Well another group of ppl were hangin out with us since we're cool, an started to play music as well. By almost the end of the night neither one of us heard most of the songs we played so we complained about it. After our party was upset over the situation we left. While outside socializing a chic heard my homegirl say "bitch" an thought we called her one when in reality she was sayn "ain't that a bitch" but the chic was super drunk an heard it wrong. Anyways she went inside an told the bartender (who I guess no her) an he came outside rite as we were twinkling but remind you, there's only two bathrooms in the place that were full an we definitely wasn't gonna pee on our nice clothes, beside the fact we didn't wanna go back in after that incident...he asked us to leave an said we cnt ever come back ..my homies started talkn slick to him sayn they wnt ever be back ..we left and I'm thinkin all is cool so I went back a few wks later only to be told I cnt come back in becuz I was bein disrespectful, like really?? Of the 5 places we stopped at, Sammy's was the only one that I had not previously been to. It is also the only stop that I see myself not returning too. The joint is pretty small with a long wooden bar and the atmosphere is old school neighborhood dive bar. Equally as small was the hospitality from the lady behind the bar. We seemed to be interrupting her Candy Crush game or Facebook scrolling and she was in no mood for small talk, friendliness or any form of positive customer interaction that one expects when entering a watering hole. We ended up taking our beers outside to their less than spectacular patio, and left as soon as we could for a very cool experience 2 blocks north at the Colonial Club.

A large bar, a small stage area, 2 booths and a couple more tables for seating. A pool table and a large backyard patio area with a fire pit and a secondary bar for those busy summer weekends. DJ Bazooka Joe was spinning his collection of 45's from Rock and R&B's early days and kept the vibe hopping. I couldn't think of a better musical selection and DJ to keep everyone entertained. It is dark, dare I say a tad bit dingy, and I don't think they serve PBR, but Hamms is definitely offered. It's that kind of place...cold cans of beer aren't paired with a glass, and that's just okay. Just in case you're a tap beer person, be warned they almost exclusively carry LogBoat taps which are out of Columbia. So, if you aren't familiar with LogBoat Snapper IPA's, my personal choice, then you may be trying something new you aren't familiar with but, you won't be getting a domestic on draft. Also, did I mention there's a pool table? The food menu is comprised of a few well-done bar food options, most of which are served between two buns, but if pizza is more your beer buddy of choice have no fear because fortunati pizzeria is attached and available for ordering. But believe me, the sandwiches and fries are so worthy of an order. The now extinct fish sandwich was my favorite, but have no fear they have hinted at a new fish favorite (maybe a shrimp roll) being added to the menu soon. I can't wait to try the poutine promised to be loaded with cheese curds and smothered with brown gravy. Anything with those fries as a base is a money dish, I would suggest chili cheese fries of some sort for the fall because that would fit in nicely with the menu.
