I've been wanting to check this place out since I moved down the street a few years ago. The bartend was super friendly and happily explained the membership requirement. I also got to chat to a few of the regulars. It is an intimate space, but it was really nice. It is all bar stool seating and there's a step up into the bar and then another couple of steps to the bathroom. So not ADA friendly, but like most bars they're just dealing with the cards they were dealt in the early 1900s when they were opened! Over all, you should go check it out if you're interested in finding your own little local watering hole.

We ordered a side of fries to get some food in our belly and we certainly won't make that mistake again - processed mashed potatoes formed into fat spiral shapes are not French Fries!!! My only complaint. After the concert we crossed back over the tracks and paid $5 cover charge for more drinks and to listen to Dating Sarah - fantastic cover band that had the place rocking at 10pm. We stayed for 2 sets and had a great time. I really liked the old school dive bar vibe in an old building that seemed out of place for Johnson County's upper middle class suburban aesthetic. A repeat return for all my future Green Guitar events and maybe some pizza next time - and for the love of god Jerry, get a new french fry distributor.

I've rarely had a subpar experience at any of the locations nor was the case on this trip. I had the classic Three wings and fries and a couple tasty beverages and a lot of awesome camaraderie and fun! I really do think they have the best if not one of the top 3 chicken wings in the city. The bartenders are always nice and they keep the drinks full! The peanut is one of the few places that have been able to keep their prices moderate and their quality intact.
