. Document Review: Summary and Assessment Service Experience: Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise against using this business for any trailer-related services. I brought my trailer in for repairs, which included addressing several issues, with the primary concern being the malfunctioning trailer lights. Interaction with Business Owner The representative I dealt with, Jerry--who is also the owner--was extremely rude from the start. While some of the repairs were completed, the most important issue, which was repairing the trailer lights, remained unresolved. Jerry explained that he could not repair the trailer lights because he believed there were issues with my truck that prevented him from connecting the lights. Despite discussing and arguing with him about the trailer light connection, he did not resolve the problem. Billing and Outcome: After this unsatisfactory interaction, I decided to leave the business. I was presented with an invoice totaling $600.00 for approximately three hours of labor, which I felt was excessive given that my main concern was not fixed. I paid the invoice, but I was left dissatisfied with the service provided. Resolution at a Different Business: I then visited another business, where the main issue with my trailer lights was successfully resolved in less than 30 minutes. However, this required me to spend an additional $200.00. read more

If you need trailer parts Dixie Trailer Supply has just about everything right there, in stock. So many other places even when they say they have it, they only mean they have access to it by ordering it. It's amazing that they can get such a big inventory into such a small space. I needed a wheel and some bearings for a boat trailer that I couldn't get elsewhere. Here at Dixie Trailer Supply it wasn't a problem. They had it right there in stock, ready to go. read more

Dixie Trailer Supply - Trailer Dealers Near Me - Wilton Manors, Florida

Very kind business owners. They were very informative as to what modifications can or can not be done on my trailer, as well as The life expectancy of my used trailer. I've purchased many other items from their shop and their prices are reasonable and the quality of items holds up top notch, high quality products. They have a repair department and a retail sales department as well. So if you're looking for any repairs, parts or accessories for your trailer this would definitely be the place. They were kind enough to hold onto my trailer for me until my truck was out of the shop from repair. Like I said very kind business owners will definitely be a returning customer 10 out of 10 business . Highly recommended! read more

Stopped in here today for some propane parts on my pop up camper. The gentleman who helped me is Turkish and I told him about my trips to Turkey when I was in the Navy. Anyway, the guy helped me with what I needed and was very friendly. This place is about the size of a convenience store and looks like an RV general store inside. I'll definitely be back when I need a part the same day rather than ordering online. read more

They gave me a quote of $100 total to install a trailor hitch for up to 2 hours of labor at $50/hr when I initially called. Then when I went there it was increased to $100/hr for labor. When I had the installation they said it took 1.8 hours to install a class 1 hitch with no wiring on a camry, which is absurd for professionals to take that long. It would normally take at most 30 minutes to an hour. I do not recommend this place. They're not trustworthy. read more

These guys were very good. They are new owners and are really trying. They inspected my trailer, replaced lights, put new tires on, and greased my hubs. They were detailed in what work was performed and did this in less than 6 hours! Very happy about how my trailer operates read more

The man that works there is always so rude to me. When I ask him for help it's always a burden for him to get up off of his chair. Today will be the last day I ever go back there after another bad experience with him. I would rather go out of my way to Walmart than give him business. read more

The new owners will be a breath of fresh to the customers as well. My company sent me there to buy supplies for 10 yrs and I always dreaded my interaction with Mr Cook. read more

I have a small boat trailer I was rebuilding, tried going to Northern Tool, and everything was a mess, disorganized, etc. Finally someone wandered into the area and I asked for a pair of 24" leaf springs they had listed as in-stock online at the store, but he couldn't find them either. There was a pair of 26" hanging in the 24" spot, thankfully I noticed before I would have brought them all the way home. Then he suggested Dixie Trailer, thankfully. There was a nice lady behind the counter that had me in and out in 5 minutes. They have everything there in-stock, hubs, lights, tires, bearings, neat, organized, and friendly. Local business with knowledgeable staff, 10/10 would suggest them to everyone that needs anything for trailer. read more

Super good inventory for large boat trailers, 26' and above. Nobody else stocks the bearings. They get anything they don't have in 24 hours. The very attractive daughter is supremely competent in getting you squared away. read more

The Cook family is pleased to announce that our business has been purchased by a very nice family. Ward has retired to his beloved cabin in NY. Nancy will stay on for a bit to help in the transition with the new owners. She will remain here in Ft Lauderdale next to her daughter and grandchildren. She will continue her passion for saving cats through a trap and nuter program that she has been doing over 20 years. She also feeds a feral cat colony every day rain or shine. She has funded it with her own money without donations. The new owners will be a breath of fresh air to the business with their youth and new ideas. Thank you to all of our long time and loyal customers that have endured some of my Fathers bad attitude. I can say this as I love him very much and spent 10 years working with them. It is a bittersweet moment for our family as we have had three generations in the store. We wish Dave and his family great success and prosperity in the future! read more

The older man running the shop is rude and doesn't seem to want to be bothered. He sold me a hub and bearing set that the seals weren't the right size. Went back and explained what was going on and resold me the same seals, wasn't pleasant and questioned me like I didn't know what i was doing. Went back again, now the third visit, and miraculously he had different diameter seals that fit the hub I bought, only by me asking. So if he was listening to the issue or cared enough to offer buying different sized seals I might of been able to complete the job on my trailer weeks ago. These are $5 seals we are taking here! They have a lot of supplies, but as a person who runs a shop, how did it take me asking if the seals came in a few sizes and why didn't he not recommend this to me for $5 options in size so I didn't have to come back 3 times?! Never doing business here. Customer service? Nope. Third visit he didn't even acknowledge me standing next to him and when I asked him a question I was brushed off. I'll gladly drive farther to do business at Ames trailer shop and bypass this D bag and his shop. read more
