

The drinks are so amazing! I definitely recommend all the drinks in the photo! We ordered delivery btw. The flavors are really good and the drinks aren't that sweet. If you live nearby come here!

First time in milk creek! I've never been to this area before, I was driving by and needed some tea/ caffeine fix. DIY tea lab it is. It's like their other locations: Ballard: Fremont, they are joint: sharing with just poke. The lines were a little confusing. Long lines, turned out the wrong lines too. The Just poke staff seems helpful and we're trying to help the DIY ladies. They were sweet but at least when I came in, overwhelmed and very busy. I ordered matcha fresh milk with strawberry and boba. And brown sugar boba milk tea. They got the sweetness wrong as well as missing boba in my matcha drink. Seeing how busy they were, I took it and left. Didn't realize it till later. I did get the lychee jelly though so it wasn't all lost. Brown sugar, I had it with 50% sugar but it was way too sweet still. Overall, glad they are here. Very busy, long wait and few errors. Sweet ladies though.

I've tried their fruit tea and passion green tea. It's pretty good except that they don't use real fruits for the flavors.

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

When I went to check on my order I was met with a bunch of attitude pointing to a sign that they don't serve fast food and they only have two blenders. When I brought up one example of a person who ordered explicitly after me had been served before me, they said she had ordered before me (the customer let us go in front of her because she was still deciding when we came), waited 40 mins (when we had as well), and they fulfilled her order because she cancelled another part of her order... - If you only have two blenders, why are you blending other orders ahead of mine? A bunch of people ordered smoothies 30 mins after me and were all getting their orders shortly after purchasing. Very disappointed, especially as I had been 2 purchases away from filling up my rewards card with them and had not experienced treatment/wait time like this before. The kicker is that I found myself wishing that it was layered between the ice. If you don't mix it up well, you're pretty much left with only ice which also didn't have that creamy/milky flavor that's usually present in the other bingsus I've had. Overall, would love more condensed milk or flavor to the ice. The counter was being run but two younger people who were both really kind and quick to service the steady stream of customers.
